Lovely takeaway delivered on time by Uber eats had a problem with poppadoms replaced them within half an hour fantastic food and outstanding customer service highly recommend. Can't wait to have a sit down meal again

Waited over an hour for food after ordering on Uber eats it said it was out for delivery called the restaurant and they hadn’t even started cooking it very unhelpful and rude on the phone DONT ORDER FROM HERE

This is without doubt the BEST Indian restaurant in Havant. Mo and his fantastic team will bend over backwards to give you the meal you want. The negative reviews are rubbish. Never had a bad meal here.

Ordered takeaway from them. Garlic Naan burnt black, Tikka Massala worst I have had. First and last time customer. I sent a picture of the meal to the restaraunt asking if this was acceptable. Thank god for reviews. I speak as I find, if it was good.I would say so,.it wasnt.

Very disappointed as I consider this to be the best curry house, even hung the phone up on me when I asked how long it would be

What’s a joke! I am writing my review 3 weeks after my order to describe my situation. So 3 week ago we ordered chicken korma for evening (I need to say that was our 10th order from this place). During eating korma I felt something very hard in my mouth, felt like something scratch my palate. I spat on plate everything what was in my mouth and you can’t imagine what I found - a metal wire! 1.5 inches! I was in big shock! My partner called straight to restaurant, the manager first said that we lying because we wanna just refund, my partner said that we have picture of my plate and why he thinks we are laying if this is our 10th order from this place and we like food what they cooking. He checked in system - yes we ordered many times before. He did say sorry and said we got refund for our meal in 5 working days on my account and he said to not worry it will be on my account we don’t have to do nothing. That was ok for us. After 9 days we still didn’t have any information and any refund. We called again to manager, partner remind him situation, and now he said that about refund we need to call to Just Eat not to restaurant (before he said to not doing nothing it will come in 5 days on account) . We were very angry so we called to Just Eat and guess what... we can’t get refund because it was over 72h from order! I do not recommend this place! We been regular customers for this restaurant! And I am sorry but metal wires in korma?! What’s going on kitchen in this place? What if some kid eat this meal? They could have bigger trouble! I am still thinking to call to Food Hygiene Rating because how come they have 5/5?! Do not order from this place if you wanna be still alive!

Solo para agradecer al gerente y a todo el personal de Havant Tandoori, tuvimos una fiesta de 23 y la comida salió muy caliente y deliciosa. Nos cuidaron y nada fue un problema. Gran lugar sin duda volveremos.

Usually good but tikka we ordered very watery Keema nann had little to no meat in it poppadoms was crushed and damaged so we’re the onion Bhajis

I wish I had read the recent reviews. Despite ordering from here before and delivery and food were amazing, it’s gone really bad now. The delivery estimate of 35-50 mins is way out. I waited 90 mins. The food was tasteless, containers half full and about half a small chicken breast in the curry. And 2 prawns for my starter. Also it was Luke warm. Won’t be ordering again from here for a while!

Food was 15 minutes late which I expected with it being Christmas Eve but what I didn't expect was cold food... Rice was freezing, curry was luke warm and the side dishes were also cold. Disappointed to say the least, I use this curry house alot but never again after this.

Been here 2 weeks running as lime leaf and Khans my regulars have gone downhill. 2 weeks 2 perfect meals and no pink chicken. That is all I ask from an indian.. and the rice and mint sauce is also better. And fat chips proper indian fat chips that I grew up with - superb!

Ordered a takeaway tonight just before 7pm, it turned up just now at 8.30 and it’s cold!!!!! Not happy. Phoned up and was told that they are busy! Just lost a customer sweetheart

I had to order a second time on the same evening (adding meals to keep for following week) as I forgot the main dish on the first order but it came reasonably quickly, much to the confusion of the delivery driver. I'd love it if King Prawn Rezala could be put back on the menu please.

Food was late and when it did finally arrive it was cold and the drink was warm. The tikka masala also had some sort of congealed crusty yoghurt on top that I had to scrape out. Will not be ordering again

Very clean. Staff excellent, food excellent. Didn’t have to wait too long. Would recommend for couples and groups. Prices very reasonable.

Give this place ago !!!! Absolutely fab !! LOVVVVE it !!! Polite and always worth a cheeky poppadom . Have been using this place for over a year now which is unusual for us as normally all the curries start tasting a bit bland where your taste buds have got used to them. Extremely good value for money . We have only had take aways delivered to us ( free delivery ) so one day hope to go and eat in . Always turn up hot as well. YUM !!

Hemos visitado aquí muchas veces en los últimos años y The Havant Tandoori es definitivamente nuestro indio favorito. La comida siempre es fresca, caliente y muy sabrosa. Nunca tuve una mala comida. El personal siempre es muy agradable. Inmaculadamente limpio, limpio y ordenado. Bono que puedes traer tu propio alcohol. Altamente recomendado

They used Tikka chicken in the korma sauce very disappointing ruined the meal. Always had good meals from there apart from tonight . Shame it was our go to restaurant

The food was awful. Korma was watery and the chips were not normal chips. Tasted awful. I usually go elsewhere, I'll stick with the good places next time.

