Great breakfast; opening before the park at 8:30, so a civilised start to my working day some distance away. Traditional English breakfast with the food locally sourced - even the baked beans were home made! Good food served by nice people; many thanks.

Someone mentioned this place to me a few weeks back. Had a meeting near by so thought I would give it a go. Have to say it was great! Warm and friendly and the food wasn’t bad either. Love the coffee and even took cake for the client. Oh and they have freshly baked bread. Liked it, shame I’m not nearer as this would definitely become a local weekday haunt.

A surprising experience. I had the sardines on toast and it was way above my expectations

Food choices were limited and the staff were incompetent. Orders wrong, bought someone’s else’s order to our table. Forgot our coffees and then forgot to make my 3 year old sons meal. 45 minutes waiting for a jacket potato and when it arrived he was no longer interested as he’d rather get back to the park. Next visit id use Buckleburys little pop up cafe than here. Forever chasing staff who quite frankly looked blank back at me. Roxy the manager was unapologetic and rude.

The cafe atmosphere and decor promises to deliver a good experience but the price for a sandwich (£5.50) is pretty high when it’s very small sliced bread. The toasties are fine otherwise and the salads looked good. Three toasted cheese and ham sandwiches and soft drinks for lunch cost over £25 which is pretty steep when added to the cost of entry to Bucklebury Farm. The staff are friendly though.

Poor selection of food, poor quality food, poor service. The goats cheese ciabatta had little goats cheese in it and when some more was requested we were told “sorry, they’re bought in preprepared”. The cheese burger was over cooked, and the kids lunchbox was brought out bit by bit as it was ready. When I asked for ketchup I was given a kitchen squeezy bottle with some vinegary red sauce in it.Avoid. Woodys was exceptional, honesty cafe is awful.

Deafening! The barn-like qualities of this place make it very noisy when full of children. It could do with some softening measures. Food average. Had to ask for ketchup with burgers! They got the order wrong. Service okay.

Really dropped in quality since being taken over, very pretentious branding but then doesn’t deliver as it advertises. Limited menu too

The menu was very limited if they offered the breakfast menu all day I am sure they would get more business. They also need to offer other cheeses than goats cheese.

We had lunch here with my son and granddaughter. The staff are friendly enough and menu is limited, but the food was uninpirational - a hot dog is no more than that - a hot dog in a dry roll, and I had to ask for sauce, and the meat pastie was like something from a British Rail cafe 50 years ago. Perhaps we should have tried the baked potato? The prices were reasonable, but they could do better with a little imagination.

Good choice of nice food, nutritious lunch boxes for kids, well-presented and good value. Just a pity about the rest of the site

I took my grandchildren to Bucklebury Farm Park during half term and found the café experience did not compare with the excellent organisation of the Bucklebury Farm Park, which we enjoyed very much .Despite knowing it was half term and likely to be busy ,the staffing in the café was inadequate ,queues to order food were not dealt with efficiently ,the menu was not appealing to children, they ran out of jacket potatoes----an elementary mistake--- and the whole experience on an otherwise very enjoyable day was highly unsatisfactory. Buckleburey Farm Park is for children ,please reflect this in the menus---bring back chips and baked beans!

No running water yet still had the cafe open serving customers. Tables were all dirty, no working toilets, barely anything on the menu, no coffee due to water issue, paper plates, and lots of clueless staff ignoring us. Rubbish. Bring back Woody’s.

Sadly this new cafe is totally off the mark for its audience! My friends and I used to be regulars when it was Woodys but after several visits to Honesty cafe will not be going back. The staff are slow and inattentive, the menu is random and not in anyway pitched to its audience, there is no atmosphere and lots of the menu items do not have prices - which makes it very frustrating when you have to ask someone each time how much something is! This is not the type of cafe that should be in a family/child friendly location. They don’t even have French fries on the kids menu and no longer have the free tap water on displayWoodys was perfect - bring it back!

Poor slow service and the breakfasts are poor nothing like the ones woodys used to do. The menu is bizarre for a farm cafe with a poor selection of kd’s meals. With inattentive staff. At least the place isn’t so busy but I won’t be going back.

We’re regular visitors to Bucklebury Farm and are so disappointed by the Honesty Cafe. It just doesn’t feel like it’s targeting it’s menu towards those who visit the farm park, when we’ve been there hasn’t be a kids hot menu, the packed lunches have a huge chocolate cookie inside which is nice but there are ‘healthier options’ than a cookie, they’ve removed things that made the cafe easy and comfortable like being able to help yourselves to water, toys and setting at big farm house tables. I just feel that they haven’t tailored their concept to fit with the farm park visitors, it seems that it’s ethos is the priority rather than its customers. We love the farm and will keep going, but instead of all of us having a family meal during our trip, I think we’re going to stick to a packed lunch for the time being until things change.

The menu isn't clear with no prices listed for some items. Tables are being reserved which disrupts the flow to the cafe and it is now really difficult to see if there is an available table. There are definitely not enough staff in the cafe with tables left uncleared, a long queue at the till and a long wait for food. Considering their eco view point, why is the kids lunch option served in unnecessary cardboard boxes when eating in the cafe which are one use and then disposed of (hopefully recycled but still using precious resources)??? I hope that some of these concerns are teething troubles and that they will be resolved over time. We visit the farm park regularly and a cafe onsite is really helpful.

Went at about 2pm no hot food being served even though sign posted that hot food being served until 3.30. Scones were rock hard and unpleasant. The place was dirty on arrival with most of the tables left uncleared. Staff had minimal interaction with customers, even when being asked if open a simple nod was given. We also felt unwelcome when the only ones left and chairs being scrapped across floor whilst sweeping. Definitely take a packed lunch!

I’ve been here many times and the quality is consistent. The best breakfast in the area! Lunch is simple food, really well executed. Produce is fresh and high quality; staff are helpful and environment is very pleasant with bright windows and a wood burner for colder day. Love it!

As the “costa training centre” if this one ain’t good then you ain’t going to get any better. It was a massive building with beautiful views of the canal in the back areas. Two outdoor seating areas on the main town road and down in the water side. Very busy but helpful and efficient staff with lots of space inside.

I visited here in two separate occasions, one with my sister-in-law and the daughter (age 13) this visit was primarily to do the pottery painting? I can thoroughly recommend this, brilliant activity if you’re into arts and craft. The second occasion was with my husband and my dog to visit the garden centre. This we find it to be a well equipped garden centre which is not overpriced. Some lovely ideas for gifts, outdoor clothing, garden furniture, plants and a pet shop. The Garden centre is dog friendly with a few areas around which does not allow dogs. There’s quite a lot to do at this location , especially if you have a YoungFamily, butterfly, soft play, petting zoo, pottery painting etcetera. There are two cafés at this location, one of them being dog friendly with a segregated area for dogs and the owners. The café is okay, not great. We ordered a sandwich, cheese scone and a pot of tea. The sandwich took 45 minutes to make, It was a nice sandwich although 45 minutes to wait for a sandwich was a bit of a joke. In summary: dog friendly garden centre, children activities, location easy to get to, free parking and a cafe. We will revisit.

The staff work very hard, we use it regularly. You must watch out for the varying length of stay around. We tend to park in the larger car park because we are often there over two hours.
