I think this is the best place to get a coffee in Guildford. I always go here when in the town centre.

Although we sat outside, the café itself is very nice. The staff were friendly, even though it was exceptionally busy. The drinks we had were tasty. The lite bites we selected for lunch were also tasty, however they were not our first choices as many savoury food items had already run out.

Really great and clever use of the telephone kiosk in Tunsgate Arch. Very good coffee too - quick, easy, socially distanced.

Really fantastic pub for a few drinks. Good staff, amazing historic building with atmosphere and usually some interesting punters there.

Lovely fish and chips. Large portions and light crispy batter. Would definitely visit again thanks.

Dogs allowed in which is fine but there was dog hairs all over our table and it was sticky. Bit off putting. No baps for bacon or sausage. Asked for sliced bread instead, told no as they wouldn’t have enough bread if other customers wanted it !!! They then changed their minds and said we could have bacon / sausage sandwich. Coffee was nice and general surroundings very pleasant. Nice area to sit outside in the warmer weather. Staff friendly although we didn’t like being asked why we were not going to give them a tip. Don’t usually tip in cafes and was left feeling a bit uncomfortable !
