Dine at Quarry House in Ashford

The bistro was shut for a while, now they are back and it is worth coming to pay a visit.

The sausage roll had no flavour, but the cake was nice.

Wonderful public cafe in the heart of quarry house. Please find this wonderful café you won't be disappointed, great food and lovely service.

A lovely cafe. We were made to feel very welcome, and kids were eating free with paying adults for the holidays, which was brilliant. All the food was lovely, and there were plenty of toys and books for the children to look at. When you enter the residential building, turn to your left and walk down to the cafe.

Excellent breakfast, I had the small breakfast and my husband had the large. Food was hot and perfectly cooked. Great friendly service. Will definitely visit again.

Thanks to Quarry House Bistro for a superb breakfast, freshly cooked using good quality ingredients and very reasonably priced. The establishment is a relaxed and pleasant environment. We look forward to returning, maybe for lunch or afternoon tea, next time.

Would recommend for all meals here especially afternoon tea brilliant.

A wonderful place with amazing food. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. Highly recommend the afternoon tea, only £17.50 and there was so much food left that we had to take some home In a box to go! All homemade and delicious.

My first time going to Quarry House Bistro and it was amazing. The food was delicious with lots of options, you could really tell it was local produce and it was cooked perfectly! Cherie and the team are lovely and so welcoming. Can’t wait to come back again!

What a lovely little find… Perfect place for a catch up and a cuppa! I couldn’t decide on breakfast or lunch, so will be going back for both… A stunningly, clean, bright and light café, The little ones were made so welcome and a good quality highchair (Hard to come by) The food is locally sourced and a good plate for your money. Looking forward to the spring mornings to sit outside and enjoy the home-made food… Cherie and her team are so friendly and with an open kitchen You feel so welcome. And a really decent cup of coffee…. Definitely be supporting this small business for the future. Thanks for having us.

Hannah catered for my dad's 90th Birthday party. The food was exceptional great variety and very fresh. Prepared and ready to serve on platters Guests commented on how good the food was and having the food all prepared so nicely, was a big help. Many thanks Hannah. Would recommend, great food, great service, high standards very helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Home cook food , very friendly , go most weeks

Been coming here for awhile now. Usually for a Sunday roast but have had other meals as well. Hannah and her little band of helpers are amazing. All home cooked food from snacks (wonderful sausage rolls!) to roast dinners. Fantastic value for money. Thoroughly recommend. Even does outside catering. Did us proud for a birthday party. All food cooked fresh on the day. Just had the most delicious 3 Course Christmas dinner. Thank you Hannah, mum & Emily.

My wife took my son and I for a birthday breakfast at Quarry House and initially we were unsure as to whether we were in the right location as Quarry House is next to a care home. As we walked in, the restaurant was busy so we decided to sit outside. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They brought us a clean high chair for my son and were happy to bring him a plate of fruit when he started to play up. When breakfast arrived, we were not disappointed! The food was fresh and reasonably priced for the three of us. We will definitely be returning for brekkie and maybe a cake or two!

We were out cycling and called in for food and drinks, which was very good, the staff are friendly, we will call in again, with larger group next.

Limited opening since Covid. Mainly used by residents their visitors some local people and groups who know its here and available to non residents Limited veg and vegan dishes A small Cafe/Restaurant, large groups should book in advance. Popular Sunday lunches coffee and cakes.

A great takeaway service. We had a bacon baguette with a coffee and it was perfect, freshly cooked to order so had to wait a couple of minutes (which was worth it). Also picked up a few snacks for later which look great as well. Friendly service, currently serving at the door due to current restrictions. There were plenty of parking spaces available when we popped in too.

Easy to order, Covid safe collection, well presented and absolutely delicious ! We had tried cakes and light lunches before which have never failed to impress us but first time for Roast and will be first of many !

Popped in on the off chance, wasn’t sure I was in the right place but a very helpful lady assured me that I was. I had coffee and a millionaire shortbread, was hoping for Gypsy tart so will have to come back for that. The people are really friendly, it’s good value and really clean. Definitely coming back.

Serendipity brought me to this place amd ive been going back since these last two months. Absolutely the best food in Ashford and around. Everytime I order a bacon and fried tomato on brown toast with a little brown sauce it is perfect. Today's was even better. I swear there must be half a pack of bacon and a pound of tomatoes on there. The toast is done perfectly. I've been enthusing about that bacon sarnie all evening to friends. Hannah and co are brilliant and I recommend this place to everyone I know and anyone else. 100 out of 10

Very nice Sunday dinner all served fresh with a lovely pudding all for £8.50 per person ! Friendly staff & good service . I had the veggie choice, cauliflower cheese-which came with all the trimmings , very nice . Will be going again!
