What a fab find. Randomly came across this when looking for breakfast. Did not expect such a quaint cafe in such beautiful surroundings. The cafe has a lot of options, comfort breakfast to healthy breakfasts. We sat outside, overlooking an old golf course which now has free roaming sheep! The cafe is dog friendly too and I think makes a great visit for all ages. Very impressed with this place. Look forward to going back

Great place for meeting up with lots of outdoor space, clean facilities, including baby change. Great selection of food and drink, also doggy menu. Lovely staff and lots of parking make this a great place to go back to.

Service was fast & friendly, we had pancakes - vegan option was good, as was the chocolate & banana - and the cooked breakfast also looks great. Nice to see a dog friendly place doing well, and their facilities are very good.

Great food for us and they couldn't have been more accommodating in serving my two children with a litany of allergies and intolerances.

My family and I had a chance to eat at The Farmhouse Restaurant yesterday after a long bike ride. AllI can only sing the praises of The Farmhouse and their staff. We did not have a booking but were accommodated without issue. Our children have a plethora of food allergies, one requiring an EpiPen if exposed, and this was also accommodated without issue. The food was wonderful, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the restaurant itself was simply delightful with wonderful decor, great views and a wonderful outdoor space to let the children be children without disturbing other diners. We will absolutely be returning and recommending The Farmhouse to others!

A table was booked at Rokers cafe for 12.30 on a Friday. Quite a busy time. We arrived ahead of schedule and were greeted warmly by all the staff. There were already several tables well into their meals, and we were shown to ours by smiling and professional wait staff. The orders were taken promptly and efficiently. We were not hassled, but the staff were available to get the attention for extra drinks or desert menus. It was quite noisy with general customer conversations going on, but that is to be expected when busy. The plates were pretty, stylish, and of good quality and size, and we were very impressed with the quality of the food when it arrived. The pork belly was very well cooked. The all-day breakfast was massive, and the chicken burger was one of the best ever. Juicy fillet, well seasoned, and even the side salad was crisp with interesting leaves. Although it took a little longer to get desert, we were informed that it would before ordering. (It didn't matter) the ice creams were good portion sizes and the Eaton mess was great to finish off. All told a very high level of quality product and service, over and above what one would expect. Would happily go again and would also recommend to others.

Beautiful café with a lovely atmosphere. The service was very welcoming, even though they often suggest to book a table, they still try to accommodate everyone. We enjoyed a nice light lunch of (from the specials ) cheese and caramelised onion quiche with salad and (from the main menu) Cajun Buttermilk chicken flatbread. The quiche was a little small and not as rich as expected but tasty nonetheless. The flatbread was a very generous size and very satisfying. The service was lovely thanks to Tamzin and Floren. Floren is a delightful character and certainly helped the atmosphere!

Popped in here for breakfast. The food was excellent. Got really busy after we ordered so were lucky. Attentive and friendly staff.

Love this place, wish they were open longer hours. We need more places like this this side of Guildford. Great food.

A super lunch at Rokers Farm today. Good menu, good food. Great atmosphere. Especially nice to meet Mr. Roker...a gentleman.

Nice place with outside seating and dogs welcome. Food looked nice, but we only had coffee and cake. Only problem was the manager or front of house was very stressed and unwelcoming! Told us we only had an hour at the table, which was fine as we weren’t having a meal, but he really needs to learn the right way to talk to people, and not treat them like an inconvenience!

Not been here for some years but its made a big step forward. Food was good , but you will need to book. Very busy when we were there last week. We'll be back.

A brilliant find. We were in Guildford for the weekend and looking for somewhere for brunch and took a chance on this place. It was a sunny day and it’s such a lovely spot with sheep grazing nearby on rolling green land and people exercising their dogs in a little dog agility section alongside behind a picket fence. The food was delicious - we had pork belly and a veggie breakfast, with excellent scrambled eggs which is rare! Staff were super helpful. There were changing facilities for babies in both men’s and women’s toilets and lovely and clean and spacious - the best changing facilities I’ve come across in several years of changing nappies! It was clearly a popular spot and I can see why. We’ll be back when we’re next in the area. Thank you!

We popped in for a late breakfast/lunch, hadn’t realised we were supposed to book but they found us a table with no hassle. Service was excellent, food was amazing, it’s a little pricey but worth it. Clean, tidy, nice location and friendly staff. If I had one criticism I would prefer chunky chips rather than fries with the ham, egg and chips. My partner loved the big breakfast.

A breakfast meeting and first visit happy to find this local hidden gem. Had a delicious eggs Benedict and great coffee. On second visit we had soup and local fare. Bright, clean and airy. Lovely to see the sheep grazing nearby. A great spot to get away from it all. Dog friendly.

