It’s been already few times we came here. Last time I had the Fillet which was delicious. The service and the attention offered by a very nice waitress called Alexandra meant a lot for us. Thank you for everything, we’ll definitely be coming back.

Only just discovered this place after watching Gary eats on you tube nearly always went elsewhere .Excellent place very friendly staff very comfortable not expensive and a very good menu,been here a couple of times for breakfast and will be coming back to try their evening meals all in all very pleased.

Our waiter was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We were given a preferred table as my daughter had requested one. Food was excellent and I'm a classically trained chef so I'm particular.

It was a lovely experience for my birthday but still a chain restaurant. Staff were very nice and the atmosphere is always nice, warm and friendly.

Been a while since we visited our favourite chain bistro. Warm welcome, seated promptly and drinks soon arrived. I chose the chicken liver parfait starter with sourdough and poulet grille for mains. Both excellent and up to the usual standard. My partner also chose from the prix fixe menu which is good value at £17.50 for 2 courses. She thoroughly enjoyed her minute steak with frites. We also ordered side salads, fresh and well presented. Friendly efficient service and good quality food.

A treat visit (though I'd love to go every day! ) Staff were all very polite and attentive. Our main waitress was Miyah who looked after us very well. I have dietary issues that she acknowledged in our menu choices. Fillet steak was perfectly cooked. Thank you to the head waitress who runs a great restaurant.

Visited with my wife, daughter, her partner and my middle grandchild for my birthday. Welcomed on arrival and the staff were immediately taken with my granddaughter! Service was very good, the staff were friendly and the food was excellent. The icing on the cake was when I was presented with a bottle of bubbly for my birthday! We’ll done to all and we will be back!

I visited Cote on 1st January, the service was absolutely amazing even though the restaurant was very full! They were running around doing everything, Bless them! The breakfast was delicious and I will definitely be visiting again soon.

I come in frequently for breakfast and love it here .. the french toast is my favourite pick, but I'd also recommend the eggs royale The staff are kind and accommodating, and the service is usually pretty swift.

We have a saying at home about Côte Basingstoke: "The only thing better than the food here is the service!" (And the food is absolutely perfect!) Since moving to Basingstoke, we've been dining at Côte regularly over the year. Though Basingstoke is small, it has plenty of restaurants - we’ve tried about 90% of them! - and none come close to the exceptional service and quality of food at Côte. The portion sizes are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the service is impeccable. The staff, especially ***Sarah*** as well as Marta and the rest of the team, always go above and beyond to make us feel welcome, accommodating our requests with genuine warmth and smiles. The service is quick, the food arrives hot, and the drinks and desserts are always delightful. Côte Basingstoke is truly a gem in our hometown, and we look forward to dining here again and again—with smiles on our faces! 😊

We have come here on 2 occasions for work Xmas meals and both times the food and service has been really good! Quick friendly service, no issue with any of the food and staff were lovely.

Not great. Arrived here for breakfast just before 11.30am. By the time they came to serve us they refused breakfast because it was 11.33am. It just seemed a little unreasonable, so we left. I wouldn’t recommend this place despite previously having a good experience. I don’t recommend it as there’s better places nearby.

Four of us had a meal here for our son's birthday, absolutely brilliant we were treated to a birthday free bottle of bubbles nice touch, we all opted for the £37 three course, the choice and quality of the food was amazing, the whole evening was excellent made special by the very friendly, attentive and helpful staff, I thoughly recommend Cote if you're looking for that special evening out.

Came here with my girlfriend for dinner and it was perfect, we were served by Kyle who was charming and clearly very skilled at his job, we also were helped by Margarita who is equally excellent, would absolutely come here again and recommend

What has happened to Cote, blunt service staff and steak looked grey and tasted odd. Used to be a firm favourite. Shame.

I came in on my own today and I wasn’t made to feel uncomfortable , I was given a choice of seats and the young lady that served me was amazing. I had salad maison with a side of olive and it was the best salad I ever had. She fully recommended it and gave me her personal opinion which was brilliant. She was very attentive and kind. Really great atmosphere and fully recommend whether you’re own or not 😊

We came here for a meal with my mum. The chicken breast was disgusting and inedible. Seems to be a frozen breast, part jelly part rubber. The minute steak was very bad quality , we took it home to see if my dogs would eat it. Service was nice, staff friendly . But food horrible

Popped along for breakfast, unsurprisingly quiet. I went for the eggs benedict. Perfectly poached eggs with a very generous amount of hollandaise sauce. Fruit juice and cappuccino to drink, both really good. Food took about 10 minutes to arrive - any less is a bad sign! Would happily return

The food was actually quite good, the place not so full as it probably should have been. However, service, as in so many places had holes in it. My french beans were not brought to the table without a reminder. More importantly, my steak, ordered medium well was incorrectly cooked, well at one end and medium rare at the other. I opted for a single scoop of ice cream which, priced at £2.95, was less than half the price of the offered two scoops (£6.50) and this was not satisfactorily explained.

