We had a lovely afternoon high tea served to us yesterday, finger sandwiches, scones with cream and jam and gorgeous little cakes. Everything was exceptional. The shop is a popular place and we can see why! Thank you ladies for looking after us!

Georgie's kitchen is always good. Delicious food, freshly made for each customer. Friendly efficient service. We go there a lot and always enjoy the experience.

Lovely place for lunch - great selection of food and drinks, friendly staff and extremely reasonably priced. Ideal place to go with kids if you’re going to a playgroup across the road at the village hall.

I popped in here for an impromptu lunch the other day whilst I was waiting for the repair shop next door to open up at 2pm. I ordered a sandwich, crisps, cookie and a drink. Service was friendly and the sandwich was good and freshly made.

Emily was fantastic! Took my dairy allergy seriously and even brought out a menu from the chef highlighting which dishes I could have and which they could make dairy free for me. Door was delicious and great atmosphere.

Nice batter on the fish, well cooked chips and decent size portions. The fish was not cooked fresh to order but didn’t taste like it had been sitting around too long. Small cod, chips and mushy peas cost £12.50. The peas seem disproportionately expensive at £2.50. Working locally I would have tried Riverside before for lunch but their lunchtime hours finish very early (before most people even start their lunch hour I would have thought.)

Very rude operator. We ultimately left. Behaviour could only be described as schemie low IQ. Very embarrassing to witness.

Good food, served fast and well. Bit put off by the weird conspiracy newspaper they had in there, the light. Had a quick flick through and was a bit put off by it saying that COVID-19 was a hoax and man-made global warming was disproven. The food was great, staff friendly and efficient. Could do with getting rid of the weird newspaper and maybe going for something like the Surrey advertiser or the metro. I can see this has been raised before in reviews. If I were the owner I'd probably have got rid of the newspaper, as it's definitely going to make me and some others think twice about coming back.

Service here was so attentive and thoughtful, I mentioned an allergy and the server went out of her way, offering to ask the chef immediately, and came out with some alternatives for me to have instead. Food came out very quickly and was delicious. The eggs benedict was fantastic, the hash browns cannot be missed, and the ice cream is genuinely excellent. Very good value!