Horrible service, I have no idea why the male”boss” treat us like so rude. Not welcoming, apparently my race I have no idea why, Been there twice both experience are bad, food is small and tasteless. coffee is ordinary and flat, served cool, not hot. Would never go back.

I go here regularly to meet family and friends. Got a good menu and perfect for lunch. However I definitely recommend booking in advance as it is popular. When busy the service can suffer a bit but this only happens very occasionally.

The restaurant was packed would recommend booking in advance as extremely popular. Dog friendly with loads of goodies for your favourite pooch the service is good and the food also excellent restaurant is very noisy when packed.

Been for lunch/brunch a few times and the food has been of a good and consistent standard and good value for money. The staff are always friendly. Recomended.

Terrible coffee, incredibly bitter, food was average, service very slow. Young waitress was a bit miserable although it was busy to be fair. Pretty disappointing if I’m honest.

We stopped for a coffee whilst on the cycling trip. We didn't eat so can't rate the food but from what I have seen around the portions and the presentation was gorgeous. Service and the atmosphere was delightful and calm in fact there were 10 dogs accompanying their owners for lunch. Very Dog friendly place.... spacious and well equipped for promoting enough space to eat in peace....not to be disturbed by dog presence.

Popped in for a spot of lunch, glad we did. Packed and full of happy customers. Watching the food come out observed very generous portions. Had the farmhouse bap with a side of loaded fries, absolutely fab.

Had to wait 50 odd mins for drinks but they came with food. Other tables getting served before us, only wanted poached eggs on toast but was charged for the full price. I won't be rushing back in a hurry

Visited for the first time today after recommendations from friends. I had the halloumi poke bowl which was absolutely delicious, so fresh and flavoursome and beautifully presented. My husband had the ploughman's, also very delicious! The interior is bright and clean and the waitress who served us was lovely. We will definitely be returning!

The food is great but the service is dire. Got seated OK as we'd booked but then after 30 mins no one had taken our order and when we asked the waitress she was so rude and snappy I just went up and queued at the till and ordered there. Ruined it really. Shame and there's no need to be rude to people.

I was always a big fan of the farmhouse restaurant, and have been going here for years without any need for complaint. I have often recommended it to friends and family. This occasion however was very different, we were seated by a pleasant waitress, we waited so long to be served and finally ordered, Sometime later another waitress brought our food to the table , she was snappy, poker faced and unfriendly !! She plonked down my lunch and my granddaughters , we had had ordered jacket potatoe with beans and cheese.., it was HALF a potatoe which had rolled into its side, around 2 tablespoons of beans and cheese was almost invisible, my granddaughter had clearly got the other half , I was too shocked to complain !! Coffee came 10 mins later although it was ordered with the meal , coffee and HOT milk , I got cold milk so I politely say to this miserable woman “ can I have hot milk please” she snapped back at me “well did you ask the waitress for hot” , “yes I did” … she stormed off without replying and never did bring me any milk back so a cup of coffee I paid for was wasted, … all in all food was awful, service was awful, atmosphere awful , we couldn’t wait to leave and I won’t be going back ,, certainly won’t be paying £7.95 for half a potatoe again., such a shame … PS. I went to Squires two days later and ordered the same meal , service was quick and friendly, I got a whole potatoe, plenty of filling , a tub of cheese on the side , abundant salad, coleslaw , and a smile from the waiter … I left him a tip !!!

Came here with a friend who had never been to the restaurant before. We sat outside as restaurant very crowded turned and it out to be a lovely afternoon. Had coffee and sponge cake as limited for time. Very friendly staff. Perhaps a bit of a wait but understandable. Nice atmosphere, very dog friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Cosy location with outdoor and indoor seating. Just aside from the shop and walking distance to Merrist Wood College. Staff are friendly, prices are reasonable and service was average. Would visit again, however checked website and arrived to cafe being closed despite web saying it was open.

Showed up 9.15 am , told you should have booked !!! for breakfast, really !! Sat at table with no reserved sign, eventually tole we had to move, got up and left, will not be going back.

Have been 3 times and although food good unfortunately they are are not organised with service instead of all staff running around indoors and outdoors if they had set waiters for indoors and set ones outside would then run smoothly. Also need a couple of different staff to clear tables only. Having said that we shall try again.

Beautiful light and airy farmhouse, with lovely breakfast options from eggs Royale, eggs benedict, a farmhouse breakfast or even create your own option. You can take your dogs in there and they have dog bowls of water and treats for them outside, inside you cab buy them special homemade dog treats including pupcakes 🙂

Very busy when we arrived just before 2 on a Saturday and we were warned that it would be 30mins before food was delivered. The chicken burger was delicious apart from the rather boring frozen chips and my family had enormous and delicious sandwiches. Overall a lovely experience and warm enough to sit outside and watch the new born lambs play.

