Use to be a very very good KFC but the last month or two is has absolutely gone off the rails. The stuff behind the counter who serve the food are so so rude it’s unbelievable ( it’s always the same 2 ) they are always screaming and shouting just throws the food in your bag with no care what so ever and if you eat in it’s the same just chucks it on the tray. They can’t even be bothered to say thank you or even say hello or anything down them lines. The food it self is okay it’s just the same 2 members of stuff who are behind the counter and it’s always the same 2 behind there! Terrible service

Waited 35 mins in driver throw for them to deal with 1 person get to order point told to wait.waited 10 mins while hearing staff swear and moan about people as didn't turn head sets off.to then be told order at window and then didn't have much of my order and still wanted me to pay when said sorry I'm going else where due to their service to be told oh well.

Literally the worst place, rubbish everywhere about 10 staff and no customers but they just talking to themselves instead of taking order, seemed to be annoyed at us because they ran out of the drink we wanted and we just said replace it, acted like we was a burden to them Mouse and rat traps all around outside of building, stinks of oil that’s been used all day every time you walk past, food was the worst I ever had couldn’t even eat it, how is this place even still open?

Got some hot wings. Literally sh*t myself within 3hours of eating, liquid burning dioreah. Ret@rds in their dont know about the 4hour max hotplate life, they dont know about probing for temperatures and they defo dnt know how to destinguish if chicken has been gone off for a while. Very very poor hygene standards. At the drive thru u can see inside that non of them give a f##k. Coffee machine always off because there too lazy to press an extra button. If Portsmouth gpt wiped out it would defo be a plus but for this place to go first is defo whats needed.

visited today at 4.20pm when the diner wasn't busy. the order included hot wings and whilst eating them we found a dark brown thick curly hair attached to one of the wings! my wife took the wing to the service counter showing them what honestly looked like a pubic hair on the chicken. the crew member gave a simple 'sorry' and offered to replace the wing. the hair had put her off the wings and so she simply wanted to point out the lapse in the diners hygiene. after a further 10 minutes we finished the remainder of our order. with such an important food hygiene lapse we thought this would have been immediately followed up by a manager visit to our table but nobody bothered. international American corporations built their names on customer service and a 5* food rating should mean something, right?

I can't beleive that when you clearly order 10pcs of chicken you only receive 6pcs ! Family over for Christmas and 5 of us were planning on sharing the family feast as our tradition. But we had to send one of us out to get more as this is what arrived . Wish KFC would start to quality check and count the pieces correctly.

Went to the drive through as I was fed up getting deliveries that miss half of what I ordered. We'll, at least I got all of what I ordered, plus some extras. But It was poor. Cold. Soggy. A burger that looked like it had been made by someone social distancing from food. How hard is it to get the lettuce inside the bun? Did they throw it from the other side if the room? The best bit of the meal was the Fanta because its really hard to mess that up. Clearly staff and management here just don't care. The only excuse there could be for going here would be if you were very drunk.

Little to say beyond very poor food, dreadful toilet area, uncleaned tables and a worrying sticky floor.

Each time via drive thru - cold fries, luke warm chicken - missing items. Would be better to close it an open a Burger King

Visited for a quick bit of lunch and to get out of the rain whilst my car was being MOT'ed. Horrified by the condition of the restaurant. There was food waste on the tables and floor and there was no members of staff cleaning surfaces. No soap in the gents toilets and hand dryer not working. Considering the current climate you would of thought cleanliness and hygiene would be highly important however here it is certainly not. You would certainly be putting yourself at risk visiting here. Truly disgusted!

