Wonderful selection of doughnuts, freshly baked breads and other baked goods. In a small village Coughlan’s stands out as an excellent spot for a cup of coffee and a quick bite to eat.

I wwnt to your branch today with my grandchildren and spent a fortune on cakes and drinks. I asked for a few ice cubes in a pot and was told they only did them with iced drinks. Really!!!! I will never go in there again and will advise my friends not to either.

Small shop opposite the green Coughlans sells decent bread, pastries and pies. Good for a snack, the coffee however is atrocious

It's quite a small space and I would only really recommend going in for a small pastry or dessert. I have to admit they have amazing sausage rolls. The coffee is very average but staff are always friendly.

Coughlans has just reopened after the lockdown. I have really missed their great bread and savoury patties...

We were early for an appointment in Godstone so decided to treat ourselves to a nice coffee while we waited. Coughlans is an attractive looking bakery. I hadn't visited before but had seen people sitting outside in the summer. I was hopeful of a good coffee and breads etc look good if a bit expensive but you don't mind if it is quality and enjoyable. I ordered two flat white coffees to takeaway and went of for our appointment. Well I cannot remember ever having such terrible coffee, taking of the lid it looked like water with a touch of milk, they were both truly disgusting. I wish I had had the time to take them back and complain.

Regularly call in here for a coffee and a snack. As this is a bakery there is always plenty of choice from cookies, cake, bread, sausage rolls etc.... I normally have a coffee and a shortbread and chocolate chip cookie. Very nice.

Great service, great Sunday Roast and staff really friendly and attentive. The bar had a fab variety of real ales and wines. Dining area was spacious I noticed the black board had details of upcoming events such as Sea Shanty evenings. Car park too which was really handy for our small children and walking distance for my mum. Will be returning.

This is a lovely coffee shop with friendly staff. I visited a few days ago and our server, georgina, was amazing. She was knowledgeable and answered our questions, helpful and generally all you could ask for when you don't really have a clue about coffee etc
