Subway in Portsmouth

ordered 2 meals - neither was toasted as ordered, both were missing cheese, one side of waffle fries was missing and the other was cold. overall worst experience I've had with subway. Definitely only get in restaurant and avoid delivery as their standards disappear

Very tastey and worth the money .

Asked for some alterations on the comments section that weren’t picked up in the shop so the sandwich wasn’t exactly what I wanted

Churro was unflavoured and sauce was missing - literally just a tube of flavourless batter. Cookies were not cooked and fell apart formlessly. Terrible.

Late on a very quiet Sunday evening just after Christmas. Quite tasty.

I never leave reviews but this has got to be one of the worst orders we have ever received. Footlong turned up as a 6 inch and the other part of the order which was a 6 inch has missing items. £20 odd pounds for 2 small rolls is not good!

Absolutely shocking. We asked for No salsa and loads of jalapeños on the nachos. They turned up with loads of salsa and no jalapenos. We paid for double meat and cheese on the subs and there was barely any in it. It cost us over £50 for this. Outrageous

No food delivered? Subway called to say the driver had stolen the food, but were working on a solution, the is was well over an hour ago and I have hungry children. I’m out of pocket a lot of money and not sure what to do? Just want the food.

rolls very dry and crumbley . filling fresh n tasty but rolls fell apart when eating because so dry . also rolls seemed smaller than 6 inches

very good food and service just sauce was missing from our footling pepperoni and cheese side

absolutely gutted footling came with tuna (allergic to fish) instead of turkey breast, salad had wrong dressing and had jalapeños missing meatballs and drink and waffles, nacho chicken bites cold and soggy. But one good thing the cookie was OK. was told they can't deliver replacement except if I collect they don't have drivers, so hopefully a refund cos over £30 ordered

Apart from the usual entitlement on display from a few patrons who see fit to leave their rubbish on tables despite walking past serval bins to leave, this subway is a nice addition to the area. 5 stars to the friendly staff who provide a very efficient service and the food is decent enough.

missing some ingredients from my salad, not enough sauce in my salad or the sub, crinkle fries things and churros were over reheated and chewy! I know next time not to bother and to order a shop and do it myself

Amazing staff, turned up with my dog and totally understood the rules of no dogs allowed. I had just visited the vets nearby. Lady took my order, offered my dog a drink and gave my order to outside the premises. 5 stars for the lovely lady that served me. 23/06/24 11:30ish Paulsgrove Portsmouth. Highly recommend!

Poor sandwich making skills. Young guy ripped the bread which caused alot of waste and presented a poor state of a sandwich. They used to be very generous with salad in there but have gone down hill alot! Staff used to be so friendly but clearly not anymore

Staff was very nice but the margarita slice barely cooked, soggy absolutely disgusting. The fries things already came out cold, again couldn’t eat it and the cheese bites came with no sauce.

food preparation sucks, no point in ordering extra anything because you don't get what you pay for anyway so a complete bump I'm fuming

Restaurant is a joke always muck up orders, can’t even get the right bread that you ask for ,so then your sat there with a order you can’t eat because you don’t like honey and oats on your bread, whilst just eat have charged an extra £6 on top to what it would cost in store for then you unable to eat it and not even offer a refund, actually going to stop using just eat and Uber eats there all a joke

Complaint Regarding Refusal to Accept £50 Note My disappointment and frustration regarding a recent experience I had at Subway North Harbour on 24th April 2024, when I attempted to pay with a genuine £50 note, the manager refused to accept it, citing an issue with counterfeit notes. The manager's refusal to accept my genuine £50 note was particularly frustrating as the note was fresh from the bank. I urged her to verify its authenticity, but she declined. Ironically, when I pointed out that a £20 note she accepted was fake, she conducted her checks and confirmed its authenticity. The inconsistency in handling different denominations is perplexing. Additionally, when I inquired about the authenticity of the £5 note she gave me in change, I was met with name calling, she called me "Sarcastic". I find this behavior unprofessional and believe it indicates a need for further training in customer service at the very least. She could see a customer was frustrated and rather than descaling the situation as a good manager should do, instead provoked the customer. I kindly request that you address these issues promptly. Furthermore, I would appreciate clarification as to why your store cannot accept a £50 note"Legal tender"

Visited as a family today. Lunch going well and food as expected. When the manager / owner decided to conduct a performance review at one of the tables in the restaurant. She very loudly for all in the shop to hear, disclosed the employees current salary, listed all her short comings in a very aggressive manner. If she was trying to humiliate the poor girl she was doing a good job of it. Made everyone around us feel very uncomfortable. It was totally unprofessional and I would happily supply the employee with a witness statement to what I saw and heard. Appalling behaviour from management. Let's just say I won't be visiting this subway again.