Every time i have a Had something missing this time 2 items its so slack its cold will never be ordering again

Went through drive through. Handed chip and pin machine to pay and it was soared in a layer of grease, food crumbs and ingrained dirt. Absolutely vile. I asked the woman in the drive through if maybe she could give the machine a wipe for everyone’s sales (I put in my pin through my coat sleeve) her response was “whatever” if that’s what the machine is like imagine what the hand hygiene is like for food. We threw it in the bin in the car park and went elsewhere. Avoid avoid avoid

Haven't been to a KFC in many a year so made a trip. Ordered a Tower burger meal. A lot of people behind the counter but only one actually taking orders! Never use the stupid menu screens. Prefer to speak to someone, old school. Tasty, seemed a bit small and most unimpressed with the regular fries. My youngest granddaughter would complain at the amount of them as not many at all. Drink. Wet and cold as required. Price was okay, just didn't feel enough was offered. Golden arches have nothing to fear.

I had to come into this KFC only because I had a toddler desperate for a wee!I can honestly say I've never seen such filth in a food establishment.Both toilets were absolutely disgusting. Hard to believe females would leave them like it but harder still to believe the management would allow it to be this bad.The floor on the way to the ladies was filthy too...covered in grime and food.Where is the council to check up on hygiene?Using the ladies was bad enough..thank goodness we weren't unfortunate to eat here.

My wife loves a KFC and she pretty much has to force the family to come here, every time we come here the whole experience leaves me feeling angry. I’m not exaggerating when I say we have never had a correct order from here, the staff don’t put any condiments in on the drive thru, I don’t care about the service in places like this but at least get the food right and make it hot. The drive thru is dirty and the waits are long. Considering there’s a McDonald’s on your doorstep you would have thought they’d learnt but this place has been awful for as long as I can remember.

From no sauces to wipes, to incompetent staff, to a whole days worth of upset stomachs. Never again... will I be purchasing from Fratton's KFC. Absolute disgrace.

Beans where over an hour past there sell by date No gravy. No dipping pot on the boneless banquet Food cold. Had to go back for the forgotten food so food disgusting by the time we actually got our order!

Fui a este restaurante hoy; entró como unidad no funciona. Una vez en la puerta usó autoservicio para ordenar, ¡entonces OMG! ! ! El restaurante era una porquería absoluta! Todas las mesas estaban sucias y cubiertas de comida, los contenedores se desbordaban; Había basura por todo el piso y debajo de las mesas. Cuando pedí hablar con el gerente, el joven con el que hablé llamó al gerente. Cuando le dije que el lugar estaba sucio, me miró como un pedazo de tierra y gritó por la escotilla a uno de los muchachos para salir y limpiar, ¡y eso fue todo! Solo me di la vuelta. Mirarlo tal como está te hace preguntarte cómo demonios es la parte de la cocina. Como alguien que trabaja en la industria alimentaria, donde yo trabajo, limpiamos constantemente. ¡Esta persona que se hace llamar gerente (en el turno del domingo) no está en condiciones de hacer el trabajo! También puedo sugerirle que vaya a un curso de servicio al cliente, ya que obviamente no tiene ni idea. Para colmo, cuando llegué a casa me faltaba la comida. , además de la otra comida que obtuve parecía horrible. . No me molesté en volver, ¡simplemente no podía comer nada desde allí! ¡KFC lo resuelve o los inspectores de salud lo visitarán!

Intenté conducir hoy, solo había un auto en frente. Pedí 3 piezas de pollo y papas pequeñas. El chico intentó hablar inglés y dijo algo, así que repetí mi orden, luego dijo algo que sonaba como tiras, así que lo repetí por tercera vez. Por suerte tomé el recibo. Tengo el síndrome de sjorgrens y ya no puedo comer chile, lo has adivinado. Cuando llegué a casa descubrí que no había papas fritas y una tina de plástico con algo de chile. Regresé y fui al lado de la tienda. Lo cambiaron y terminé con papas fritas y pollo frío y me cobraron de más. El arruinó mi recibo, mmm, me pregunto por qué. Había estado aquí dos veces antes, no hay problema, pero había usado el asiento en el lado de la tienda. Siempre guarde sus recibos.

