LEGOLAND Windsor Tournament Tavern in Windsor and Maidenhead

We had breakfast at the Tournament Tavern and had a great experience. Our server Drew was so friendly and brilliant with our kids. The food was great too. We order some of the premium items as well as the standard breakfast and it was really good. We made some amendments to the standard items like adding avocado for the kids etc and it all arrived as expected! Drew was super helpful and the kids loved trading badges with her and speaking to her.

We recently stayed at the LEGOLAND Hotel for the first time to celebrate our son’s 6th birthday, and we were quite pleased with our short break. For dinner, we booked a table at the Tournament Tavern, as we had read many good reviews, and overall, it was a memorable experience. The food was good, although slightly overpriced. However, the service was great, which I would say was the best we encountered during our entire time at LEGOLAND. Despite the restaurant being busy when we arrived, our server JANE, was absolutely brilliant. She kept us updated and ensured everything ran smoothly, which made the experience far more enjoyable. A special mention has to go to how wonderfully they treated my son. He received a special birthday crown, which was a fantastic touch for a birthday celebration. The staff also made a big effort to sing "Happy Birthday" to him, complete with a candle ceremony. Even though it was the fourth birthday song that night, they still made it feel special and personal for us. I appreciate the staff for making my son's birthday dinner such a memorable experience. Wow! What an amazing dining experience. All the staff were amazing. We were greeted by a young lad, I can’t remember his name, who was brilliant with my boys, asking if they wanted couloring in and chatting to them while he got our menus and got us sat down. My son wanted beans on toast( not at all on the menu) but the chefs were more than willing to make it for him. They even offered extra toast halfway through him eating it. Our meals were amazing. The soup was the best soup I have ever tasted. And my salmon was divine. I am gluten free and there was plenty of choice for me. Kids meals are £22.99 for two courses, £24.99 for 3 course. Adult was £32.99 for 2 courses and £34.99 for 3 coursed. A bit pricey but honestly, absolutely delicious and well worth the money. We are at legoland as a special birthday trip for my son’s birthday. Jane, our waitress went out of her way to make our meal a special experience. She got him a birthday crown and organised a special ice cream and the staff all sang happy birthday to him. So so lovely. Jane was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She really is a credit to the hotel. Staff like her are worth her weight in gold. To be honest, all the staff went out of their way and deserve a massive shout out, but because we were served by Jane and had our main interactions with her, it’s her praises I am singing so highly! I would highly recommend a visit to the tournament tavern as part of your Legoland stay. I’m so full up I need to go for a nap now 😂

We had a beautiful meal in the tournament tavern. There is a dragon at the fire place and you can see the meals being prepared in the kitchen. It looks magical and there are some lovely extra Halloween decorations. My son is a fussy eater however he managed to eat three courses. A big thanks to Jane, she was really good with him and even got him to eat more of his fish. 😀 The desserts were to die for. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend eating here if you visit LEGOLAND Windsor resort.

Ate at tournament Tavern today, felt extremely welcomed by Erin and Meena as well as Jane and Lewis. They were very kind to me and my family during our meal and were extremely attentive and worked very hard, nothing was too much for them. Had a lovely chat with Meena and Erin at the end of my dinner they uplifted my mood and are an asset to the company. Additionally Lewis worked extremely well despite being a new manager.

WOW!!!! So to start, the food was great, it was a clean and well presented restaurant BUT the star of the show has to be our waiter for the evening! Adam is a 16-17 year old lad who was nothing short of phenomenal! He was attentive, polite and funny! He catered to all our needs including getting hot water for our babies milk. The guy, although studying to be a doctor, could easily be working in any of the top restaurants in the future! I would highly recommend and if you are lucky enough to be served by Adam, enjoy the experience!

We have eaten in Tournament Tavern over the last two evenings and the food has been excellent. Entertainment at tables provided by ‘knights of the realm’ - keeps the children entertained. Tonight we were served by Jane who was very attentive yet gave us the space to eat at our own pace - she even remembered our son’s name. An excellent dining experience, would definitely recommend if staying at Legoland.