Food was good, service also good... Biggest issue arising from my visit? The totally unprofessional and unacceptable discussion being held by who I assume is a manager with a junior member of staff, in earshot of other staff and customers! There is a way of handling members of staff who may not be performing as well as they should, but there is absolutely no call for the public humiliation that this 'manager' (I'm using the term v. loosely!) was putting this junior member through... I certainly won't be re-visiting this place anytime soon... totally appalled!

Driver was prompt and polite, but the order was pushed back by almost an hour by the restaurant once the original delivery estimate passed.

The guilty of this food was awful it was thrown together it had far too much red looking salsa sauce hardly any meat all fallen apart when arrived and bread was burnt not toasted not happy at sll

The restaurant got the order wrong. It was ordered toasted and with cheese as well, which is what I paid for. It came with nothing but meat, lettuce, tomato and cucumber on soft bread.

Food as expected but the service was shocking! I was served by the Manager who couldn’t have been more miserable if she tried! The store was empty and I ordered a single standard footlong but it was like I had really interrupted her morning.

Food as expected was good quality and no complaints. The staff need to be attentive. The lady doing the till spent more ti.e dealing with a pile of paperwork before dealing with putting salad on my order. No offer ony drink or crisp. As soon as i paid back to paperwork

Planty time I ordered this roast chicken salad. Usually is very nice and my favourite from subway. But today the chicken was frozen. Not just cold! Definitely frozen :( I gave 2 stars because everything else was ok.

Ordered the bacon and cheese melt. It was nice but I couldn’t taste the bacon or cheese because it was smothered in onion chutney. I scraped most of it off because they put so much in the sandwich but it was still overpowering. Wish I had known I would have asked it without. Not the best sandwich.

The worst attempt at nachos I’ve ever seen, looks like they put a bag of Doritos in then spat a mouthful of salsa on it. Furthermore, I’ve seen more cheese on a ham sandwich

Very good,however very expensive.One foot long cost £8 pounds ..2 pounds less than uk average hourly rate...More people come if they provide offers....

Food was good but prices are going up making it an expensive treat now not a regular visit.

No faults to delivery driver but I am paying for extra from the restaurant and not getting. Annoying!

They were given an hour and a half to get meals ready for 6pm. 45 minutes late.

We ordered our half foot baguettes to collect and hot there just before the slotted time and they were ready so top stars for speed. However the submelts were very like warm to cool when we ate them. Next time I would order on site.

Unfortunately tho two of the rolls got mixed up and so one didn’t get eaten.

Amazing sub, been there a few times and the best subs in the Gosport/Fareham/Porchester area. Subs made really well and were quite generous with everything.

Both drinks that were delivered were wrong. One of the footlong subs was on the wrong bread. Very disappointing.

Really unimpressed with the service today, the guy behind the counter refused to acknowledge myself and the queue of people waiting, we were stood there for a good 5 minutes whilst he very slowly made an Uber order, not once did he ask someone else to come help, he also didn’t say a word to us or any apology for the wait, it was rude and I’d expect at least an acknowledgment since I’m paying stupid money for a sandwich!! Finally someone else came to help, again, no apology for the wait, I felt very rushed, I was ordering for myself and my mum, not a huge order, but he certainly made it seem that way! Finally got our food, no napkins, and the food wasn’t up to standard, my mums sub literally fell apart in her hands, barely any chicken, wedges were cold even though they just got cooked! Also, £8 for a poached egg, are you taking the piss? Your subway, not harrods. Really not happy, paid good money for poor service and food, won’t be returning.

Only disappointment the bag did not have a sticker on it. However the food was lovely & still warm.

Brilliant sandwich, brilliant service. Little expensive but I don't do it everyday like most people.
