Absolutely amazing selection of quick snacks and meals. Lovely atmosphere and very knowledgeable staff. Great location.

It was a most delicious treat, we had a selection of mezze type dishes and enjoyed every single one. The falafels were moist and full of herbs and flavour, humous tasted nutty and wholesome , aubergine dish and salad was excellent, we had warm stuffed vine leaves which were fragrant and melted in the mouth. And we had a very warm welcome and service. We will d definitely come back!

Friendly service and delicious food. The food was excellent and surpassed my expectations. It was of a quality that you would get in a good London-based Middle Eastern restaurant, served here at cafe prices making it excellent value. The falafel, hummus, aubergine and vine leaves were all outstanding.

This was the best falafel i've had in a very long time. Someone recommended it to me as a good lunch spot and it did not disappoint in the slightest. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, and run by a friendly bunch of people. I'll be back!

The food all looks pretty but sadly its pretentious and tasted bland , I have no idea how they have got so many 5 stars , we would no go back , It also has very uncomfortable stools that need a good clean .

Well this was a find! Cancel anywhere else you’ve booked - like we did - and eat here. You won’t regret it. Great tasting home made style food at a ridiculously good price. You can pay stupid amounts more for utter rubbish - this is the real deal

Second visit here. We had the basic falafel platter. Wow! Fantastic, best falafel in Brighton and very good value as a large meal. The staff are friendly and helpful. The toilets are spotless which is unusual in a cafe. Well done, we will be back.

Delicious food and large portions. There are loads of places to go and get lunch round here but we were delighted to have chosen this place. The portions are huge and we could have easily shared a plate between two of us. For some reason none of us chose one of the many falafel dishes - something to try next time? My friend and I stopped in here for a quick bite; we loved their falafel! The tahini is light, the hummus is tasty, and the falafel itself is crispy and tastes delicious!

Crisp, moist, delicately flavoured and tender falafel. Lightly creamy tahine that coats the tongue without smothering your mouth in fat or acrid betterness. Smoothly textured houmous aromatic with garlic and lemon without scorching sulphur heat. And need I mention the chili sauce? Fruity, smoky, warming, silken. A must.

Hemos estado yendo a FilFil regularmente desde el día en que abrieron y simplemente sirve el mejor falafel que hemos probado en Inglaterra (y créeme, hemos comido MUCHOS falafel). Sin embargo, es más que eso: ensaladas, salsas, guarniciones, todo es simplemente increíble y, para colmo, es un negocio familiar encantador y siempre dan la bienvenida en el momento en que cruzas la puerta y son muy amigables para los niños. No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente, e incluso si no eres un fanático del falafel, te insto a que lo pruebes, ¡te convertirás!

Falafel encantador que por una vez no es tan seco como el desierto del Sahara. La mayoría de los lugares no pueden hacer un buen falafel, pero aquí saben cómo hacerlo. Supongo que es porque no se han apropiado culturalmente, pero tienen vínculos distintos con la región de origen de los falafels. Excelente con halloumi también.

There are not many places that do Falafel like FilFil but this place is superb. I go there often at lunchtime for their excellent Feta & Falafel wrap. Friendly and helpful staff and consistently good food and a great price.

I've been in Brighton for four months now. I have made almost weekly pilgrimages to this special little place. They have not let me down once.Everything you need for a meal in one wrap - healthy, good for you, unpretentious and delicious.The staff are great, the lay out is cosy and the atmosphere is chill.Good things come to those who wait, but good things also come to those who only wait a couple of minutes in a cosy restaurant! There is rarely a cue and you can get a fresh falafel quick as. This is simply the best place I have ever found to regularly eat out. And it is not expensive at all. Thanks to all the staff there who make the place happen, you are the stars of the North Laine.Keep on going FIlfil, you are simply the best falafel in Brighton!

On average, I dine at FilFil once a week and have a loyalty card which entitles me to a free falafel wrap once in a while. I never understood why this place is not as busy as I Love Falafel, just down the road - FilFil's falafels (the Palestinian variety) are much nicer. Crispy on the outside, green and fluffy on the inside, and deliciously spiced and seasoned. Their homemade chilli sauce is VERY garlicky (which I like) and for value, I recommend the Falafel Lunch Box, at £5.99.The restaurant itself is fairly small - you order the food at the counter and then get a ticket with a number on it. When your number is called out, your food is ready!Order anything you like - it's all excellent!

