Nice team and coffee the best in city!

We came in for a quick bite but have found our spot for good and yummy crepes. Love the spot and will surely come back to try all the savory and sweet crepe options.

The girl struggled making my waffle, it stuck to the waffle iron, it was completely split in half and they still tried to serve it to me. Sent it straight back..... They shouldn't serve food that is all butchered The second waffle that they served was the same. Split in half, the outside was very crispy and dry, the middle was doughy Couldn't eat it

I had the finest time at Crepeaffaire in Newcastle; Wendy provided excellent service, the crepes were wonderful (and large), and the price was fabulous. A welcoming cafe. Would recommend.

My favourite cafe in Newcastle. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The coffee is very good and the food is always great and good value. What's not to like !

Absolutely poor poor service highly disappointed got accused of being my hair in the crepe give me a wrong coffee and told the refund would be in my bank account within 35 days please avoid this shop at all costs 😡😡😡

A favourite of ours. Tasty, imaginative crépes served with a smile. The cafe is open plan amidst the hustle and bustle of Eldon Square, so plenty of atmosphere.

We ordered a crepe, that was delivered to the wrong table. After over 30min of wait, we asked if everything was ok and got shout at by the waitress, making everyone look at us. Never coming back. Crepe is good but definitely not worth it.

I think it's brilliant here, the staff are wonderful, nice and welcoming, the food is delicious, I would recommend this place to people here

I usually stop in here for breakfast when I pop in to town every so often and I've always had a good experience. The food is great and the service has always been good, the only waits I've had for my order were during the few times it was busy so it was understandable. Eating a chocolate crepe at 9:30am is peak adult behaviour, would recommend.

Crepe was cold, microwaved bacon even when payed for extra was a minimal portion, milkshake had 50% cream, smoothie was warm, waffle was warmed up and crunchy, avocado was tasteless, paper on the plate stuck to all my food

Amazing food and incredible service, Wendy and Jenny were soo friendly and helpful and made a recommendation for what to have next time and frankly I can't wait.

I got the hunters chicken crepe which tasted alright but you could tell the chicken was processed and cheap as. Very overpriced

Over priced for tiny crepes that are not amazing. Very nice vegan choccy sauce, but ten quid is so steep for what you get.

Ate in and had all day breakfast crepe which was lovely and surprisingly filling, with a pot of loose leaf tea which was really nice. Had a bit of a wait but not too bad considering how busy Newcastle is today

Was gifted while sat down with a lovely panda on my caramel latte, which itself was one of the best I’ve had the pleasure of trying. Furthermore, I don’t think I have ever felt more welcome in a cafe, the staff were extremely accommodating and made me feel like one of their own. Will I come back? Absolutely.

I specially requested a goats cheese, maple syrup and bacon waffle, and i was accommodated to. the bacon was lovely and crisp, and Maisie is a delightful member of staff. i will be returning

Extremely poor and unwelcoming service yesterday evening, I usually come on a Saturday afternoon/evening after shopping and watching sports in the centre of Newcastle but unfortunately I won’t be back - I was spoken to with very little respect and there was a serious lack of effort from the staff who were working last night, they decided to stop serving customers way before they closed and stated there was a “30 minute wait for food” even though the place was practically empty. Food is nice but slightly overpriced I would say and it isn’t the most clean of restaurants and you often wait way longer then you should, but unfortunately the lazy & rude service from staff there means I’ll not be back and will be trying establishments elsewhere in the future, please sort this out for future customers!

We were served by Jenny! She was friendly, bubbly, polite and very accommodating. I have a particular dietary need, Jenny went out of her way to find out if what I wanted to eat was suitable for me. She was calm and very patient. The food was good too! I will be visiting again. Thank you Jenny!

We often come to Newcastle for a short break (from Scotland) We always come to crepeaffaire for a sweet treat usually, as we love crepes. We went in today and never noticed the card only payment before we ordered. While I sometimes do pay with card, I always prefer cash. I wish people could see the Bigger picture of a world without cash. The crepes were nice and the staff were Lovely but we won't be back as we support businesses that give you the choice on how to pay

Unfriendly greeting from the girl at the counter who said it was MY fault that she gave me the wrong milk. Then ordered the eggs royale crep to be given OFF salmon that you could smell from a mile away. No apology, nothing. Never again.

Visited with daughter for breakfast as I slept passed the cut off time for breakfast at the hotel - oops. Gorgeous crepes, no butterscotch but the maple syrup substitute was great. Daughter enjoyed her strawberry and Nutella one.

Me and my partner called in on Tuesday morning and had two breakfast crepes latte and tea and the staff where very welcoming as we order lovely service

Poor hygiene. The waitress threw the cutlery onto the dirty table, apart from having no manners and common sense, the table wasn’t clean. Napkins were hiding and not accessible to customers or next to tables. It felt uncomfortable eating with the cutlery thrown onto the dirty table. We will not return. And I don’t recommend.