Great service, particularly Ruchi, but be very aware of suspect pricing. For instance, two items from the kids menu costs less than the '2 course special' price. So you will be charged more if you ask for the 2 courses v separate plates. Then we were charged separately for 2 courses which were from the 2 course adult set menu, being charged the a la carte price. Caught that on review of the receipt later on. When I went back to sort, they tried to charge me more for the two kids courses which had been billed separately (per kids a la carte menu) as the set menu for kids for 2 plates would have cost more! Wasn't having that. The pricing needs an overhaul as makes little sense presently. Food OK. Great setting, kids happy.

For my daughter Ruby’s eighth birthday, we visited the Legoland resort in Windsor. The hotel was fantastic, especially our stay in the wizards room. The staff service was exceptional, but the overall experience at the park was just okay. Despite my daughter enjoying it, the long queues for rides, ranging from 45 minutes to an hour and a half, dampened the excitement. Additionally, some rides were disappointingly short. Surprisingly, despite being the opening weekend, none of the Lego was cleaned, which was unexpected. The hotel room had a convenient mini-fridge, but the prices for food at the resort were exorbitant for what was offered. However, I must mention that the food at the hotel was fantastic. Considering the high prices and cost of the resort’s eateries, I would highly recommend bringing your own food and having a picnic. Overall, we had a good time, but I’m not sure if we would return.

This is not a good restaurant. Very little if any of the food is made fresh. The quality of ingredients is very poor, the staff are terrible (and the manager is disinterested), the menus are confusing and lack sense. Kids fish and chips - poorest quality previously frozen fish overcooked to the colour of coffee. Kids steak - wafer thin, overcooked Adult burger - literally inedible in terms of the quality of the meat. At over £20 you'd expect something fresh (which they said it was) but this is a very poor quality meat patty that tasted highly processed. Accompanied by some vinegary coleslaw (not home made). Deserts - fine but far too large for children The bar selection is poor and the win list terrible. YEs , you're in legoland, but this is a £600 a night hotel room, so if you're pretending to be gourmet do it properly. The staff are doing their best, but no-one seems to get that this is a premium restaurant and they behave like you're somewhere where standards dont matter. Damaged spoons, dirty tables, strange meet and greet by two people dressed up as knights. What you actually want is high quality ingredients cooked well. The competence of the kitchen is not there to deliver on the menu - so they either need to imrpove the chef and cook from scratch - or they need to adjust the menu to be more alligned with what they are capable of delivering. The pricing itself is not an issue, as long as the food is good, but at £25 for a burger you're competing on price with places that do it properly. Would it be that hard to buy decent meat and make you're own burgers. Coudl you make your own sauces / salads - rather than using tub-based coleslaw and salsa. Of course you could - but this is presumably about rinsing people rather than giving a great experience. Breakfast is frightening - we all opted for the cold breakfast as the reviews talked about cold food and the people around us were sending theirs back. My comment on breakfast is that it was a great packed lunch but the environmental damage that comes with their low staff offering (just bung a load of items in a metal bin and serve it), is surely not acceptable in 2024. How much wasted milk / jam / food must that create. Come on legoland. You can do better than this. Ps the park is incredible and it was the best day ever....

Stayed in the castle and had a meal in the tavern. The food was lovely, especially the salted caramel tart and ice cream and the portions for the children extremely big. The set menu is more value for money for the price rather than the Al a carte. We were served by Jane and she is such an asset to the team. She was extremely professional and friendly. She chatted to our children and when service was slow, she chased up our food. She cleared the plates quickly and couldn't do enough for us. It's rare to find someone so kind and we appreciated it with 2 fidgety children. Many thanks again Jane.

