The Rising Sun in Portsmouth

my food delivery took 1 hour and 37 minutes and then I got a message saying that it wouldn't come! I endend up picking it up and only chips were in the bag when I spent over £30 on it! I’m really unhappy about this!

Was good but it has gone down hill.

I'm very upset I've just rang them 10 times and they didn't pick up I'm disappointed I won't be ordering from there any more

I am very upset and disappointed. I ordered chips with my curry and received rice and no chips!!!! We don't eat rice!!!! The ribs were not in barbecue sauce, the sauce was tasteless!! Tried numerous times to call the rising sun but no response! Will not be using this Chinese again, am fuming.

I made an order on there website for delivery to be for 18:00 it turned up at 19:00 it was cold 🥶 I always order from here but it’s getting worse it’s probably the worst meal I’ve had from here I’m not happy as I spent £33 I’ve been craving for a Chinese since lockdown and I’m very disappointed. I usually have good meals from here I don’t know if I’d be ordering again

Lovely old pub, with wonderful food but the service was dreadful. Perhaps it was just a bad night but we had go & ask for the sweet menu, forgot our coffee & never bothered to ask if the food was OK, (which it was). So very different then when we were lady over.

Food arrived over an hour late, chicken curry had 2 pieces of meat in it, we ordered 2 portions of chips which didnt arrive, food was cold and tasteless. We called the restaurant to ask where the rest of our food was and to ask about the meat in the curry to be told they were to busy to send the rest of the food we had paid for and we could have store credit which we didnt want. There was manager to speak to. Terrible service. Wouldnt recomend this place to anyone avoid and order elsewhere

Absolutely disgusting this restaurant, orded via a just eat for £19.10 but was charged £35.80, and been pushed from one to the other to try get my money back but that don't seem to be happening, someone is clearly on the Rob here.

Was fined £9,500 by magistrates after putting ‘public health at risk’.

Best Chinese in pompey. Beef chow me in and jui zem chicken are amazing.

Not good at all. Gone downhill. Waited almost 2 hours for cheap looking, cold, plain, tasteless food. Don't waste your money!!!

Hands down the worst Chinese we have ever used. Took food out bag first problem all cold (place is a couple of miles away) chicken in the curry was all pink and under cooked. The beef in the beef curry was under cooked and still raw in places. Totally put us off the rest of the food. 0/10

Waited 2 hours for food...phoned several times and they couldn’t even pretend to care!! Just asked if I still want it..I was told it would be with me within the hour and then the man lied and told me he said it would be over an hour!! Worse customer service ever!!!

Got my order completely wrong and when I rang to complain and ask them to send the right order out they then tried to RE charge me for it and charge me for my delivery eventually when the right order was deliverd it was cold tasteless and the chicken in the curry was raw on the Inside so I rang and complained for the second time and the staff were very rude and told me to just put up with it and eat the food.!! Will never be going there again stay well away from this place surprising they ate still open for business

The food is always amazing and the staff are friendly and helpful and quick delivery. Would recommend to anyone.

The prawns were overcooked the peas were raw, tasteless fried rice, and undercooked chips. Do not order from here if you want to enjoy your food.

First time I went the food was fantastic can't wait to use again. Highly recommended.

Really bad customers service food came out qwick but really spicy couldn't eat it so waste of money they should get smone who speaks English next time