I popped in to Cotes last Saturday to meet a friend, I was so impressed with all the staff, their kindness and attitude was first class. Thank you to the lovely ladies who served us, it was refreshing to have you go above and beyond.

From start to finish our experience was one of a kind never received from other restaurants. Welcomed with a warm and friendly smile, given a choice of where we can sit, then greeted by our very friendly and happy waitress Margretta, who was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to the food recommendations. The food was just all around beautiful. Each dish served piping hot, fresh and full of flavour, arriving to the table in a perfect timely manner. The extra attentiveness of our waitress was very much appreciated, finding out that we were on a special romantic evening she brought over 2 drinks for us and noted that neither of us were drinking alcohol, so made sure that the drinks were non alcoholic. Above and beyond all expectations and we are very much looking forward to visiting again very soon. Note: I had the beef cheek bourguignon, the meat was full of flavour and melted in my mouth like butter

A decent restaurant with excellent service and pretty good food. It's good value for the food and service you get. We tend to lunch there reasonably often.

I recommend the camembert, moules (upgrade to rosemary fries) and creme brulee! I'm now 33 and that was my NUMBER ONE favourite lunch of all my birthdays! Thank you for making it feel so special. I always considered myself a regular costumer in Cote, specifically in Farnham and London because of the high-quality services and waiters. Until I landed in their branch in Basingstoke. I asked for a high chair for my child for a sofa long table. The waitress said you can’t have it there, even though the restaurant was almost empty and it wouldn’t be blocking the aisle. So we moved to another table that was round with a sofa. After we moved our belongings across the restaurant and put my child on the high chair, away from everything with a space allowing people to move around us, the waitress said we couldn’t sit there either, but she could check with the manager. The restaurant was almost empty but unfortunately she didn’t even bother to apologize. We felt it was quite ridiculous, the atmosphere and treatment does not merit the high prices, and customers shouldn’t be made to feel grateful or have special permission just for sitting down. So we walked out with no word from their side. The reason why I choose Cote is because it’s normally flexible, accommodating customers with professional waitresses - not some kids acting as though they are in KFC. Certainly not recommended, unfriendly treatment and in some degree quite run-down.

The food is always fantastic as is the service. The best restaurant in Basingstoke in my opinion! The atmosphere is also lovely, great place for a special occasion or a treat! A little above average on food prices but worth every penny! My only criticism is that the alcohol is very expensive.

We visited côté Basingstoke today for a birthday breakfast. The staff were so accommodating of us arriving with a pram and even gave us a special birthday treat! Thank you for looking after us and for making us all feel special. Food was fab too. Highly recommend!

My go-to breakfast spot from now on! The staff members on duty were all really friendly, and I think the Breakfast Complet (any hot breakfast + a hot drink + juice) is really good value. Especially for the super quality of the food!

I recently went to eat here for a hen party breakfast and received wonderful service! The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and they happily took some pictures of our group! Even though there were 7 of us the food arrived quickly, and they even offered us complimentary champagne! The menu may appear pricey but you pay for quality service, a lovely atmosphere and perfect food ☺️

Cote is my discovery. I've already been twice. The first was breakfast with my son, we ordered eggs hollandaise and they were quite good, the coffee was delicious and the tea was served in a teapot. Everywhere is clean and good service. And the second time it was a light dinner. I ordered the Niçoise salad and it was delicious - with a big piece of fresh tuna.

I come here with my young daughter when we can, it's our favourite place to go when we're out for dinner together.. The staff are FAULTLESS. The food is amazing. My daughter asked to go for her birthday recently and they were so thoughtful that it brought me to tears! Definitely go here if you're considering it :-)

This is a lovely Cote brasserie. Service and food are excellent. Good for families, couples, celebrations.

The manager and teams looked after us very well. I have akward dietary requirements that they went out of their way to accommodate without any fuss. The service was very attentive and the Happy Anniversary plate at the end really was the icing on the cake for us.

