Imran Indian Takeaway in Kirklees

Heard great things about this place so had to try it , they do a creamy rogan josh that sounded like one paddock bismilah did before it closed so I ordered that and a mixed karai both were delicious and expertly spiced the meat samosas are good as is the chicken and lamb tikka one minor issue was the onion bhaji was a little dry but the rest more than made up for it. For me believe the hype you will not be disappointed, great staff and atmosphere make sure you order early as they are super busy

Best curry in Huddersfield by a mile. Worth a trip to go and get. Service is amazing a fantastic bunch of staff. Thankyou for once again making such beautiful food lamb khari ghosht is amazeballs

The curries are incredibly flavourful and the meats are always tender. I appreciate the consistency - the dishes are always the same and so incredibly tasty. The samosas make a great starter and we really enjoy the butter chicken and Karahi Murgh curries.

Average. Ordered lamb khari and chicken tikka marsala with naan and rice. Both dishes really salty and very oily. Naan was overdone so quite hard. Rice was nice. Not bad but didn't meet the hype on our first visit but will try again.

Literally the best curry in huddersfield. What ever I get is always made to perfection and taste better than anywhere else I've eaten. It's nice to have a place you can rely on.

The special Korma was the best I've had the mushroom fried rice was great and fresh. Only down point was the poppadoms were a bit soft. On the whole I was impressed with the food.

Portions are big and the quality's first rate. Samosas were brilliant.

We made an order for 8 people last night over the phone around 5:30 the guy on the phone was extremely rude, the tone he used was appalling, we was told the order would be ready for 7pm, on arrival to collect they only just started to prepare the food, which mean we was waiting even longer for our food. When the food was passed over in a cardboard crate to transport it back home the majority of the items where leaking which left oil all over my car seats. When we got home to then eat the food the quality and taste was disgusting, the only thing edible was the chips and rice. The food had a horrible taste and smell and for the amount of money that was paid it just wasn’t what we expected. Very unfortunate that they serve food like this. I would highly recommend not getting any of the starters or curry’s from this place as the flavours and presentation of the food wasn’t all that.

First time trying imrans, after being told about this place I had to try. The lamb was cooke to perfection just literally melted in your mouth and my partners chicken kharahi was absolutely amazing. It’s true what they say imrans is by far, the best curry takeaway I’ve ever had and I definetly will be a regular customer now.

Although a takeaway without a restaurant, The quality is extremely high with all the curries even a basic Chicken korma is packed full of flavour. When it comes to the hot curries such as Madras's and vindaloo's many takeaway struggle to find the balance between flavour and heat Imrans do this perfectly with comprising flavour or spice.

5 star quality, Food was fresh and tasty. Curry was best I have ever had. Will be calling back.

We decided to finally try a curry from Imrans after a few friends had recommended them. We were not disappointed! I had a chicken tikka and he had a chicken korma. We shared sides of rice, pishwari naan, chips and chapatis. We also had a portion of onion bajis. Everything was cooked fresh to order so although we had a bit of a wait before we could collect it was totally worth it.This place should be a restaurant so we can dine in as well! The food is restaurant quality.

As a family we have used Imrans roughly once a week and have done for nearly 10 years. Visiting family and friends always ask if they can have an Imrans. It is quite simply the best curry house we have ever used. I would particularly recommend the Karahi Murphy and the Keema Potato.

Tastiest curry house in Huddersfield. I’ve been getting curries from here for over 15 years and the quality is always excellent. All curries are freshly made and they cater very well for a gluten free diet.

I have been going to Imrans for over 20 years and I can honestly say that the food quality is second to none, try the Chicken Tarka or my wife's favorite Chiken Dansak. Great food and fantastic staff, why go anywhere else.

Friendly staff, curry always amazing, good amount of meat portion in curry. (Nothing worse and ordering a curry and you get 5 bits of chicken.) That's not the case with Imrans you get lot for your money. Its our Friday night treat. Usually a chicken tikka korma and a chicken madras or chicken tikka rogan josh is a good choice too. Kids share a chicken masala, Chapatti always cooked fresh. Chefs, other staff and kitchen all on view and it's very clean.

Always have a Methi in our order just delicious 😋 Never disappointed when we have a curry here whatever we order.

Mouth watering chicken Korma pilau and much more I would say if u were to get Imrans get the rice and the red curry mmmmmmm soooo good.My usual order is the red curry with the rice, chips,salad and coke. Without a doubt Imran’s does the best curries in Yorkshire. Tried so many different places but Imran’s wins hands down every time. Imrans is by far our favourite place to get a curry from! They taste amazing and all that work there are friendly & helpful. They don’t deliver, but any local will tell you that it’s worth the travel to pick it up yourself. They have been particularly good during the Covid-19 pandemic, allowing you to order via social media aswell as over the phone.

Best Indian takeaway around here, we wouldn’t order from anywhere else! Been ordering from Imrans for the last 11 years even when theres other Indian takeaways closer to us. They are always so busy which speaks volumes. Also the staff are extremely friendly!

This is our local Indian take away and it is a so lucky we are so close. The amount of business they are doing just shows what they prepare and provide is top quality.Yes you may have to wait when collecting especially during these tunes but wow it is worth the wait.Looking forward to the next one already, time they set up a restaurant.

Decided to have a second curry from Imram after the first one was a fail one year ago. I don’t understand all the good reviews but the place is dirty! And all three of us were really sick the next day after the take away...my Chicken Tikka was very very greasy. The naans were below average. Definitely won’t be ordering our take away from here again...

Imrans in golcar is absoultly amazing, they are very welcoming and friendly staff. Am there twice a week thats how good his food is and definitly worth travelling a few miles to come collect from hudds number 1. Everytime i order curries from Imrans his food is absoulty Amazing. Ch karai ch t masala(asian style) are the best currys i have ever had from Imrans. Imrans has been at the centre of the local community for more years than I care to remember and the quality and consistency of his wonderful curries has never been better. Imrans has a massive local following, a reward not only for his fine cuisine, but also his fantastic rapport with his customers. I feel privileged to consider Imran and his wonderful staff( must mention Irfan, the man who can) as friends not only to me but also the rest of the family. Been having takeaways from Imran's for several months now and it's always spot on. Tried just about every Indian takeaway and restaurant in Huddersfield and this takeaway is the best, by some way for me.The service is excellent, always a friendly welcome on collection.Dishes of note are the Karahi, Balti and Achari, all great and good portions.

Rude people tasteless food and up in the night throwing up

Went to Imrans after reading reviews. Ordered 2 curries with waiting time 1.5hours. lamb bhuna was average but the chicken tikka balti was not nice at all and it was overloaded with food colour and I mean it. Came home to find oil leaking all over luckily not on seat. Was very disappointed. The staff also smoking right next to the entrance with smoke coming inside. Not very good in my opinion.

Been to many places over the years. But never tasted food as good as Imrans, brilliant curries all the time. They nobody more conisistent then Imran he is truly the best cook i have ever come across. Well done👍
