Great coffee shop hidden in one of the tranquil narrow path ways of Guildford high Street. Great food served in a very tiny setting which gave us a little bit of a squashed feeling. But in general it was a fantastic experience, gorgeous coffee and a lovely Mother's day treat.

First time for a long time we went to this coffee shop in Guildford. Unfortunately we left it rather late as they were closing in 15 minutes. However, the young lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful and advised us to sit outside as that would give us more time. Toasted sandwich was fine and my wife's apple pie was very generous and must of been nice as she ate it all without offering me a taste! Next time we will go earlier so we can experience a greater choice of food.

This hidden gem has the best coffee and service in Guildford at really good prices in a lovely setting. Being here always feels like time we'll spent.

I'd read so many reviews that said Coffee Culture make the best coffees in Guildford, and they were not wrong! My partner also said it's the best one he's tried by a country mile (and he doesn't even like coffee). I only wish the space was bigger 🤍

Absolutely delightful place, tucked away down a cobbled walkway of the High Street is this charming coffee shop. Sit outside under heated cover or sit inside, great place for a relaxing coffee/lunch break

Very busy place bit of rush for everything but very good

Last saturday we chose Coffee Culture as we prefer to take breakfast local shops rather than the usual big chains. We arrived before 12 and have what is meant to be a glorious breakfast but until we arrrived to the cash, it was 11.55 am. Strangely, the cashier said that it was too late, I tried to convince and pleased her to still have the breakfast but no way so we needed to opt for something else despite everybody had the breakfast menu. At the end, the jacket potatoes and drink were OK but service was poor maybe because we went at the wrong time.

Lovely coffee, cake, and a light lunch. Staff were attentive, friendly, and help helpful. Location is nice and quiet, tucked away just off Guildford highstreet. There was plenty of outdoor seating. A really welcoming cafe that is a great place to stop for a bite to eat.

Very cozy place with the best coffee so far. I almost teared up when I saw that they have soup for lunch (not a common British thing, I hate to say). That was a lovely meal that warmed my soul. Just a tad bit of salt next time won't hurt 😉

Nice coffee and food but I find the inside a bit chaotic as it’s quite small! Go early if you want a relaxing coffee as it gets soo busy (which is of course a good thing!)

Definitely worth a visit and an opportunity to go to an independent coffee shop.

The best cappuccino I’ve had in a long time, lovely friendly service, would defo recommend the jumbo blueberry muffin it’s incredible!

Needed a break from my ride from Brighton to Henley perfect safe parking for bike nice friendly staff, clean, all be it small toilet wash room area.

Great outside seating in the nice weather. Good menu choices for a light lunch and the food was served pretty quickly even though they were busy.

Being 100% Italian born and raised makes me extra picky in espresso, anywhere. But they prepare one of the best I found in the UK yet and the place is a little jewel: young a friendly staff; cute location in a quiet little pedestrian passage lane where they have outdoor tables with heaters for the cold days and under sun and rain protections; they offer freshly made cakes, soups, jack potatoes and different snacks…no wonder it is always very busy, definitely popular with locals and tourists alike, it is definitely my only spot when in town!

Lovely friendly coffee shop also offers gluten free and dairy free cakes… I had a delicious and moist dairy and gluten free slice of cake! Opposite a cute flower shop in the alley by Bills

My wife and I are coffee lovers. We had a hard time finding a good coffee joint until we came across this little gem. It was very comfortable atmosphere with outstanding coffee.

An all around great experience! Tasty bagels and the cakes were absolutely incredible, definitely worth going just for the cake!!!! The reason we didn’t rate our experience a 5 star is that the seating areas are quite cramped and if it’s busy and raining it would be potentially risky to sit outside and not get wet (albeit it’s under some cover). Will definitely return!

I went here to do some work the other day, the space fills up pretty quickly but it is such a lovely spot to take time to enjoy their specialty- incredible coffee! Honestly the best oat latte I have had I think.. ever !