Visité después del trabajo un viernes por la noche. Estaba bastante ocupado, así que esperaba tomar un poco más de tiempo de lo habitual, pero no esperaba que tomara 1 hora. Es absurdo lo mal organizado que estaba. Prioridad dada a los pedidos de Deliveroo, el personal no tenía ningún sentido de urgencia para expulsar los pedidos. Simplemente lo hacía como si tuvieran todo el día para hacerlo. Cuando finalmente recibí mi pedido después de una hora, el chico comenzó a servir mi bebida, luego se alejó y comenzó a tomar más pedidos. Me llevó unos 5 minutos avisar a otro miembro del personal para que terminara de hacer mi pedido y pudiera abandonar el lugar. Llego a casa y, naturalmente, el orden estaba equivocado. Uno pensaría que todo ese tiempo extra que tomaron al menos podría hacer el pedido correctamente. No era que tuvieran poco personal, sino que estaban tan mal organizados. No sé dónde demonios estaba el gerente, pero quien estaba a cargo necesita volver a capacitar sobre cómo administrar o encontrar una nueva profesión porque era simplemente incompetencia por parte de los gerentes

Hemos tenido 3 visitas a la unidad a través de los últimos meses. Cada vez que hemos tenido nuestros lados y saltos perdidos a pesar de ser cobrados por ellos. Una vez tuvimos nuestra comida y nos dijeron que nos estacionáramos esperando el helado - 10 minutos más tarde con nuestra comida enfriándose, solo pedí un reembolso por el helado. ¡Me dijeron que tendría que esperar otros diez minutos para que el gerente lo autorizara! Dije que está bien que me des comida fresca, pero no pudieron hacer eso. Me acabo de ir al final.

We visited on a Bank Holiday Monday evening. It didn't seem that busy with customers, but the restaurant was filthy. The bins were full with bags and boxes piled up on top, and there were at least 4 tables that were literally piled with more rubbish. The floor was covered in bits of food.

Tried the bucket deal whilst the chicken was ok the fries were cold and not very nice , there again it’s fast food so don’t expect top eating

Took my family for a meal out, the kids chose kfc. Wow, is all I can say!! Possibly the worst meal I've ever ever had, the queue was massive. The staff didn't know what they were doing. Food come out and chips we're soggy and cold. My 2 mini fillet burgers came out as wraps. The fried chicken was dry and tasteless, so all in all will not be going back to kfc ever ever again...

Very bad management, understaffed, slow service, food is cold, toaster was broken for few months so couldn’t order wraps, this place is just always a huge disappointment. Worst KFC I been to!

Only 2 people serving. Waited 29 minutes to get food at 2pm on a Sunday. Ridiculous. Someone sent food back as it was so cold from waiting too long

Not even that busy, 8pm in a Friday, over half hour for fast food. We had two orders, first was within 3 minutes, then the long wait. Coke was flat, chicken was warm at best, certainly not hot and fresh. They eventually closed before 9pm, presumably to stop any more complaints.

Every time I’ve ordered from this kfc they are out of gravy, literally every time!! and let’s be honest, kfc chips are grim without it. Ordered from deliveroo today and surprisingly gravy was available, obvs well excited, paid for gravy as extras n when the food comes there’s no gravy in sight just one bag of extra chips not sure why it said gravy was available n why nobody made contact to say it wasn’t, instead charging us for it anyway n just chucking another bag of cold grim chips in instead. Sad

The worst KFC I have ever been in! Came up to Portsmouth late Friday evening to move my son into Student digs. Wanted to find somewhere quick to eat as it was getting late and I had my young daughter with me too.

