I was hesitant to make a stop at Crosses Corner for dinner as I don't do well with spicy food - although I like it very much. The owner was very diligent and offered to work with the chef to make sure my food was not spicy. It was simply delicious. My husband who is quite knowledgable about Indian food was delighted with his selection. I really appreciated that the owner approached my husband and I to check how we were doing and thanked us for our visit in the end. I will certainly plan for a pleasant dinner at Crossest Corner when we visit Windsor the next time!

Used to frequent CC before it’s closure a while back and when it closed it was tough to see it go, however popped back today to see its doors are now back open and wow! What a place it turned into, great food menu with some Indian authentic to offer and a great selection of premium beers! (Asahi being my favourite) fantastic to see how well this place has done in a short amount of time! Defiantly worth popping in for a visit if you are in the town centre

I have lived in Windsor my whole life and popped into this pub for the first time since its refurbishment. Me and my family were very pleasantly surprised! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and went out if their way to fit our large group (with mainly children) by rearranging tables. Our children were being little pickles and causing chaos but the staff engaged with them and were very relaxed. We had a few nibbles from the menu, which were delicious- me and my husband will be coming back for dinner soon! Beautiful service and great food. Well done!

The new team has worked wonders. We ate at least half a dozen items off the menu and everything was utterly delicious - light yet thoroughly satisfying, fresh and spiced to perfection. On top of that we enjoyed some innovative and unusual cocktails - the Rhubarb and Pomegranate Collins is particularly highly recommended - and genuinely warm, friendly and helpful service. Brilliant.

Just a drinking house. Reminds me of the type of pub you can find near a London train station. Or mancheswter, Liverpool, or Glasgow. Used to come hear a lot before having a curry at the Viceroy but it's gone down hill since. Think it's the clientele, lazy service, dirty feel about it. Always get the feeling everybody is watching me when I'm in there in case i'm an undercover police officer or benefits inspector. Maybe it's not that bad but..

Pros: Warm, does beer. Cons: Went on follow up visit to see the Africa Cup of Nations Final, a fixture good enough to be shown on terrestrial television here. The barman (who I think is also the landlord) didn't know it was on. They were showing some pre-recorded programme of no real consequence at the time. He put the Final on for me but did not switch down the house music, which played loudly. I gave up after about half an hour, joining a large group of people who were leaving. So at about 8:30pm the place was then left almost empty. A couldn't care less attitude got its just reward.

This place describes itself as a Sports venue, with several different screens dotted around the bars. I happened to go in there during Royal Ascot, which was featured on a couple of their screens but as far as I could tell there was not much interest in this. Simultaneously they were showing a World Cup game (Argentina v Iran). The volume for all the sports screens was down, they had the house music up, so that you couldn't get the commentary on the game. Ordered a Diet Coke which i believe was watered down. Tables were unwiped and sticky. With effort this pub could become again the best Sports Bar in Windsor, but this report does not encourage me to visit again for a while. Will go again in a few months and report back on any possible improvements.

Still a good little boozer especially for daytime , how ever the cheap cafe style furniture does not match the feel of this pub. On a recent visit to Windsor, we were looking for venue for lunch, you are spoilt for choice in windsor, we passed a pub as we were strolling through the shops and were surprised at how a pub in windsor could offer various pub meals for under £6?? We decided to sit outside in the sun and try the Hamburger and Chips for £4.50!!! The inside of the pub is very clean, welcoming and inviting, however on such a lovely day we sat outside, the young man who served us was very smiley and attentive, when he brought us the meal, we were pleasantly surprised, very well presented, and looked very appetising indeed, the burger wasnt just a burger, for extra 20p you can have cheese added or bacon etc - we went for cheese and bacon, very generous portion of both added to the burger, the burger had fresh salad and the bread roll was lovely and the burger itself was definitely one of the best we have had, and we have had many pub lunches over the years! We could not believe how reasonably priced such great food is in the middle of Windsor! If you are in windsor i strongely advise a visit to this pub, staff friendly and smiley, food not only very reasonable but very very tasty - you will not be dissappointed! On a cold weekday afternoon visit to Windsor, Crosses Corner provided the perfect remedy with a roaring fireplace and excellent value for money food. The service was great; the staff member was really friendly. There was a fair choice on the menu. I had the half-pound beef burger, and was pleasantly surprised to see - that at my time of visiting - the addition of cheese, onion rings, bacon, etc, was only 15-25p each. Very happy with the price overall. The quality of the food was good, and portions were pretty generous. We were there on a Thursday afternoon - the atmosphere was quiet (there was only 2 or 3 other people in), but that suited us with quick delivery of food. There's a pool table too, and TV, and I expect it livens up on the day of a sports event (there were rugby shirts donning the walls, and I noticed a match day price reduction on food). Overall on atmosphere it was a nice blend of pub and restaurant.Would recommend and visit again! Thanks to Crosses Corner for their top service.