We ordered two latte's and a cake, which I have to say were so bad in flavour that we couldn't drink it and threw them away. I've never thrown a coffee away before and I drink a lot of coffee. The staff were very welcoming and the cake was amazing but the coffee was truly bad that I feel I wouldn't return again as it wasn't cheap.

While waiting on my drink at the Culture Coffee shop... Shocking seeing all different types of paninis and bagels (meat and veg) like tuna, brie, ham, bacon being toasted all together.. Not wrapped individually to prevent cross contamination.. Using one knife to cut them all, not cleaning knife! Shocking... No wonder about reading previous reviews regarding food poisoning! Definitely don't recommend to eat there.

Visited yesterday and was so impressed by the friendly service and the beautiful smiles that greet you in this coffee shop. The jokes about the cakes getting me fat and going out of your way to find a black biro pen so I could fill out my form won’t be forgotten. Thank you!! If you want good coffee, friendly staff that go out of their way for you then this is the place for you.

We found this place on the off chance and really glad we did. Lovely coffee, good range of pastries or paninis at competitive price. Indoor and outdoor seating. It is compact but we found a table and good vibe. Only downside is that people sitting outside were smoking and the cigarette smoke blew inside. Still, will visit again

We were staying at the Angel Hotel adjacent to Coffee Culture and popped in here for breakfast as it was packed out in Bills next door. It's so popular you are fortunate to get a seat and I now know why, speedy service in a delightful atmosphere, the sausages are amazing and everything is served on delightful crockery. Looking forward to returning when we next stay in Guildford.

I must come here a few times a week since I discovered it, the staff are friendly , it’s dog friendly and the coffee and cake is gorgeous! The only place I’ll go for coffee with friends or too work these days 😊

Good selection of drinks and cakes. The best thing about this place is the location and seating on a picturesque cobbled lane off the high street.

Food was really nice, we came for breakfast. Although, there wasn't really any service. We didn't realise that we were required to order at the till, which is our fault, but maybe some signage explaining that. Overall, very good food, I'd highly recommend.

The cafe is in a lovely location tucked away down a side street. It was a rainy day and the cafe was quite busy but I managed to find a seat outside. I ordered a Fish Finger sandwich and my friend a Ham and Cheese...

Excellent coffee (decaf) and very attentive service. They were very kind to our dog who needed water. They brought it without my asking. Cakes were scrumptious.

Nice popular independent coffee shop. Spotted as it was under our hotel window (Angel Hotel and Livery). Went for breakfast after checking out. Good vegetarian options and good coffee choices. Enjoyed avo on granary toast with scrambled eggs and a double cortado with oat milk....

Great little cafe and, importantly, independently owned. The team there are working hard to deliver good service whilst maintaining safety during the virus. The coffee is great as is the selection of cakes. We often stop here for elevenses whilst in Guildford

Always love visiting this café, they serve great drinks and delicious sweet treats. I particularly enjoy the outdoor seating in a lovely cobbled side street in Guildford, which is lovely in summer with the sun and great in the winter with the heaters.

Always stop here for a coffee if I’m in Guildford shopping. Great selection of cakes and they offer alternative milks which I love!

I just stumbled across this place by pure chance and decided to grab a take-away coffee. And I'm so happy I did. It was one of the best coffee's I've had in the longest time! I was super impressed and it really made my day!...

Went on a Sunday when not many other places were open. Maybe that's why this already tight place was maybe too packed. Went looking for a big breakfast, but when I saw the size of the tables I thought it was going to be too...

The coffee and snacks are lovely and it's my favorite place. However, today I sat outside and the tables were filthy as was the tray I was given to carry my coffee. The ashtrays look horrid on all the tables and it would be nice if part of the outdoor seating was non smoking. Shame on a lovely day for non smokers to be relegated to inside. This is the second time I have experienced this. I'll give it one more go as the coffee is delicous and staff lovely (but obviously no time for cleaning). Sorry it's negative but hope this is helpful.

I have had coffee and cake here on several occasions and it is one of my favourite coffee places in Guildford. Good coffee.