Had a bargain bucket for 3 which consisted of 2 drumsticks 2 wings and two small bits of chicken . I would advise people to check the bucket before you leave. Sadly we didn’t

Great position opposite Ibus Budget and filled the spot well we usually visit every time there quick and friendly service , also tables clean

Tuve una "operación" durante el parto (3 de casi 4 años de edad) que afectaron mis nervios, por lo que ir al retrete puede ser desalentador a veces debido a la fuerza muscular. utilicé el retrete cuando llegué (en bicicleta, sudoroso con el clima. Llevaba un abrigo impermeable de vela, quiero estar ordenado cuando como) pedí una comida, me di cuenta de que faltaba un arete, así que al salir, limpié mi desorden de comida, volví para las mujeres, utilicé loo y me lavaron. moviendo el contenedor de mujeres al lado del retrete, encontré una jeringa rosada sin tapa que parecía usada (envolviendo el tejido evitando el contacto) pregunté por el gerente y cuando se lo mostré; se negó a tratar con mi complante; 2 chicas jóvenes usaron el otro retrete a mi lado que pudieron levantar la aguja, pero aun así el gerente incluso se negó a deshacerse de él, así que el cliente se quedó con el riesgo de meterial, muy decepcionado y como madre, esto es un comportamiento apabullante. ni siquiera podía sacarlo, así que está lejos de los clientes y los niños. Hablé con unas pocas madres afuera y se comenta que sirviendo una línea de abrazo y dejándome esperar (me olvidé) luego tengo que pedir otra vez a un gerente, no hubo ningún esfuerzo o estado de alerta para esto. todo lo que deberían de hacer era tomar la denuncia y dejar la aguja tan insultada como para ser ignorada

Decente suficiente KFC nada espectacular, pero nada malo tampoco. El servicio es bueno y es bastante rápido por qué la comida no está mal. El intercambio de pan sin hueso es muy bueno y es algo que recomendaría. Como extra, las alas calientes son bastante decentes. Las papas fritas son definitivamente una mejora en los últimos tiempos también. El restaurante siempre está ocupado y en su mayoría está limpio, pero un pequeño gemido es que quizás los contenedores se puedan vaciar un poco más a menudo.

Human hair in chicken wings!!! Absolutely horrendous! Luckily spotted it before eating but just so disgusting and made me feel physically sick. I will never eat KFC again and it used to be my weekly treat.

About half an hour queuing in the drive through and then when you get to the payment window the young people serving were more interested in talking to each other than acknowledging me. Eventually they did but I was then ignored whilst holding the car payment machine. (Also, it’s flipping November and it’s too cold to sit there ignored). To add insult to injury I then had to pull to the side and wait ages for my food to be cooked and brought to me. Absolutely disgusting. Avoid at all costs. Rude and slow staff, it is not fast food

I have been looking forward to the Double Down promotion for the last few weeks... So I decided to go to this particular KFC and the food preparation was horrendous, the kitchen staff where more interested in standing around and talking. Bathrooms had an awful smell and the place was generally filthy. Will never go here again and do not recommend anyone to go here again. Go to the restaurant in the commercial road of Fareham. Avoid at all cost.

It's unusual for me to leave poor reviews as when I started reviewing on TripAdvisor it was because people are quick to complain and hardly ever compliment but today I am compelled as we have had the worst experience.

KFC tastes the same wherever you go as its made to the franchise recipe, however check that you are getting what you have ordered and a smile wouldn't go amiss by the staff. most of us work long hours in our jobs and try to be the best we can be but they seem to employ the most miserable people here which just puts me off from going

Only went for a take out, ordered at the speaker, no good evening, just what do you want, drove to service window, no please or thank you, just carried on talking between each other. Very rude, customer service needs to be reviewed !!!!

Avoid eating here, the place was piled high in rubbish, bins overflowing, my food was literally thrown onto a tray and the chicken in my zinger burger still had blood in the middle, and the drink was a watery half impression of a cola drink. The duty manager stated " I don't care" and refused a refund. This resulted in my vomiting unexpectedly into my crash helmet on the motorway 20 mins later whilst at 70mph.

very juicy chicken, love it as a trea, the rice boxes, wings and the wraps, not greasy at all, would be even better if they would deliver.

