Had a great dining experience in Ghurka Kitchen, Guildford. Food was outstanding, but staff made the whole experience memorable. Really good choice, and in my opinion excellent value for money. So good, been twice in a week.

Really great food. Lots of options to choose from and big portion sizes. They make sure you get your money's worth! Also, very friendly staff.

We stopped by spontaneously and chose the To Go option. Everything was very easy and safe to transport. The selected food was excellent. We can highly recommend this restaurant. It is certainly also nice to eat on site.

Had a really yummy lunch and food service a lovely ambiance. Raj made our experience extra special. Everything was great except the washroom and toilet has common door. I was a bit disappointed when air freshener sprayed after somebody being in there and we could smell it even though we were seated far away.

Well first trip here today for family birthday. The food was the most tasty and it was beautifully presented. Lovely helpful waiter attending to everything. Every family member enjoyed the lovely meals and for me the most tasty korma I have ever had! Super place. Cannot praise enough and will return! Nepalese cuisine but all the usual Indian style dishes available and so much flavour. Fantastic evening. When they realised it was birthday celebration an ice cake was presented with candle and happy birthday music as well! Lovely

On Saturday night, my wife and I decided to have Deliveroo and I chose the restaurant…..Gurkha Kitchen it was, lots of 5 stars, good reviews what could go wrong… it was late and both of us were very hungry. Food arrived on schedule, I had set the table with candles and dimmed the lights. I served the food. Prawn madras, chicken korma with onion bahjis’ and popadoms. The onion Bahjis’ were ok, and popadoms, alright. Sadly the madras wasn’t a madras, at all. The sauce was tasteless and not full of spice, aroma and everything you’d expect from such a dish. Not good. The korma didn’t look appetising either. Its sauce looked unappealing, and had a gelatinous texture to it, lacking the smooth consistency expected in a flavorful curry. This curry was also tasteless. So overall not a good experience, and one which I won’t be doing again - Sorry.

Wonderful evening - food and service was excellent. Definitely will return! When the waiter realised that two of our party were celebrating birthdays, ice cream cakes were brought out - great evening!

The food is off the charts for flavours and freshness. A real gem. Was visiting the area, used trip advisor hoping to find a great restaurant and I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations!

Great food but needs to decide if it is a restaurant or a take away and if it is a restaurant it need more front of house staff. The food was excellent but the night we went, there were two members of staffing managing 10+ covers and a full service take away with lots of Take away drivers coming and going and it was clear they were the priority.

Just fantastic! Best far eastern food I have eaten in over 45 years since I left living in the far east. Service was first class but the food now puts this restaurant in top place for the best restaurant in Surrey. My only worry is they become too popular and I won't be able to get a table! Well done Gurkha Kitchen, I will be back very soon!

WE have had a fair few takeaways from the Gurkha Kitchen and have never been disappointed. The food is very tasty, authentic and beautifully cooked. There is a wide selection of dishes available both Nepalese and Indian, fairly priced and delivered very promptly. Friends who have have sat in have also been impressed. Recommended.

What a lovely restaurant to visit for such a superb Nepalese dining experience, Mohan and his very attentive staff are always so welcoming and worthy of praise. The Chicken Tikka starter was excellent, followed by a main course of a Lamb Sizzler dish for myself and a number 32 Chicken dish with a creamy Mint Sauce for my wife, this was followed by a sweet of Coconut Ice Cream. Although the restaurant was very busy, all of the courses were delivered in a very timely manner. A very enjoyable evening was had, "Thank you" Mohan and his team.

Mohan and the team at The Gurkha Kitchen catered for us at the Guildhall for a special celebration. They bent over backwards to ensure everything was perfect, modifying their restaurant menu into delightful Canpes and serving a Biryani main that our Indian and English families adored. I really couldn't recommend the team here enough - whether for a meal in the restaurant for 2, or a champagne reception for 60!

Had the ‘Sunday Funday’ lunch, incredible value and very tasty, friendly unhurried service. 5/5 will go again.

I went for dinner with family and friends. There is a huge choice on the menu but we decided to try the Nepalese dishes. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Good choice of wine, beer and soft drinks. Service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be returning. This restaurant deserves to be successful. Ideal if you are looking for something a little different from the usual Indian Restaurant food