Fabulous full breakfast. Hash brown is crunchy outside and soft inside. Bacon feels fresh and tender and not too salty. Fried duck eggs was a big suprise.

I came here for the first time the other day with my Mum for lunch. Such a lovely, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are so friendly especially the manager. The food was delicious and fresh and I couldn’t fault the service. A lovely menu with lots of choices and so accommodating when we brought our dog. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back!

Best prebook a table coz it was very busy when we arrived 1130. Very pleasant service. Nice good large serving sandwich.

The most friendly and accommodating team of staff when I visit with a group of friends and our babies. The service is also very quick and the food all fresh and delicious. We visited first as a one off and now go weekly as its such a great place, highly recommend to all!

We go to the rokers farmhouse cafe on a regular basis for breakfast, lunch or just coffee and always thoroughly impressed. The staff are welcoming and attentive, food and coffee are delicious and great gluten free selection. All ingredients are locally sourced however still remains affordable. Coronation chicken mix has huge chunks of chicken and great flavour. All day breakfast is a great touch but can get beer and a burger if you fancy! Just brilliant

A bit more high end and pricey than I was expecting for where it was but they were great, absolutely no complaints here.

Came here for breakfast before going on to local heathland for a work trip. We arrived a few minutes early (before they actually opened) but they were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food was amazing! Really tasty and not a spot of grease in sight. Reasonably priced and beautiful surroundings. It's not far from the office so will be telling everyone about it.

First time visiting The Farmhouse Cafe, was really impressed. Breakfast was amazing, good quality food which was cooked to perfection. Quick service with friendly staff who are really attentive. Really liked the outside space, thought the dog assault course was a brilliant idea, nice to find a cafe dog friendly. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend....I am now in a food coma.

I have been going to Rokers for my pet and wild animal food for years and had forgotten that they have a restaurant, a friend suggested going there as she had found it very good. It did not disappoint,a varied menu from breakfast to brunch/lunch,they do an afternoon tea as well but a minimum of 6 people if you require the full works with sandwiches and need to phone and book as chef has to prepare sandwiches. They do just cream teas and no minimum amount of people but advised to phone and book a table as it gets very busy( it was busy today).

Found it by chance. Very nice decor and very clean. Lots of covered outside space, but I chose to sit inside. I was going to have a jacket potato, but the wait time was a bit too long for me. Just had a cuppa and a slice of cake, both of which were lovely. Nice friendly staff. This is a very dog friendly cafe, with its own doggy menu which has mains and ice cream! Outside there are water bowls and doggie treats too, plus a huge area where people can walk their dogs. All these compliments from someone who is terrified of dogs!! I only saw one, which was nicely tucked under a table 😃 Lovely place.

My husband and I visited today (with our dog) after googling where nearby did brunch and luckily for us it directed us here! We were greeted by the manager immediately and we chose to sit outside to enjoy the sunshine. We had a delicious full English and a huge avocado, eggs and salmon combo! Fabulously dog friendly (with a separate agility area if your dog wants a play, and a treat station for them!) Great, friendly service, (the manager has a great sense of humour!) Scrumptious food! We shall definitely be back very soon!

Sadly the secret is out.. lovely food

I would rate higher but each time we go of late they seem very disorganised. The man who I assume is the manager lacks correct customer service. Abrupt and almost rude but I’m not sure if it’s a culture thing because I believe he’s French……. There is a distinct lack of women working there and I hate to say it but you usually get a much better service from women in an environment like this. The male servers attention to detail lacks. The food was tasty and good size portions but it really is the service that lets this place down :( We visited for an early lunch so it wasn’t even busy but we just wanted to eat and leave rather than stay and enjoy coffee after. I hope they look at the recent feedback as it seems to be a trend which is such a shame as it has potential with the right staff and service levels.

This place is truly outstanding. The menu choices, the friendly and efficient service and the quality of the food, all add up to a unique experience for this area. We have been coming here since it was a club house for the golf course and we consistently leave happy. Can't recommend this place enough. The poached eggs are ALWAYS cooked to perfection! *Tip: book a table outside and soak up the sun and the view. Please give me a like if you found this review helpful 👍 ↙️

This place could be so much better if the service was speedier. No complaints about the food and drinks, although if you’re in a larger group your food might be a bit cold (they don’t bring it till everyone’s order is ready). We visit fairly often, but sadly the one consistent thing is the slow service. Such a shame. Each time we return we hope it may improve, but not so far.
