What a gem! Stopped for a coffee but ended up having lunch. Elaine’s has a fantastic range of GF and vegan meals and cakes -I was amazed by the selection- so much better than most places I have encountered. The ladies were so understanding and great with our anxious mutt. The chips are out of this world-proper home made😁.Big thanks for a fab lunch!

Called in after a wonderful session at Settle Falconry...we simply wanted to have a snack while loitering in these stunning surroundings! Waiting to be seated it occurred to us it was a busy Sunday lunchtime (our time with the birds of prey had over-un!) so we made our excuses and left, to have a waitress quickly follow us to say we were very welcome to have whatever we wanted! She quickly found us a table and we were speedily served with a delicious toasted sandwich and chips (the ham was especially good) and an excellent, well filled bacon and egg roll. Everyone around us was clearly enjoying appetising Sunday lunches...we will make a point of returning another day for a full meal, followed by a walk in this spectacular craggy setting.

Called on Christmas eve to collect pre-booked take away Christmas Lunches. Took home, re-heated on Christmas day, and we both thought it was excellent - tasty, ample, and easy - saved a lot of work and was as good as creating it ourselves. We felt it represented very good value for money.

Disappointed with breakfast, the bacon seemed to be deep fried and was hard. The sausage tasted cheap. Egg was overcooked. For the price I expected a much higher standard. The service was good and the cakes looked lovely and I would certainly go back for coffee and cake. A little gem of a place in a lovely setting. Such a shame about the breakfast.

We’ve been to Elaine’s for a bite to eat several times but this was our first visit for Sunday lunch. It was very busy so I’m glad we booked (recommended for a Sunday). We both ordered the roast beef dinner which was exceptional. Lovely home cooked grub. We had room for a sweet so I had lemon cheese cake and my wife had plumb crumble. All washed down with a generous pot of Yorkshire tea and we had a take out of cake for later.

We've been aware of Elaine's Tea Rooms for a little while as a friend at our Caravan Park visits quite a bit - but we had no idea where either it, or Feizor was - weirdly, having driven past so many times on our way to Settle or Skipton! But on a chance drive out one evening we found Feizor, and subsequently also found Elaines Tea Rooms (after closing time). Feizor is a teeny farming Hamlet in the countryside so very easy to miss and accessible via a small single track road. We paid the Tea Rooms a visit today and were seated immediately, we were only after a light bite so went for a toastie with chips - they're hand cut chips and were absolutely amazing - just like mum used to make! Everything about this tea room is traditional, even the tea, served with an additional pot of boiling water to top up the pot. Service was fantastic, so quick and attentive - you feel looked after as an individual, rather than as a table that needs turning. We topped off our visit with a Scone with Jam & Clotted Cream - there's quite the selection of Scones, all baked on site and as a result WARM! The place is popular with walkers, but there is a small car park opposite - if you fancy a bit of a walk, park in nearby Austwick and hot-foot it across the fields (footpaths of course), and you'll soon fall upon this little gem in the beautiful countryside. I can't recommend Elaine's enough, we really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!

I've enjoyed excellent service here in the past and a recent article in the Yorkshire Post made me decide to plan my walk to have lunch here last Saturday. There were plenty of tables outside, well spaced out and hand sanitizer available which was good. When I arrived a waitress came out with some food and said she'd take my order. Unfortunately I sat for over half an hour watching a few other people eating delicious-looking food and saw another couple get up and leave because they'd not been served. The waitress came to them just as they were going and offered them free drinks and food but they declined and went on their way.I eventually managed to attract a waitress's attention and ordered a takeaway tea and coffee cake, explaining I needed it quickly now as I had to catch a train from Giggleswick station to Leeds, where I'd got a pre-booked seat on the next train and so couldn't miss it. Contactless payment didn't work outside, so I had to pay by cash. After the long wait, I was running short of time, so I drank the tea on the way and was worried that I might miss the train. I just had time to eat the cake at the station before the train came. The cake was delicious, but I'd missed lunch. Very disappointed.

My Dad suggested a spin out for some lunch and recomended he knew a great little place. We sat outside in the sun and prompltly given menus by two young ladies with i have to say the most stunning red hair you may ever see. Both were super polite and friendly and had no problem going through the specials and had a great knowledge of what was on offer and made recomendations and made us feel looked after. This seemed to come naturally thier service second to none.I had the battered fish and chips which was i have to say just right the batter light and golden not swimming in oil at all and hot at the table i have to say i enjoyed it immensly. My Dad had the nut roast which again good and hot and very tasty according to the old boy! We had Tea...AT LAST a pot with a good decent ammount of tea not a poor dribble after two small cups, this was a good few cups and again hot like its supposed to be.I think the price fair and good value. This place has it right, its not tying to be silly gormet its real well cooked food with exellent service in a beautiful location and cant recomend it highly enough.Just seen the question about face masks,we were outside and did not need to wear one,as for inside i can not comment as we did not go in.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted by a friendly staff member.Me and my wife had home made pies, mine was a Steak and my beloved had a Cheese n Onion both with chips and beans. Followed by desserts, Sticky Toffee Pudding and a Cheesecake. All the food is absolutely delicious and would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Hi all booked outside table for Sunday roast, our 1st meal out since lockdown began, we have been ultra carefull. We were shocked at the lack of protection, absolutely nothing in place from gov guidelines, the only thing they had was the poor young waitresses had own made face shields & hand sanitizer that was empty. The food was fantastic but we felt really unsafe & will not be going back. If you are like us & looking for places to eat that are following the guidelines do not go there.

This great little cafe has just reopened and apart from the staff all wearing PPE, it’sLike I’ve not been away.My son and I were looking forward to eating here halfway round our walk from Langcliffe and it didn’t disappoint. It still does the same good food with the usual fine service.

We've visited here five times now and always been impressed. A great menu with good portions and friendly service. It gets busy at the weekend, so book ahead. The outdoor eating area (complete with rabbits and nesting birds) is quirky and such a great experience for children. The staff are always super-friendly and polite. There are some great walks / biking from here too, so a good base for exploring the area between Austwick and Stainforth.