As always, we have had a wonderful birthday celebration at Côte. We visit very often and never once regretted our choice of the restaurant. Great quality of the food ( our compliments to the chef once again) and perfect menu. Amazing - welcoming, knowledgeable and super professional waiters (special thanks to them!). Late afternoon, clean, staff friendly, but meal disappointing. How many leaves make a "herb salad?" Answer ... THREE very small ones. Small whitebait starter o.k. main o.k. overpriced local pub levels of food.

Delicious food. Beautiful presentation. We brought my 96 mobility impaired mum who treated like a Queen by the charming staff . Everyone was friendly, kind and attentive. Also had one party member who is Gluten intolerant and their team were incredibly attentive to him too.

Came in as a party of 3 just before noon on a Saturday. Service was fine, food was very nice. Minor issue that we weren't given brunch menus so assumed they weren't doing brunch but later saw lots of brunch dishes coming out. Ended up going for the french onion soup and pork belly. Both delicious though.

We love visiting this restaurant. When we went on Mother’s Day, we were greeted warmly. We received amazing service from Julia and Panchali - nothing seemed too much trouble. They were even able to accommodate a side order of mushrooms, even though it’s normally only on the breakfast menu. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, as always. 10 out of 10!

Went before a comedy show. Was very busy but just about made it out on time. Welcome was great and all front of house staff welcoming. Food was well cooked and good. Free cocktail helped. Steak and Boeuf Bourguinon were particularly good.

It was a lovely friends’ lunch experience. Just the two of us. The table could have been a bit larger than the table for two. It did feel a bit cramped. We did have to ask to be given more time to choose from the menu. The restaurant was in no way very busy so we took advantage of a quality and leisurely lunch. Overall, a very lovely way to spend an afternoon.

My first visit to Cote Basingstoke. Booked it for mothers day and wasnt disappointed. I had the Duck Liver Parfait which was really nice and the Wife and kids shared a starter board. Kids meals were good vale ay 7.50 for 2 courses or 9.50 for 3. My burger was excellent and my wifes Tuna Nicoise got the thumbs up. The service was excellent and the food came out pretty quick. Very positive experience and happy to recommend. ************************************

Thank you for the great service and food once again! I've visited this location several times and was never disappointed. I arrived 8 minutes later and the team was very accommodating with my time schedule since I had another engagement after. Food was delicious and the service was brilliant as usual.

We stopped by for Saturday lunch quite by accident as the restaurant we originally wanted to eat in was fully booked. We are so glad we did! We received excellent service from our waitresses, and their knowledge of the ingredients in our food was good. The vegan bourguignon was amazing, perfectly cooked and well presented. The ambience and service were spot on and we look forward to a return visit.

Lovely clean surroundings with friendly knowledgeable staff. The menu should have something for everyone and, as treat as it is a tad expensive, you can sit back and enjoy a really relaxing meal.

Great first impressions! What an amazing meal we had can’t be faulted with either the food or the service. The cheese soufflé & pork belly confit was mouth watering and Mandeline were so soft and moist!

Cote in Basingstoke is one of my favourite restaurants. My partner and I would usually pop in for special occasions like Christmas, Valentine’s Day etc for great service, stylish interior design and of course delicious food. My favourite dish is fish stew, and the staff would always carefully exclude prawns for me as I have an allergy to shellfish. I am very grateful that Cote could manage with flexibility in dishes for me, which indicates that all the dishes are cooked on the spot rather than pre-made. That is one of the reasons I always feel the experience with Cote is worth of money.

A busy late Saturday afternoon when we visited but greeted and seated promptly. My usual Calamari starter did not disappoint, generous portion, hot and crisp. My partner's beetroot salad was equally well received. My moules mariniere was good but a few too many baby moules, i.e tiny, rather have fewer but plumper ones. My partner chose poulet gratinee but instead of pommes dauphinoise, was served frites but this was quickly remedied with an apology. No time for desserts as we were going to the Anvil but overall food and service very good. A plus point was the complimentary cocktails from an online promotion through which we booked, but we did have to ask for these even though they showed on our booking.

We visited as a party of 4 for my Mums birthday . The food, service and ambiance were excellent and the staff went out of their way to make my mums birthday special. Great menu choice too.

Went during a quiet time but received great service, food served quickly and tasted great. Reasonable value for money. Had steak fries with side of veg and espresso. Only comment is service charge automatically added, would prefer to choose, though you can ask to remove. I think the team deserved it so left it on, just like the choice. Highly recommend for a quality meal at a fair price. Will return if I'm ever in area again and will look out for other branches.