We order from Havant tandoori quite often. I cannot express how amazing this restaurant is. We’ve never had a bad experience. The staff and delivery drivers are polite, helpful and just overall amazing. I could go on and on about how happy we are to order from you guys. Oh dear... The chicken tikka masala was bright red and not much else to say about it at all... The Rogan Josh was pasty yellow and the jalfrezi was disappointing. The naan bread was thick and rubbery....lamb Biryani was bland and came with a watery vegetable soup mixture... We all only managed to eat a fraction of our meals (being polite to the member who treated us all!) And the rest thrown out. All in all rather a waste of money - won't be ordering from Havant tandoori again

Ordered chicken jalfrezi, chicken tikka masala, chicken Rogan Josh and lamb biryani. Jalfrezi was average, tikka was bright red and average, Rogan Josh a pasty yellow colour and average and the biryani also average that came with a watery vegetable soup ... Naan bread was thick and rubbery... Won't order from here again

Delivery time was 1hr wait anyway and as of yet, I have been waiting 45 mins past promised delivery time.

We’ve eaten at the restaurant before and have ordered takeaway for the first time tonight, a day when Havant is gridlocked due to a burst water main on Hayling. Good food, timely delivery and I have found my go to Indian in Havant. Thank you. You have a 3 generation group of returning customers.

I ordered a bottle or Fanta and got a can of Fanta when I phoned them they were very rude and said its not there problem contact just eat as its there fault So won't be using them again or defo won't recommend them

hugely disappointing.! £4.50 for a king prawn starter that consisted of two small shrivelled up prawns. The main courses were not much better. Over thick sauces - barely ate anything. One poppadom included. Terrible value for money - would NEVER order from them again

Booked a table after a friend recommended the food here. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Best onion Bahji in Havant so far. Reasonable priced. Will be ordering a takeout next week so I hope the food is as good as it was in the restaurant.

Tuvimos un biryani y un pollo para llevar de Madras, ambos fáciles de equivocar, felizmente ambos eran realmente buenos. Un par de guarniciones y excelentes cebollas de cebolla llegaron al sub 20. Pensamos que era una excelente relación calidad-precio. Agregue el amable personal, servicio rápido para marcar todas las casillas importantes para una buena comida para llevar. El restaurante estaba ocupado el lunes por la noche, así que los lugareños también deben estar contentos.

Chicken in curry hard and chewy and the sauce was watery and tasteless

Good quality food, hot on arrival. Wait time was 1 hour but it was on a Saturday evening so was to be expected

Always have no problems with my orders, always arrive early. However I was missing a bottle of 1.5 litre diet coke and got given a can instead, but just eat refunded so it's all OK.

Great food, disappointing that they don’t include mint sauce with the onion bhaji, always thought that was standard so didn’t order any.

La primera vez que he estado aquí, aunque la mejor mitad lo había frecuentado mucho. Qué gran lugar. Restaurante pequeño pero espacioso. Comida maravillosa y buen personal de servicio. Y para colmo, puedes tomar tus propias bebidas sin descorche. Los dos somos más que suficientes para 12. 50 cada uno. No será mi última visita.

First time using this restaurant the food was really tasty spicy poppadoms are really spicy but in a nice way the portion sizes on the starters are on the small side would of like them a bit bigger delivery time was an hour but that's standard for a Saturday night at 7pm . I will be definitely be ordering from here again.

Bastante delicado cuando se trata de elegir comida para llevar india por primera vez, pero me arriesgué en este caso, y no me arrepentí. Para 2, obtienes más que suficiente para aproximadamente 20. La carne (pollo en mi caso) siempre es tierna y jugosa, y los sabores de las salsas son increíbles. Las patatas fritas se cortan pequeñas, casi en cubitos y tienen un sabor inusual, pero de buena manera, ya que por alguna razón tienen un ligero toque de cebolla, lo que realmente disfruto. El servicio es excelente, y siempre aparece antes de lo esperado. Si hay un mejor Indian Takeaway en el área, estaría muy sorprendido, pero por ahora, esta es mi elección de Indian, y lo recomiendo altamente

Excellent food , pleasantly surprised to get earlier delivery

First time I have ordered from here, or any Indian. Dissapointed food was luke warm, korma was watery, chicken looked under cooked,ordered pilau rice which I always thought was yellow with cardamom pods, this rice was white,red and green, no flavour what so ever. Would not order from here again.

Always order from here the food is lovely but today when I received my food one of the curries had spilt in the bag and most of the sauce was in the bottom of the bag and one of the others had the lid coming off and the bottom of the container was all dented up.

Ordered at 7:45 to be delivered at 8:55. At 9:10 I called to be told it was on route but then it didn’t come for another 25 mins. Seems quite late for a Sunday night when we’ve ordered at peak times before and it was early. Moving on, however, the food was absolutely delicious!! And I would order again x

Cold onion bhajis 2 burnt horrible popadoms and cold naan bread but the rice and curry was hot probably won’t bother again was the first time we have used them nothing extra like normal curry houses, no mint sauce with bhajis

Just very underwhelming and lacked any sort of flavour. Garlic naan and garlic rice barely tasted of garlic. Chicken Korma had about six pieces of chicken but did have a lot of sauce. We were recommended this to try rather than usual places so maybe just an off day

Food was delicious but we were missing a lime pickle and a mint sauce. Too small to worry about re delivery but a bit disappointing nevertheless. Delivery was 35 mins earlier than expected and although good that it was nice and hot we were not quite ready for it. Wouldn't stop us ordering again though. Food was very tasty.

Onion bhajis like bowling balls ( acutely inedible). Whole meal stone cold and full of grease. The difference between pilau rice and boiled is the price and green food colouring. Health and safety will be there shortly