The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.....yet again they got my order wrong again today. This was a drive for through meal that was collected.When you ring up it's just a case of a half hearted apologise. They don read the order back to you and didn't give me a receipt.When I rang up to complain she said what's your receipt number !!!!! What receipt.....I didn't get one. I Thought it would be in the bag with goods....nope...useless.......

I live local so every now and then come here hoping they would have improved. but no today was the same, mess everywhere, unclean tables, unhelpful staff and as usual which I get so annoyed about they never never get a order right. next time be going to another branch

Not the best place to visit when Pompey are playing at home. Extensive queues and staff rushed off their feet. Food wasn't hot and nowhere to sit. Will try again on a non match day

It's KFS so you know what you are getting food-wise. It was absolutely fine. The service was OK as well - all quite efficient. The main problem here though was the restaurant itself - it was pretty grubby - there were lots of empties around and there were quite a few items not available which isn't great. Overall, it did the job and you shouldn't expect that much from it anyway!

Staff are rude and horrible. Dropped my drink on the floor and they didn't care, none of them wanted to serve me, and when they did, they gave me the wrong food.

Orders forgot & messed up. Unprofessional & unhelpful staff. Food was cold. Don't even want to give it 1 star. Will never be returning.

Stopped here after a family day out for a takeaway. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was clean, no food left on tables and no massive queue even though it was fairly busy. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we were eating on the beach. Order was wrong! But we didn't mind as we were eating chicken anyway

KFC is a delicious, fresh, amazing restaurant that are located around the uk. As soon as you enter the doors, you can straight away smell the lovely chicken being cooked in the kitchen. If you are a vegetarian then this may not be the right place for you, but don't worry there are some other places where you can eat vegetarian chicken.

This is literally the worst KFC ever.They're always blunt and act like you've asked them to kill a child if you ask them for anything that alternates from the menu.They clearly have no proper management and just somehow manage to get through the day, leaving dirty tables, having dirty floors and not picking up after customers have the left.

Fancied a quick meal before going to bed ,first time in a KFC for about 15 years.Very busy ,all the staff seemed to be serving and no-one seemed to be clearing anything away from the tables ,from the floor from the bins etc.The menu was straightforward and easily understood ,basically chips with everything as long as it was with chicken. The food was well prepared and quick to appear ,enjoyed it although felt hungry straight away after eating.Loads of people tucking in to huge piles of chicken and chips so they must be doing something right.Reasonable price for the meal would I visit again ,maybe .

Arrived at this KFC after driving for 7 hours and booking into the hotel over the road. This place shuts to walk in diners at 10pm and my car was parked quite a distance away so I asked to be served at the Drive In window. Permission was refused as company company policy dictates you must have a car to be served. Also motorcyclists will not be served. When I questioned this policy I was told it was for security purpose as I could have entered the window and stolen money from the till. This attitude is totally unfair and wrongly stereotypes the public. I had to walk some distance to my car and join the Drive In queue where I successfully cleared security and and bought two chicken burger and chips and two teas. I then had to re-park my car agin some distance from the Ibis Budget hotel and transport the food to my hotel room. The whole farce is insulting and totally degrading. Please KFC get your act in order!

went thru drive thru with my son..after getting order we pulled over to check its all there. no spoon for sundae...try eating ice cream with your fingers!!!missing chicken from meal. went into store..filthy!! plenty of staff on but none in dining area. spoke to a staff member at counter who did not understand English..but where do we live"!! had to get someone else to come over. missing items just thrown onto counter. thanks wont be coming back. sack the manager

Visited today at 1 pm. Walked in and was confronted with overflowing bins, tables not cleared, one table in particular had fries all over it and the surrounding floor. While I was there no one attempted to clean up anything. Toilets were unclean and smelt.Staff looked miserable not one person smiled and barely made eye contact.The place seemed like no one cared, tried reaching out to customer service link was disabled.If anyone from KFC is reading this please do something about this place. Absolutely zero reason to return.

