KFC in Portsmouth

The place is so dirty and the chip fryer was broken so couldn’t have fries. You’d think with all the staff stood around doing nothing that they’d at least clean the tables. The toilets were also in a disgusting state.

We visited you , restaurant was dirty , staff messy , point of sale was terrible, toilets dirty Bins full , condiments empty. Staff swearing miserable Challenging at every obstacle, Uniforms filthy Manners non existent Display poor , counter dirty. Trays dirty , tables soiled Old food on the floor. Product, well it was terrible 2 3 piece meals 6 drumsticks ,asked why told by an unkempt member of staff , that’s what’s allocated to you!!! It wasn’t even cooked properly, oil was old so product was greasy the batter was flat and chewy. It was disgusting 🤮 Chips / fries seasoned but cold . Tried to complain but fobbed of . I worked for kfc in the past so I know how your systems work . Aweful all round you have lost your way, productivity has overtaken product care Very sad I won’t be back

It's a second time I ordered in this place with Uber and I always got missing items. The first time I brought back the bag and showned them but they said I need to call the Uber call center to claim a refund, but the bag was closed with seal so it was from the preparation not during transport the Item was missing. The second time was last Sunday the same thing and I gave up, I will never call ordered via delivery in this place again.

The worst meal ever in my life ! Mashed potato is 6 nuggets from a machine..tiny tiny portions..overpriced cold rubbish

First of all there should be a zero star rating on this site. KFC North harbour would easily qualify for it. Tonight we had a fairly large order for six delivered to our home. Two items missing. Chips and popcorn chiicken. How can you forget to bring chips ??! How dumb can whoever prepared the order be ? It is not the first time either. Out of the last ten orders placed, eigth were wrong. Ring up to sort it out ? What good would this be? Eat what you did get and wait for the rest to turn up half hour later ? I don't think so. If you are the franchisee for this branch I will let you know that you are a disgrace to the fast food industry! Go and get another job somewhere else, because you are not meant to do this one !

Unprofessional staff all just shouting and throwing things, I got my burger and it literally wasn’t even wrapped like someone dropped it on the floor the gravy has been sooooo sh*t for ages it’s literally runny and oily just vile! Gosport is actually how north harbour used to be and north harbour is how Gosport was when it opened lol... I’m cringing at myself doing a review on a kfc but it’s the truth!!

Las papas fritas estaban frías, y el resto se enfrió en 5 minutos debido al aire acondicionado que lo hacía como el Ártico.La única ventaja fue que el chico que me atendió fue realmente amable.

Mis amigos y yo conseguimos un cubo de pollo y, mientras lo comíamos, notamos que había sangre en el fondo del cubo, llamamos a la tienda y hablamos con un hombre que dijo que era el gerente del restaurante y que creía que se llamaba Barry o algo así. ¿como eso? fue tan grosero que parecía que no le importaba que la comida nunca fuera tan mala.Decidí llevarlo a su oficina central ya que ese hombre no debería ser gerente de ninguna tienda, el personal es excelente, es solo que el gerente, para ser honesto, no volverá y les dije a mis amigos y familiares lo malo que era es.

Entré y obviamente estaba muy ocupado. Mucho personal de entrega esperando. Nuestro pedido fue tomado y en total, desde que ingresamos hasta que recibimos nuestra comida, fue de menos de 25 minutos. No es un problema para nosotros, pero observamos que algunos clientes se inquietan.Las mesas y los pisos estaban desordenados con restos de comida y bebidas derramadas.Se requiere más personal.Sin embargo, la comida (¡nuestro primer KFC durante 15 años!) Fue agradable.

I had a order delivered the food was stone cold. The order should have included a 1.5lt bottle of drink but a 300ml can was delivered instead and was still charged full price.

Only got part of my order. Was in a rush as running late so didn't check. I know it was a busier period at lunch time but staff seemed to be uninterested when I called later. No excuse for bad service.