Hi I was recommended by family who live here in Brighton to go to filfil , love the concept but the food was not fresh especially the salad and the felafel was stale , I will give it another chance but not happy

My girlfriend and I went into FilFil because we wanted something different for lunch and needed something that is Coeliac friendly. We ordered a medium platter each (the pitas aren’t gluten free, I ate them) and we were blown away by the food: fresh falafels, amazing hummus, tasty toppings and plenty of tasty veg. The food was amazing and very well priced: around £17 for two platters and a drink each with student discount. Will be returning if I’m in the area

Really good service from Matilda. Great recommendations. Had the 7.99 platter plus the side special of audergine and potatoes. They checked on us, as we ate in, to make sure everything was ok. Very genuine people and food. Would recommend 100% and go back frequently if I lived here.

My falafel wrap was amazing. The flavour was so delicate and authentic. Beautiful haloumi, and the wrap was stuffed with gorgeous salad. My husband had a medium platter, which was so tasty, fresh, healthy, with the falafel and humous stealing the show. The staff were so friendly and took immense pleasure in our enjoyment of their food. Other customers were equally happy. Do NOT walk oast this cafe.....go in!!

Fui a este café para el almuerzo. No me decepcionó en absoluto. Había mucha variedad, pero fui a la corriente principal. Fabuloso envoltura de falafel con mucho hummus y una selección de ensaladas, verduras y salsa. Para el tamaño de la envoltura fue una verdadera ganga. No hay necesidad de comer mucho esta noche. La comida era fresca y el personal muy eficiente y amable. Gran café también para terminar con. Muy recomendable.

The food is fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced, between £4 and £6 for falafels and the specials. The service was great and food was delivered to the table within a few minutes of ordering. I’d definitely recommend this place for lunch.

There are loads of cafés in Brighton and Fulfil caught our eye with its Mediterranean/North African menu. It's light and airy, homely with books and smiling staff.

Falafel & Humus Wrap is amazing! A wrap & a beer is about 8 bucks, which is exceptional value for Brighton. Place is clean & staff very pleasant. They have outdoor seating which, on a sunny day, is a great location for watching Brighton walk by (pedestrian street). I’m definitely a repeat visitor.

This place is very local in Cairo, I tried both tamie and foll. One sandwich cost 4L.E about 0.2euro The test was amazing and the size of the sandwich was big enough so an adult need not more than 2 if you are hungry. Enjoy

Went here for a family lunch. The food was superb - very tasty falafel. Good choice for vegetarians. The guys who were serving were friendly and the place was clean. (We had already walked out of another cafe serving similar food because it smelt strongly of damp and mildew.) This cafe is worth a visit if you enjoy exotic food or if you want to try something you have never eaten before. Will go back here again and would definitely recommend to others.

We had the New Lebanese platter, which gave more than enough food for two at under twelve pounds. You get a little bit of everything: hummus, taziki, falafel, and more--all of it great. We would definitely go back.

You just can't beat the falafel they serve here. Although I've never been to Eastern Europe to try authentic falafel, Fil Fil is the best falafel restaurant I've ever been to. Plenty of choices for filling, as well as pitta/wrap. Not too bad for price either. I can't count the amount of times I've had this since I first discovered in January. Not enough!

A perfect quick lunch stop for hungry vegetarians everywhere. Couldn’t fault the choice, for the first time ever as a lifelong veggie I was faced with a substantial menu and I could have had, and wanted, any of them! Amazing.

We were visiting Brighton for a couple of days and happened to pass by Filfil at lunchtime. As it was a vegetarian/vegan café (my husband is veggie), we decided to give it a try. The menu choice was great and the food was so tasty, we loved it! Service with a smile and a good price too. We are so glad we chanced upon Filfil, it was one of the highlights of our stay!

Truly authentic middle eastern cuisine. The salad is always so fresh and tasty. Sometimes the portions of the mains such as avocado can be a bit tight for the price but overall it's delicious and the service is good.
