Very helpful, looked after us when we broke down. We had an excellent lunchl.

Interesting story lucky end ! I went into the shop because I saw a ( dead ) badger animal on the main road in full peace still. I also stopped by to buy some more flowers like lavender, roses and growing seeds for my children. The shop is really nice and a little to hot over the summer time. They do allow dogs if you ask first as a responsible dog owner. They also have a nice coffee shop if you need a really good coffee are tea. I definitely visit again !

A huge thank you to staff. On my way back from Weymouth and needed to charge my phone. They were brilliant in allowing me to do that. A very well stocked garden Centre with amazing staff. Well done team and a massive thank you from me.

I felt I had to respond to your negative review. At the moment this shop is in a change over from Wyevale to Dobbies so of course everything is a little confused. But the service and staff are doing their best, and doing it very well under the circumstances. As for not getting your discount, I wonder what you bought?? I have bought quite a few things recently, and despite not being a Dobbies card holder of any sort, got all my discounts. I would suggest you give the shop a second try when things have finally been sorted.

This is the nearest garden centre to where we stay so always pop in. It's not the biggest but has a lovely range of plants, very varied. The cafe is also really lovely, with a nice outside area if you're lucky enough to be there on a sunny day.

My neighbour and I came to the garden centre for a spot of lunch after our plant shopping. The toasted sandwich and coffee were delicious but the staff attitude left a lot to be desired. We had decided to sit on the terrace but the only table available was dirty, however we sat there until another table became available. Sadly the next table was very unsteady and we ended up with coffee spilt everywhere. The staff supplied more coffee and we requested that they move another table into position or level the existing table. The staff were not happy with this request and one member of staff said “ what do you expect if you sit on the terrace”. I felt this was unnecessarily rude - customer service should be everything! When we left following enjoying our sandwich the dirty table had still not been addressed. I will continue to buy my beautiful plants here but will not frequent the restaurant again.

It's becoming a very dated garden centre, very basic cafe too. It could do with a big revamp.

Lots to choose from, the cafe is great with really nice food and coffee.

Like many garden centres, overpriced went looking for a plastic rake the prices £40 came home ordered of amazon sadly for £13 I'm very much in supporting local shops but they really should do the same for the people.

The service and food / drink at this cafe is always outstanding, drinks are always served at the perfect temperature and cutlery always exceptionally clean - thank you we will be back! :-D

A slightly smaller Dobbies but really nice to visit, lots of stock, pet store and cafe are very good

Starting to look a bit run down

Shop is great indeed my favorite Dobbies but the cafe no longer serves any breakfast options which I think is a real mistake. They used to do nice sausage baps but not any more it seems!!! I came all the way from Reading to be disappointed. Start serving them again and I'll come back!

Called in for a coffee and a midday snack. Disappointed as only had expensive "toasties" or sausage rolls or a limited range of cake. Coffee was ok. Won't be calling again.

Very lovely visit, good amount of parking and nice large spacious garden centre. Cafe is a bit small,there is seating outside too. They sell very nice sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and a variety of cakes, but no other hot food that I could tell. There are a variety of goods on offer at reasonable prices ,and a good sized pet centre. I would recommend a visit.

Everything you need from a garden centre chain

Nothing special, we only wanted one specific item. Staff ok but plant stock seemed very tired in places. Felt we could have done better elsewhere.

Good garden centre nice cafe and food. Dogs not allowed in the cafe but seating outside.

Always has what i need. And usually have coffee .toasty and cake.

Coffee shop is very nice. Staff always friendly in here and Dobbies card is great value for drinks. Garden centre a little disappointing. Not a great flower range.

Beautifully presented. Very nice plants and pretty much everything else garden related you could need. They also recycle plant pots and compost bags. Highly recommended.

I hate places like this but came anyway similar in style to most garden centers which means it sells everything from from China. Plants are often an afterthought it's more about selling Easter eggs and and junk employing staff that don't know one plant from another for customers "Instant" disposable gardens.

Good quality in the restaurant coffee and service first class

We visit regularly for a shop and coffee. Plenty of parking and accessible for wheelchair users and prams.

Just moved to the area. Visited for the first time today. Will never set foot again, which is how terrible customer service should be rewarded. . Walked to a door, door opened, walked in.Two older women employees called loudly over to me “That’s the exit NOT the entrance.” Me “Okay - where’s the entrance?” Them (ignoring my question’) “It states very clearly that this is the Exit”. Me “I heard you, where is the entrance?” Them, “urgh, you may as well come now”. Me “Bit jobsworth!” Them “calling after me as I walked in “each time you open the door it makes us cold!”.

It's a nice tidy garden centre but you need a big bank balance to even think about feeding your pets if you use the pets shop it may be high end but a reality check wouldn't go a miss with some different brands being made available

Great that it was open during pandemic. Good assortment of plants and garden tools. The Café is open serving a wide variety of coffees. Always looking forward to my free coffee with my Dobbies Club membership!

They don't sell coal next to one of the busiest canals in the UK because its bad for the environment! But they are quite happy selling plastic Christmas decorations and BBQ charcoal in December! Well done 👏

Finding the entrance from the car park was a problem as it's at the far end of the building. Good but small café.

My God, looking for house plants is a bind.....and believe it or not, we found that Dobbies, of all places, had the best selection!?! They also allow dogs, and had lots of other plants available, so the purchases were pretty much unavoidable.....boom!

Nice garden centre with plenty of variety. Shops indoors are quite varied as well. They also allow dogs throughout, including in the coffee shop.

Excellent sale on plants at the moment! Some real bargains to be had on dahlias, roses, cottage plants etc. End of summer sale on garden furniture too. Nice cafe with comfy seating as well.

Lovely Garden Centre on the A4, on our way home from Somerset called in for coffee and cake, Vegan chocolate cake was amazing 👏 😋 Staff throughout the garden centre were very nice and chatty. 50% off goods was a bonus too! Beautiful plants available

Very expensive, £2.45 for a smoothie out of a very small bottle, hardly what I'd call value for money, service wasnt great either , won't be rushing back

Only went for the cafe which was very disappointing! Outside tables were in very bad condition. Staff were unwelcoming. Wouldn’t recommend it.

The food and drink is now way too expensive for us mere mortals.

Love the pet centre so much choice and very reasonably priced. Nice selection of plants and gardening items. Also a number of items you wouldn't expect to find. Good service lovely staff. Online down fall the coffee shop couldn't make a cup of tea. Over all definitely worth a visit.

Several plants were on sale for approx £180 each. These were large indoor plants that were onsale in wyvale garden centre bicester for less than half that price.

Not as good as most other centres we have visited

We required a plant that no other Dobbies store had locally, however we rang Hungerford, and asked if they had what we wanted, however they did not, but Peter the manager went above and beyond for us and found one at Andover store, had it picked for us to collect at Hungerford. Amazing service and such a really organised Garden centre, Highly recommended it.

Went for coffee and quick look round but was very disappointed in cafe area as they had run out of China coffee cups and we had to have ours in takeaway cups.Tables full with dirty items and not many clean tables. Over all not the best

Clean & tidy with Covid precautions in place

Nice garden centre, not the biggest but can kill an hour or so. Liked the Christmas display on at the time of writing. Cafe NOT value for money.

Not as much choice as when it was Wyevales. Deliveries are unavailable on most things, including bulk items like compost and topsoil. They got rid of the hand car wash, which a lot of local people feel was a big mistake. A big mistake because the car wash probably brought in a lot of people to browse and make purchases while waiting for their car to be washed, who otherwise might have put off going until they really needed something.

Nice selection of winter plants, then had a coffee in the coffee shop, nice.