Visited this restaurant early afternoon, and spoke to a Female Staff Member on the Shop floor just in front of counter. OMG! Attitude was appalling, no wonder the Restaurant was empty. I'll stick to the City KFC's from now on.

Tengo que decir que este es el mejor KFC que he sido también. Todo el restaurante estaba impecable y agradable y fresco. Los asientos para discapacitados designados era perfecto. El personal era educado y servicial y en realidad nos ahorramos dinero! La comida era fresca y caliente. Era muy sabroso y agradable. Muy recomendable.

Uno de los impulsos más lentos que se pueda imaginar. Una larga y lenta cola. Cuando en la escotilla de servicio, el personal era tan lento que era obvio de dónde venía la cola. Además de eso, las bebidas derramadas. KFC no tiene comida disponible para los vegetarianos, así que no quiero ir a mi familia si quiero comer. Solo fui cuando mi hijo y mi hija tenían hambre. Terrible.

I ordered a strawberry sundae for my 18 month old daughter and it wasn’t until I tried some that I realised that it had infact gone off. I asked my other half to try some as I am heavily pregnant and know my taste buds are funny at the moment. However when he tried some he said the same thing as me. Anyway, I took the ice cream up to the till and told them that it had gone off. The lady snatched it out my hand and chucked me another one. I tried it there and then and it tasted exactly the same, so I spoke to another lady who told me I was lying and everything was made fresh that morning. Bearing in mind that we ordered at 12:16pm. We weren’t offered our money back or were we offered to swap for something else. Not even an apology!!

The kfc was full of rubbish all bins weren’t just overflowing they were piled high almost every table had rubbish on it was or was dirty .the toilet was filthy and when I approached the manager he said what do you want clean restaurant or food ?very very poor management people were complaining from all angles absolutely the worst kfc and a fool for a manager.wake up kfc I know these are franchises but they are ruining your good name .sort it out

Visité KFC el 3 de agosto a las 12. 30 Hora del almuerzo, uno de mis nietos tiene aparatos ortopédicos y, como no puede pedir azúcar, pidió una botella de agua y no tenían 30 grados afuera. cuando su Nan le pedí una taza de té y me dijeron que no tenían leche, mi amiga estaba con muletas y fue a visitar el baño de señoras con discapacidad pero no podían usarlo, ya que estaba sucio, vamos a KFC.

No había tenido a KFC por un tiempo y cuando estaba apareciendo en Tesco para conseguir algunas cosas, me dio la excusa de tener un KFC también.

Entonces, aparte de no pagar su factura de logística para no tener nada en el menú, lo siento, señor, ¡nos quedamos sin pollo! ! ¡Qué! ¿Qué más crees que podrías vender en su lugar chicos? ?

Sin café, sin jugo de naranja, sin maíz. ¿Cuál es el punto de entrar aquí? Hay un Tescos muy cerca. No pudieron entrar y comprar un poco de café y jugo. Al menos eso los mantendría en marcha hasta su próxima entrega. Pollo y patatas fritas estaban bien, siempre que no quieras nada más.

Once again we got home with our takeaway with items missing..... This is the third time this has happened...... Won’t be giving them another chance!!!

Well at least they had chicken that was about all they had! All that snow and no hot drinks at all.. no sauces .. had to pay for a dip .. no gravy ... no large cups! The list goes on.. no apology.. won't be back there!

Visited the KFC on Binnacle Way to get a Milk Bar Krushems but I was told that there was no milk. I didn't realise that KFC were having a milk problem as well as a chicken epidemic.

This restaurant really lets KFC down! The location is good (near Tesco) hence the reason we stopped here. The chips with our order were so cold that we had to take them back and by the time they were replaced the rest of the meal was cold! The place was so filthy and although there were only a few customers in, tables were messy, floors were sticky, the car park was strewn with litter. The food (chicken burger and boneless chicken) were not really tasty. We left feeling hungry and headed back to Tesco and bought sandwiches!

We have been put off KFC after some terrible experiences with our local branch (not this one). Visited here via the drive thru. Quick and efficient service. The order was correct and everything was fresh and tasted ok. Made a nice change.