Me and my friend came here and we where disgraced to be eating to even to be seen there. To be honest it stunk and we would probably be better off eating off a rubbish dump. If you are around this area I would suggest eating at either Subway (just across the road) or Mac Donald's (which is next door to it). The food is just rank, the best thing there was the water even the soft drinks taste off. In conclusion I will never eat there again.

Staff seem very miserable when talking to customers and don't seem to bother to clear tables. Our order was given to us wrong and the first time we visited our food was stone cold. Not worth the visit.

First of all we waited in the queue to be served for over five minutes, whilst the staff stood doing nothing- not taking any orders, nor giving people their food. When we were finally served I had to repeat everything twice. After I ordered, I joined another queue to receive my order, which was another ten minutes. When I got it, the kids meal was missing the drink, corn on the cob, and fruit. Had to ask for them- got the drink, the rest never appeared. The woman in front of me went up to the counter no fewer than 4 times to inform staff of something that was missing/incorrect from her order. The restaurant was quiet- there were only about 5 customers when we arrived, yet it was filthy. Overflowing bins, food all over the floors, rubbish on tables, slippery, dangerous floors, and the toilets... there was faeces smeared all over the bowl, seat and lid of one of the lavatories, and again a wet and slippery floor. Absolutely disgusting. This was my first trip to this KFC. It will be the last. If the manager reads this, we attended on 4/1/16 at 11.55am (received food about 12.15pm). Unlean, slow, and inaccurate. Everything a restaurant shouldn't be.

This KFC i have visited twice and both times the burgers looked like been slung together the request for no Tomato was ignored on both occasions and the quality overall was poor in comparison to other KFC's - I would avoid this even if your starving, if you can find an alternative place to eat!

A Clean but chilly KFC. Food was hot but the climate cold. Fast efficient service and usual KFC standard food. Plenty of parking behind the bed shop. Note the address is actually Unit 1 Fratton Way PO4 8SL opposite the Pompey shop.

Never again will we buy such sub-standard food, it was cold and had obviously been hanging around for some time. We called customer services who informed us that they could do nothing as it was a franchise. It lives up to its name, Kentucky Fried Crap.

Annoyingly went back to this KFC last night on the way home and yet again received a cold meal with the smallest 'large' chips that looked like they had been literally thrown in with my box meal. Piri piri chicken bites were awful, both the chicken and sauce was cold! When is this place going to take note of the complaints and sort it out!!!?

I enjoyed my visit it was good and I got a reward card as well. It was a good meal hot and nice and a great change I like the fact is was near the bus stop to the front!!!

This KFC has only been open a few months so we thought we'd try the drive through and a family bucket. Unfortunately the chicken was a little greasy and had much better KFC at other places. Have been back to this one since.

The location of this KFC (Pompey Centre ) is what keeps me going back hoping it will improve, but no it's just as dreadful. I recently called them as once again items were missing from h order for once I did not empty the bag to check it all before leaving that will teach me to trust them, I was dealt with in a very offhand way and told to bring it back, the fact it was in the evening and the driver in the family had gone out by then meant it was not feasible. But there was no apology, there really could not care less about hire customers and despite frequent staff changes this has been the way they have operated since opening.

This is the worse KFC I've been too. Ordered my meal in and wished I hadn't soon as I looked round. It was very dirty and messy; the tables all had dirty trays and chicken bones on them. The zinger meal I ordered was ok not too bad but the chips I had were dry and had clearly been reheated several try times. My coke was flat and not nice at all. I like KFC but I won't be returning to this one in a hurry

Didn't get all the order but didn't realise until we got home so no point going back as rest of food would have taken too long. Called to complain & spoke to someone claiming to be the manager but turned out it wasn't - just pretending! Not interested - unable to give refund for missing food & referred us to head office. Called them & its up to the manager at the branch to agree to a refund & there is no general policy. They offered to send a voucher but hung up on us before they took our details. Premium rate number so no point calling back. Food we did get was luke warm - not sure how old the chips were, chicken coating was uncooked in places & really gristly. Looked like big bits of chicken but most of it couldn't be eaten. Did ask for actual manager of branch to call back to discuss - after 4 days I'm still waiting so obviously not interested in any kind of service. Disgraceful & will never go to KFC again.