Service and food exceeded my expectations, Chefs went extra mile by even making pureed potato for my baby which just was amazing, service was amazing too, the lady named Jane was very attentive and kind and made me feel welcome and I really had great time, so thanks to Chefs and Jane :)

There are two restaurants for evening meals, but this one has an A la Carte menu in addition to the set choices. Both nights we had different meals and quality was excellent, good restaurant standard. In addition to that the staff are just lovely, chatted to our grandsons about their day in the park and made us feel very welcome and appreciated. Our waitress Jane made us feel like we had become friends, and gave us advice over where to park when we went on to Windsor Castle- which was invaluable!

We stayed in the Lego castle hotel on 12th Feb for a short family break. During our stay we had an evening meal at the tavern. The food was lovely, however the best part of the evening was the outstanding service we had from Jane. From the moment we arrived Jane was so welcoming and her service, professionalism and attention to detail was exceptional. Such a lovely lady who deserves the recognition for her hard work and efforts in making everybody feel like a special guest.

So, this isn’t a five star restaurant but I’m giving 5*’s as it hit our expectation's exactly. The food was interesting and tasty, our son was entertained by the fantastic Lego sculptures and Jane our brilliant server who looked after us beautifully. We could turn up in joggers, a little weary from the park and enjoy ourselves with a cocktail. Golden.

Went here for dinner on our 2nd day at Legoland, we were served by Jane who was wonderful. She made sure we were all catered for, even remembering the kids names, and singing happy birthday for the eldest. The food was delicious and didn't have to wait long at all.

The Tournament Tavern’s quality and service was incomparable to the other restaurant(s) around Legoland, sterling service all the way and the quality of the food was next to none. We had a lovely lady called Jane serving us, she was so accommodating for my boy and his birthday, even brought out a happy birthday ice cream for him (a candle on it), even asked if he would be ok if he wanted to be sung to, as she knew that some children get overwhelmed with noise (as mine sometimes does, I really appreciated her asking), he was so happy he called her “Auntie Jane”! And Jack helping to serve the food in between, (great banter with the husband) and the chefs’ cooking was absolutely on point yesterday evening… we just couldn’t fault any of it!! Came down for breakfast this morning and had a great choice for breakfast, Amanda, Sadie, Nya and Rushi are all such nice ladies and just as accommodating, we loved our experience at this restaurant it’s really topped our stay, highly recommend!!

Excellent service this evening! We wanted to sit near the fireplace and this wasn't a problem. Jane was very attentive and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The food was lovely. Jane spoilt us with a complimentary slice of brownie with icecream, as it was my partners birthday.

Booked dinner for 6.15 with our 3 children as a birthday treat and stay at the hotel. Was shown to table and was given 5 or 6 different full menus in total for adult and child version of: a la carte, set menu (normal), set menu (halloween) plus cocktail menus. Ordered within 10ish minutes, drinks didn't show up for another 10 although it wasn't busy at that time. Food order arrived partly wrong after another 30 minutes (waitress mishead/ordered steak instead of fish and chips for our son) and kids were bored and hungry so we just said it was fine because goodness knows how long the correct fish and chips would take. Food itself was OK, but probably harvester quality and not worth the premium especiallyconsideringthe wait. Waited another 25 minutes after finishing our mains for our table to be cleared and we could then ask to order our pudding (the kids menus only had a 2 course option, otherwise we would have just had the 1 course as they were so tired by this point). Waiting staff were constantly rushing around, but other diners were all waiting a very long time for any food/drinks. We paid before the puddings arrived to try to speed up the process (ha!) But only 3 of the 4 ice creams were delivered and our sons vegan ice cream was delayed for another 5 minutes and he started crying as he is the youngest and didn't think he was getting any. The waiting staff member (sam) apologised as he said the vegan ice cream wasn't on our bill (it was, and we had paid for it). Also very strange interaction from him during our visit as he visited our table twice to check our sons names, I assumed because a birthday song/treat was due as my original booking stated it was for my sons birthdays - but nothing appeared. (Why would he visit our table on 2 occasions to just ask for their names? Weird!) Also, another male member of staff spilled a tiny bit of coke over my sons sleeve (not an issue in itself, but then the waiting staff swore by accident!). We raised the issue with the very long waits, wrong food and misinformation about the ice cream to the staff, however nothing was done about it. By this point we had been at the restaurant nearly 2 hours for 2 courses, although the second course was 2 scoops of ice cream served within the last 10 minutes, over 1.5 hours after we arrived. For a restaurant in a very child centric place, there was no colouring/activities etc to entertain them, especially as the wait times were so long. The waiting staff did not seem organised, and we had to go to up them several times at the bar to ask for things, as they did not 'scan' the tables to check if anyone was trying to catch their attention. £108 was the final damage to our tournament treasure chest. We would definitely stay at the castle Hotel again, but this tavern is sadly the weak link in this legoland armour!