I usually use the drive though, but after 3 times getting home with items missing from order, I decided to eat in, the staff behind counter were very slow, not friendly and couldn't be bothered attitude.

This KFC was a few minutes stroll from my hotel and went there for a late lunch around 4pm . It was quiet with about 6 customers in the seating area. Overall the staff were very good . While I struggled to decide on what I should eat, the member of staff gave a good run down on what I could have and he wasn't try to sell me me anything expensive but giving a honest overview of what was available.

Este local es el mejor de esta cadena en la zona de Portsmouth. Amplio aparcamiento gratuito, y la comida es siempre recién preparada y caliente. Buena variedad para escoger, todo a precios razonables. El outlet ha sido completamente renovado y ahora es muy inteligente

Servicio lento, grandes colas, llegar a frente de cola para averiguar no mini filetes de pollo. Lugar estaba descuidado y sucio. Tal vez escaso.

No había un KFC durante mucho tiempo, pero nos apetecía uno hoy. Restaurante muy limpio. Personal muy amable y servicial. Estupenda comida. Qué más puedo decir!

Had a midday snack here. Felt a bit rough by 7 pm and spent the rest of the night- and all of next day- chatting to the toilet!!Whilst one can't categorically say it was poor hygiene, undercooked chicken or whatever I can say it was all I'd eaten that day So whilst it is undeniably delicious I for one will be avoiding!

My friends and I went to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Or - that was our plan for this evening. Due to lack of communication between my group (six mature men) and the staff at the unnamed place, we was informed 10.04 pm that the kitchen was closed! Despite that we had been in the restaurant for a while consuming/spending a lot of £'s on various brands of beers and drinks that we foreigners see as a must in english establishments. Well, tge kitchen could not serve and the staff did not care (not even for the tip that we allways leave and would have).Well, we had to get something to eat and used Tripadvisor to guide us to food. Whatever food. Just something to struggle our bellies. Pizzahut closed! Then we walked further down the road and tried the doors at KFC! Open!For the first time in years I went into a KFC. As the only customers, we were served instantly with loads of chicken and fries. Since we all were novises at this field wr ended all up with large buckets with fried birds. And - we all found the meal(s) both tasty and a great end of our workingday.A lot of tip was left.Staff very friendly, serviceminded and the KFC Restaurant was clean. Come back next time in area?Well. We will not visit the unnamed restaurant next time as we agreed not to care for them eighter. There's allways some fried chicken in a bucket close to our hotel.

Yet again our order was wrong, Although it was given in a clear, loud enough and detached way, what we got was not what we ordered! Some of the staff truly seems to struggle with the English language and, without being prejudiced, this is entirely down to the fact that they are not native to these shores. I don't mind where they come from, as long as my order is correct! If you are the franchisee for this business, I suggest you sort this one out. Your competition is within spitting distance and this should be enough to sharpen your outlook on the matter!

The slower fast food restaurant I've ever been to! Practically every table is dirty, if you want lunch, order the day before

Not had a KFC in a while so came for lunch after portchester gala. Had a refit in here since the last time I was here and what a brilliant job. So much more up to date and clean.Food order taken quickly and a fair price.The food tasted great and was nice and hot. Last time we came we got home to find our side of beans were missing so when we got to the car this time a quick check in the bag only to find the ice cream wasn't there. Popped back in and the staff were very apologetic and got our ice cream very quickly.All in all a great lunch but if your going for take away then check the bag first to make sure everything is there

Had a fantastic meal here. It was fast and fresh. I saw the manager helping the staff get the meals ready which was great to see. I'll be going back here again. It beats McDonald's hands down!!!!

I used to like KFC but was disappointed with my visit to this restaurant maybe next time they will get it right...

The food and service were fine-I enjoyed the chicken burger. However the place needs attention to cleaning -it was very much in need of attention - it seemed nobody actually cared. The door was left open and the place was cold!

