There was quite a large group of us on a very busy night, with a couple of other large groups as well as couples and foursomes, which might explain why the service wasn’t quite on point, but I had the best curry I’ve ever eaten and everyone in our party said how good the food was. Tasty and fresh and the special requests (and there were a few) were met without problem.

Ordered takeaway, missing items, phoned up told me to travel back and pick up missing items, apparently the person who served me doesn't speak English, shame!! so when i went back to get a refund, he spoke perfect English. didn't want to refund me my money, he said he could give me a beer, what an insult as i dont drink, after getting angry he refunded me my main meal. just a note Onion bhajis were burnt, lamb curry was mostly raw onions. on another note they are open to 10pm, but if you turn up after 9.30pm they will not serve you at a table, they offer only take away only

We discovered this restaurant during lockdown as it is close by and did excellent takeaway. When covid restrictions eased we dined in the restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised. The dishes are all delicious and as a special bonus most can be prepared without garlic (which I'm allergic to). Now my husband and I are regulars. Not only is the food great but the wait staff are all very nice and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend!

We found Jas by accident, running chores made us a bit hungry and a trip advisor search came with the Do Drop Inn being really close. It’s Jas now a fabulous Indian restaurant, still looking like a pub outside. It was a quick pop in so a couple of popadums, a lamb curry and a chicken and mince dish with pilau rice and garlic Nan. I can say this was one of the nicest Indian meals I’ve ever had, the sauce in the curry’s were not to oily, lovely texture and the right level of spice. Service was great and good value, I don’t give 5 circles easily and this visit deserves it. Didn’t take pictures I was to busy enjoying the food and talking with the good lady.

Had our 4th takeaway from this Restaurant on Sunday 24/01/2022, and again it was supurb. Certainly the best in the area. Well worth a visit.

We visited The Spice on 12/9/24 and were a large group. The service was superb. Very welcoming and friendly throughout. We were made to feel valued. The food was exceptional. Everyone one of our group said their dishes were great. Can't fault the place. Would happily return again.

Chips cold and hard. Seems to have declined from previous experiences. Korai sauce was so oily?! Rices both dry too.

I've never eaten inside the resrursnr but I've got lots of take aways. The food is always really tasty, really good value and comes pretty quick, even on a busy Saturday night. The staff seem very friendly on the phone. Won't go anywhere else.

Really disappointing What used to be a great restaurant just seems like a joke. We did a Deliveroo order and no poppadoms, chutney or promised discount. Seems a little amount but when you have been ripped off by about £13 and not the first time (I had forgotten why I hadn’t used them for a while and it was the same reason) it leaves a bad taste in your mouth Avoid avoid avoid