I've popped into Coffee Culture several times, and after enjoying coffee with scrambled eggs on sourdough toast so much the first time, I've had the same on each of my following visits! Adventurous? No. Delicious? Yes.Great, friendly service, and a very satisfying start to the day.

Although quite full and a bit of a tight squeeze as it’s quite a small place , the quality of the full English breakfast was brilliant. I ordered brown toast and it was great rustic granary bread in thick slices . Very quick service and overall friendly staff . Will definitely be back .

I found this cafe about 2 years ago and I was in a rush looking for a cafe in Guildford as I lived in Australia. First day of my new job and I ended up forgetting about my Job because of how nice the coffees are and the brownies were to die for.

I found this small cafe about 5 years ago and return there every time I am Guildford. It’s cosy, friendly and they have a great variety of tasty soups which is what I usually have if there at lunch time. There are of course lots of sandwiches, cakes etc all of which look good.

Great little cafe. Didn’t want to go to a chain and found this. Look forward to going back next time I’m shopping in Guildford.

Coffee culture has etter coffee than the average coffee bar in Guildford. Ideal for takeaway as space is not enough to enjoy your drink there.

A lovely little cafe tucked away out of site of the high street. Coffee is great as are the snacks. Staff are friendly and theres a great little buzz to the place.

Ridiculously small slice of pear and cardamom cake, especially when compared to the red velvet. Apparently because of the type of cake... Indifferent staff who don't make you feel welcome.

Was recommended to use this place for a business meeting as there were decent car parks nearby and not too far from the station. Was there for about two hours, good atmosphere and excellent coffee. Plenty of cakes etc on offer (on a diet!) and seemed to be a good steady stream of regulars passign through. Will use again when passing by!

Popped in for a quick coffee and slice of cake. There is a wide variety of cakes on offer, including gluten free ones and the coffee is good as well. If we're in Guildford again, we will definitely pay this coffee shop another visit.

I’m glad we stumbled upon this lovely place, which is tucked away down a little alley off the High Street. It’s quite compact and quirky inside (but there are lots of tables outside too, which were very popular on the beautiful day we visited) and has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are friendly and the coffee really good. I wish we had a coffee shop like this closer to where we live!

We originally sat outside but as one of our party has migraines triggered by cigarette smoke went inside. There were no smokers when we first sat down and we understand this outside area is really a smokers preserve.

We had lunch here recently. The coffee shop is located down a lane off Guildford High Street and has indoor and outdoor seating. As well as the usual range of coffees, they offer a choice of paninis, sandwiches and cakes. What we ordered was nice, but there was quite a wait between serving our drinks and our food.

I stopped here with the wife for a quick coffee. Nice and quiet at 9:30, but can get busy as very popular. Toasted tea cakes are great !

Currently at this coffee shop - had a piece of banoffee pie - the thinnest wedge of pie I have ever seen, and one portion was just a lump as the staff had broken it when serving onto the plate. I asked about the portion size and was told that it is pre-cut and the staff can’t do anything about it. I think that is just greed on the part of the owner. Give a decent portion and people will return and spend money with you again, you certainly won’t be seeing me again.

Love the friendly service at this cute cafe! Staff are unfailingly smiley and lovely. I enjoy having my coffee outoors no matter the weather and this is one of the few cafes with outdoor seating.

My friend was visiting from High Wycombe and as I was raving about this little coffee shop I'd found she wanted to go to it when she visited me. Sure enough she came and we visited...... we were there for a late lunch and we finished off the tasty soups on the board and then had a look at the homemade cakes on offer. My, what a selection! My friend chose the Caramel Crunch Cheesecake and I has the Coffee and Walnut cake and they were to die for! Compliments to the cake baker and keep up the good work!!

The food wasn’t particularly tasty, very bland. Very busy so clearly popular with locals. Prices slightly on the higher side which would be fine if the quality of food was better.

This was our first visit and we absolutely loved it. It’s small and independent with a great vibe. The coffee was gorgeous as was the ham and cheese toasty. As for the pecan pie and coffee cake - out of this world! Simply delicious.