We tend to use the "Drive Thru" rather than park and go in. On several occasions lately we found the orders either short or just wrong. It means going back, parking and joining the queue once more. It is a real pain. Things always get put right, but this is hassle! There seems to be a fairly large number of foreign nationals working there. Whether the orders are misunderstood or they are working their socks off under a lot of pressure is something we cannot comment on. We just want what we ordered and not have to go back! Checking the bag as it is handed over will now become part of the routine for us from now on! The guys in the cars behind us will just have to wait a bit longer! We suggest you do the same!

The drive through is very efficient.The staff are friendly and helpful.The food is the same wherever you buy but I do think the staff here are amongst the most friendly.

Visited last night, around 8.30pm. Big queues and one server who couldn't quite get to grips with the till. She was however, polite. Eventually got served, and having ordered pretty standard stuff, still had to wait around for our order. When we eventually got our food, and having had to remind them we ordered four pieces of chicken, not the two that were served, it was cold, soggy, greasy, and nothing like you expect from the hype. Tinny muzak playing, air con on cold, cracked lampshades and the general atmosphere and comfort of a bus station toilet. If KFC was new to the UK today, with this standard, they'd be bust by Christmas. Never again!

On Sunday at 8.15pm we decided to pop into KFC on our way home from a busy day out. We are not normally ones to complain but the sight I saw when entering was unbelievable. Almost every table had left over food, chicken bones, empty drinks cups, generally mess. At first I thought "why do people leave the tables in such a mess" but soon discovered the bins were full and over spilling. The place was empty (no customers) so we couldn't understand why the place was so disgusting and dirty. We were so hungry that we still decided to order and find a table which looked clean. It still took another 20mins for someone to start cleaning and they hadn't finished by the time we had finished our food but at least the bin was empty for us to dispose of our rubbish. I would also like to add this isn't the first time I've seen KFC like this.... It makes me rethink my visit here in the future.

Stopped here after Portchester gala for lunch, a 10piece bucket with only one chicken leg was a bit of a disappointment. The other chicken bits were all a fair size though. All in all a average meal for a KFC .Served quickly and unlike last visit where our side orders were not packed all was present and correct.

Really nice server and the food was perfect. Better food than usually other local KFC and served with a smile.

I went here twice. On both occasions the staff spoke very poor English making communication difficult. The food preparation was slap dash and rather messy, below what I would have normally expected from this brand.

This fast food restaurant is anything but fast. Visited at 14.15 pm today. No chicken on the bone ready at all. The staff don't seem to know what they are doing, they advised a long queue of customers 'there would be a wait while the chicken is cooked', with that customers left in droves; my family included.

I visited this KFC branch in mid-March 2015 with some friends. In my opinion KFC has rather gone down hill in recent years/months and this branch was no different. Whilst still good value for money, the portion sizes have shrunk considerably, the chicken is greasier than ever before and the seating area in the restaurant just isn't clean.

I paid £9.96 for a variety meal and 2 mini filet burgers, I specifically asked for no drumsticks or legs. I got 2 thighs and a drumstick. I went through the drive through so did not check until I got home. I called KFC and they offered me 20% discount on my next visit. After what I received I knew I would not go back to claim my discount. I did not even get a apology for cold chips, wrong meat that looked like it had, had a fight with a hammer, cold messy mini filets and the chicken wings from another mother !! Is that why you can not call it "Kentucky Fried CHICKEN " no more ? Because it isn't. I said I would write on here and there was no care or concern. And that goes for every aspect of my visit today ! Never again

On the way home from Portsmouth, stopped at the KFC. Good service from the staff, meal was good and hot "Pulled Chicken Burger". Restaurant was clean and welcoming, would go again.

Stayed at Premier Inn across the road and popped over for tea. Food was hot and fresh. Had variety meal and the pieces of chicken were large and yummy. Husband had Tower meal, also good.