Poor organisation - unclear seating approach poor services - being brought disgusting cutlery wet and and with soap on. Poorly cooked food. Crepes were to thicker, not cooked enough so uneatable.

Called in on a fairly quiet Wednesday for a savoury crepe and coffee. Coffee was fine. The crepe .... not so much. First attempt was burnt ( how can you burn a crepe? ) and tasted like burnt toast. Took it back and they prepared another. This version was underdone and tasted very doughy, not pleasant. Returned it and got my refund while the young female 'chef' gave me daggers!!! Sorry, it's not my fault if you can't make a simple crepe! First and last visit on the basis that first impressions count and this was a very poor one.

My daughter and I often pop in and the food is constantly top notch we particularly enjoy the mini pancakes. The service is spectacular and always with a smile the staff are so friendly and attentive. Definitely a favourite of ours !!

I visited here with my mam and niece, and the staff were amazing. After I had ordered, I asked if I could have the fruit and sauce separate from the pancakes for my nieces order and they were more than happy to do that. Nothing at all was a trouble, all the staff were lovely and the food amazing! I didn’t catch the names of all the staff but Wendy, as well as the rest of the staff were lovely and so accommodating.

Over all I enjoyed the food but the sever on the till just ruined my mood. I initially asked for one of the waffles before I noticed I could personalise it. When I asked if it was possible to have a simpler waffle with only two toppings he insisted I had one of the other listed ones. It felt like he was pressuring me to choose one of them despite asking if they could do "a waffle with sugar and syrup". While I enjoyed the food it wasn't what I wanted. The whole experience made me feel awkward and like I wasn't able to choose a custom item which they advertise on the menu.

Was card only so couldn't pay with cash and was a little bit of a wait before we got the coffees we ordered

Had a pancake with chocolate and banana. Someone said it was crepe, but I thought it was ok. (Joke) Seriously, though, not bad.

I love crepes 🥰 and I especially love their crepes. The avocado one and the goats cheese one are just out of this world

Take ages to make a crep with an empty venue... crapaffaire 😭😅

I went into this shop as we were passing and fancied a coffee. I ordered a crepe as well and we went to sit down. As I sat I felt a splinter come off the front of the seat and go through my jeans and stick in my thigh. I managed to pull it out. I went to the counter and told the girl who in turn spoke to the manager who was behind her. He did not even come to speak to me. Then I was presented with my stodgy sugar and lemon crepe. As we left I saw 2 crepes being cooked and realised the reason it was stodgy was the fact they only cook 1 side and put your filling onto raw batter and fold it. They need to ho to Greece to find out how it is done properly.

Would have left more stars but the cost seems a bit high, but the food is high quality. Milkshakes were more what swayed me to 3 stars due to their cost. They dont warrant 9 pound for 2 milkshakes in my experience. Feel bad giving a 3 due to price when service, taste, and the place itself are a four and the staff are a five. Lovely but not cheap.

My girlfriend and I decided to pop in for a coffee and crepes, we sat at a table right near the service counter and ordered via the app as it said was an easy way of ordering at the table. We waited over 40 mins with staff walking past regular and bringing orders directly to tables ither side of us, at first I thought maybe something we ordered takes a while to prep but enough was enough and my partner went up to ask to be told our order didn't go through because something we ordered wasn't available so it auto cancelled(but still took our payment) she was told he'll put the order through now, I want back and said this wasn't good enough and he seemed shocked when I asked to cancel, I explained did you not think to check while someone would be sat there for 40mins without ordering right in eyesight of the counter, but obviously didn't care. I just hope my refund actually goes through. Very unprofessional, sort your ordering system out if it allows orders to be cancelled without notification and learn some customer service skills!

One of my favourite places to go. Great atmosphere, coffee and food. The only tip I will give for them to improve upon is to provide a spoon for the ice cream on the pancakes.

It has nice food and drinks, staff are friendly. However, on both occasions we have been, the service has been really slow (25 minutes and 30 minutes just for 2 crepes). Food hygiene looks good, however all the tables are sticky and they aren't prompt with removing rubbish or cleaning tables. Other than the poor speed and dirty tables, we do enjoy the food here :)

Really nice crepes, albeit in less than glamorous surroundings (ie next to the escalators in Eldon Square). Not bad value either.

Any business that refuses to accept legal tender ie cash should be boycotted. Went in here for a coffee and was refused service despite having the correct money. Businesses like this are cheerleaders in a cashless society which spells disaster for us all and I...

Fantastic place. Extremely friendly and attentive staff, lovely food and coffee. A little expensive for some of the menu items but there are a lot of Vegan options and something for everyone. A nice clean place to enjoy some tasty food.