The worst KFC in the entire world, featuring half a missing menu, terrible service, shockingly bad food, and abysmal order accuracy. When (if) they actually have what you want, it'll be warm (drinks), cold (food) and watery (gravy). Every time I go I think 'never again' but then I miss the amazing Zingers. Then I have one and remember why I swore I wouldn't return. Bloody awful place. (There's no KFC on tripadvisor for the IOW)

The service was very slow and kept waiting for a long time and the staff werent very nice but the chips were very nice.

KFC was one of my favourite fast food places till I visited this branch which is unfortunately my local. Ever since eating here I can't even look at KFC chicken. I gave this place at least 3 chances before giving up. Not only do they get the orders wrong all the time but the burgers are dry cold and messy as hell.

How can the order be always wrong. Missing things. Time you get home. No point going back. Also its drive thru. NOT drive thru and park. If staff paid attention to customers/ orders and job, instead of the xatting and messing around. Service would be better.

Was very happy with the service I received in here. I ordered all of my food and asked for some popcorn chicken to take away, they said they would leave that until I left so it was a bit warmer. Very clean tables and chairs.

Been here on several occasions and every single time I've had to return as they always manage to get it wrong! Forget to put things in the box meals, put the wrong things in the box meal, ask for a large, get given a medium... I could go on! Absolutely useless! Being a student on a subsidised budget, things like KFC or McDonald's become more of a luxury and for them to cock it up I'd much rather walk into the cascades to get a kick know will be correct! AVOID!

Close to where we were staying. Up to normal standard for Kentucky Fried Chicken establishments. not much more to say.

The slowest KFC in the city also a lottery as to whether it is right, always always check it before you leave as 9 put of 10 times you will need to return.

After a 6 hour drive from home to a ferry port we stayed at an adjacent hotel and chose to eat at the KFC as it was across the road from our hotel and we didn't want to drive anymore. At first appearance is was reasonably new. Inside, first impressions were the same, however, as we were hungry, we went straight to the counter to order and were served quite quickly, even though our assistant forgot to bring our drinks and then forgot what they were, so I pointed to the screen in front of him. We sat at a table where there was a stack of evidence from it's previous occupants, which was still there when we left 40 minutes later (see picture). During this time I noticed that rather than being placed around tables, many of the chairs were haphazardly stacked around the floor, (see picture) there was also a good deal of litter around the floor. As for the food, had we not been so tired and hungry I might have complained about the texture and temperature, it was only lukewarm. The assistant who forgot our drinks spent too much of his time talking to his mates on his mobile rather than clearing the restaurant as he should have been. Whilst we were there, no cleaning nor tidying was done by anyone, and there was sufficient staff available, they we otherwise engaged on their personal pursuits. All this occured between 8 and 9pm so no no real rush. The KFC franchise owner needs to get someone in there who cares about what they are doing to the food and their staff. I eat regularly at KFC's around my home for quick lunces whilst I am out and about working, so I am familiar with what their normal standards are, this one doesn't even get close!

I have to agree with a fellow reviewer,the place is an absolute shambles,KFC should be ashamed of the place,the tables were full of trays,food cups,no one made any attempt to clear them,the floor was covered in food,yet no one attempted to sweep it,the staff were rude and the food cold and flavourless,a disgraceful way to run a business,I will never return to the place as long as I live,the place is a disgrace.

KFC is probably one of my favourite fast food restaurants and Fratton KFC is up to the normal standard you would expect. Good and fast service. Food as order. Tasted great as usual.