We had breakfast here seeing as we was staying at The Castle Hotel, Amanda greeted us and sat us down, very friendly and smiley, gave us all a menu. We looked at the menu then Amanda came back and to our order, we had continental then chose to have full English aswell, if you don’t ask you don’t get. They ask you your choice of cereal which comes in a red mental basket, in there you have a little carton of milk, apple, choice of cereal, bowl, spoon and then croissants and pain au chocolates, this was a bit hit and worked well. Full English came and again good portion size, no complaints here. Jack who worked the shift aswell very helpful, we was seated near the kitchen hatch and could see everything going on and the chef who I believe is Polish, you could see loves her job, making sure everything is correct before it’s sent out, on our way out we actually thanked her for such a wonderful experience and she said she was very grateful, she only hears negative comments never hears good, so we brought a smile to her face. Amanda and Jack are definitely an asset to this resturant and the chef :-)

This is our second visit and we are glad we came back ! We had breakfast this morning served by the lovely Amanda it was very busy and she was rushed off her feet but she looked after us and made our visit once again amazing ! We were served by Jane in the “Tournament Tavern” restaurant. She was fantastic and really helped take the strain when our son, who has additional needs, was struggling with being in a restaurant environment and was overtired and hungry, after a long day in the Legoland park. She was quick to offer distractions and was just generally a fantastic face for the restaurant. Thank you for your understanding and quick thinking Jane! (My husband also appreciated the free pint- because there was an issue with the gas and his drink took a little longer than expected!) Great food and great atmosphere :)

We booked here whilst staying at the resort hotel. It was a lovely meal and felt much calmer than Bricks (although only had breakfast there) It wasn't as big but the atmosphere felt really nice. When we were seated, we where handed ALOT of menus; Childs set menu and halloween menu, adult set menu and halloween menu, vegan menu and drinks menu. It was alot to take in despite there not actually being a lot to choose from on the menu. This lead to confusion after dinner when handed the bill and it being itemised per dish. (we were under the impression it was set so seeing how much it actually is may have been cheaper) Even our waitress said she has bought this to the attention to her manager but hasn't got anywhere. The food did take a bit of time to come out but I think it was because it wasn't very busy. Food was presented well and tasted good too. Fall back was the cost of the meal. Children's set menu was approx, £18 for two courses and adults £32 for two courses. This was really costly for the amount of food provided. A family for are looking at a meal for £100 and that doesn't include drinks! Soft drinks ranged from £3.50-4, beers £6. Unfortunately during our visit they had a very limited options for beer, and no ales. Despite this, it was nice to experience, but wouldn't neccisarily say its a must do when visiting.

We had a great meal (though our steak wasnt cooked how we wanted, it was still really tasty so didnt think it was necessary to complain) We came for our daughters 7th birthday as a late present to her and the lady who served us was amazing. Her name was Jane. When we finished our meals they brought out her pudding with happy birthday written on the plate in chocolate which was a really nice touch and she was given a badge for her lanyard. Very expensive though but we had a great time despite that. The decor is amazing the fireplace was brilliant.
