absolutely gutted footling came with tuna (allergic to fish) instead of turkey breast, salad had wrong dressing and had jalapeños missing meatballs and drink and waffles, nacho chicken bites cold and soggy. Apart from the usual entitlement on display from a few patrons who see fit to leave their rubbish on tables despite walking past serval bins to leave, this subway is a nice addition to the area. 5 stars to the friendly staff who provide a very efficient service and the food is decent enough.

Amazing staff, turned up with my dog and totally understood the rules of no dogs allowed. I had just visited the vets nearby. Complaint Regarding Refusal to Accept £50 Note My disappointment and frustration regarding a recent experience I had at Subway North Harbour on 24th April 2024, when I attempted to pay with a genuine £50 note, the manager refused to accept it, citing an issue with counterfeit notes. The manager's refusal to accept my genuine £50 note was particularly frustrating as the note was fresh from the bank. I urged her to verify its authenticity, but she declined. Ironically, when I pointed out that a £20 note she accepted was fake, she conducted her checks and confirmed its authenticity. The inconsistency in handling different denominations is perplexing. Additionally, when I inquired about the authenticity of the £5 note she gave me in change, I was met with name calling, she called me "Sarcastic". I find this behavior unprofessional and believe it indicates a need for further training in customer service at the very least. She could see a customer was frustrated and rather than descaling the situation as a good manager should do, instead provoked the customer. I kindly request that you address these issues promptly. Furthermore, I would appreciate clarification as to why your store cannot accept a £50 note"Legal tender"

The totally unprofessional and unacceptable discussion being held by who I assume is a manager with a junior member of staff, in earshot of other staff and customers! There is a way of handling members of staff who may not be performing as well as they should, but there is absolutely no call for the public humiliation that this 'manager' (I'm using the term v. loosely!) was putting this junior member through... I certainly won't be re-visiting this place anytime soon... totally appalled!

She very loudly for all in the shop to hear, disclosed the employees current salary, listed all her short comings in a very aggressive manner. If she was trying to humiliate the poor girl she was doing a good job of it. Made everyone around us feel very uncomfortable. It was totally unprofessional and I would happily supply the employee with a witness statement to what I saw and heard. Appalling behaviour from management. Let's just say I won't be visiting this subway again.

Really unimpressed with the service today, the guy behind the counter refused to acknowledge myself and the queue of people waiting, we were stood there for a good 5 minutes whilst he very slowly made an Uber order, not once did he ask someone else to come help, he also didn’t say a word to us or any apology for the wait, it was rude and I’d expect at least an acknowledgment since I’m paying stupid money for a sandwich!! Finally someone else came to help, again, no apology for the wait, I felt very rushed, I was ordering for myself and my mum, not a huge order, but he certainly made it seem that way! Finally got our food, no napkins, and the food wasn’t up to standard, my mums sub literally fell apart in her hands, barely any chicken, wedges were cold even though they just got cooked! Also, £8 for a poached egg, are you taking the piss? Your subway, not harrods. Really not happy, paid good money for poor service and food, won’t be returning.

Was a busy Friday, we had pre booked. They automatically add service charge to the bill. They had ran out of a certain dish by 7pm on a Friday night which surprised me. Server was helpful enough but not to warrant a specific service charge. Id rather leave a tip direct to the person if they go above and beyond. Which on this occasion they did not. The guy at the till/welcome desk was just doing his job, nothing more, nothing less but not very engaging. We literally had two drinks and two meals and the service charge was automatically about £5. Each to there own but watch out if you're in a bigger group ordering more and you don't feel the service warrants whatever they're automatically charging.

Amazing meal, decided to give them ago even after reading some negative reviews. Didn't recognise any of the issues reported. Service was great. I sat with a view of the kitchen and watched our meals being made. Having a degree in Hotel, Catering I was impressed with all aspects of our meal and will definitely be returning - though due to portion sizes there may be a slight delay.

Ordered four roasts, which were incorrectly charged. The server then printed off a incorrect bill and told us she had other customers to deal with. Took 45 minutes for our food, which was then wrong. The server then didn’t seem too concerned that they’d managed to serve a roast dinner without any roast potatoes. We were offered potatoes, then told that they wouldn’t be ready in time, then told they would be ready in time (they never turned up). Much better places in Portsmouth more deserving of your money for both the quality of food, services and general pleasantness