KFC chicken quality varies across the country - this was really well cooked - go for the bargain bucket and add on a cheap bottle of coke for a sinfully, calorie full ,meal - shared with friends

The intercom that has been broken for the last 4 years is now suddenly working. There is no sign to say it's now working and the member of staff with a dirty uniform, that is taking orders via intercom argued and told me to go back round without an apology....instead of just simply taking my order. I obviously didn't go back round and am never going back. Disgusting customer service. I drove away feeling unappreciated after many years of loyalty. But, I know that 'one member' of staff will eventually drag the place down to the ground and I now couldn't care any less.

It was late and I had my son with me, so I took a detour off the M27 on the way home. knowing that there was a KFC here.It seems we arrived on a day that all the staff were very inexperienced because I had to repeat my order 3 times and the server didn't not only not seem to know the menu but also couldn't find the correct item on the till because it took several minutes to enter.We both ordered the 'Pulled Chicken Ultimate Burger Meal' which had about 2 teaspoons of pulled chicken with a chicken fillet cut in half in a standard sesame bun and not the Brioche bun as advertised, oh and most of the salad in the box.I couldn't be bothered to go back and complain and then wait even longer to just accepted it.I won't be coming back to this outlet again and probably won't bother with another KFC for quite some time.

I visited this branch of KFC on 16th August 2014. The staff were mostly young people and were very busy. The staff were very friendly and I saw them helping a French couple with limited English. The nice staff are let down by the food! The food was luke warm and greasy. The seats were not at all comfortable and the atmosphere was not at all pleasant.

I would like to open up with saying that I have been a fan of KFC for many years and have enjoyed munching my way through buckets of chicken on a regular basis. I would also like to state that I am not one to complain but in this instance feel that as a company as a whole this particular branch has reflected so badly on customer service, attitude and ability to do the job efficiently (my blood is boiling). Please allow me to walk you through my experience which has left me (and my girlfriend) never wanting the KFC experience ever again.We walked in and it was empty (should have took the warning signs) and was immediately greeted by swearing coming from the person who was presumably cooking the food in the kitchen, now nothing screams professionalism in the quite the same way. Still we were hungry so waited to be served and in the meantime the customer before us had changed his chips as they were cold and also changed his burger as they couldn't understand the words "no lettuce please". Our food was placed on a cold side for 5 minutes whilst the burgers were being cooked and when the attendant asked for an update the person in the kitchen screamed back with a vile attitude. Anyway after the burgers were cooked and we were given the cold KFC order (with no bags/cup holders/straws) we walked to the car and I managed to get in the passenger seat by placing the food on driver seat to avoid spillages, after settling the drinks in the glove box cup holders then pulled the two boxes on my lap for secure transportation. My girlfriend got in the car and noticed sauce all over my legs, it turns out it was bean juice which had exploded over the entire contents of the meal/box and of course now my trousers and the car seat to boot are covered in sticky bean juice. Due to the amount of beans everywhere I refuse to believe that this happened on the walk back to the car in fact so sure that it was due to the lid not being on correctly in the first place that I would swear on my daughter’s life to this effect. I didn't go back in the store at this point as to be honest I didn't want anything else to mar the experience any further and knew I would get the "you obviously tipped it on the way out the door" attitude from the less than helpful staff.In my current state of mind I am feeling pretty dammed angry about the poor customer service, lack of professionalism, now I have to clean the car/wash my jeans and the food was cold (Pepsi flat) and most of which ended up going in the bin which proved to be a waste of 2x big daddy meals (both with extra hot wings) so ended up spending 14 pound which is quite a substantial amount of money for a carry out service and expect better from something that has always been a premium product.In summary avoid like the plague, go to another branch where they understand manners and have the intelligence to put a lid on a bean pot correctly. If I could score any lower (in the minuses) then believe me I would.

Kfc is as usual quite busy. It is I suppose good for what is does. I found the staff shout and really can't be bothered - but then I should expect nothing else from fast food. Ate in - but had to push other people's leftovers out of the way as no one was cleaning tables. Only visit when very hungry and can't be bother ed to wait and eat elsewhere.
