Delicious freshly cooked home made breakfast. Toast & jam after Reasonably priced. Very pleasant staff great service. Will definitely be back.

This cafe always serves great food at a great price! My father and Husband always have one of the full breakfasts and clear their plates. I myself have a ham and cheese toastie on white, lots of cheese and ham yummy.

My friend warned me that the owner doesn't wash his hands, but I thought I'd give the benefit of doubt anyway as I was desperate for some lunch. As I walked in, a gentleman was pushing the contents of inside the bin down with his hands, I approached the sweaty server an asked for a tuna baguette.. he said no problem. I saw him walk into the kitchen and instantly pick up my baguette...I said excuse me..please can you wash your hands? He threw his hands up in the air, and said "what you don't think I wash my hands enough" I said I've just seen you push your bin down with your hands?? I should of just walked out. Another lady came along, an they started speaking in their own language..no doubt they were talking about me :) as she then served me for the rest of my time in the pleasant Bellagio. As I looked around the run down poor excuse of a business, a few elderly people were sat having lunch, in which were probably very unaware of his poor hygiene. I've worked in kitchens for 12 years plus, an never have I ever quite literally dangled my hands in the bin then prepared someone's lunch. I very much doubt they owners will see this, but in the off chance they do..take a free course in health an hygiene, it takes 5 minutes and i'm sure you'll be delighted with what you can learn. If you're looking to have lunch in this gulag, just don't. I shalt be returning, an I definitely won't be recommending.

Cafe Bellagio has a surprisingly vast menu. We had our dog with us and so went and sat in the courtyard. It is table service and our order was taken quickly. My husband had the Mega breakfast which included a slice of toast and either tea or coffee (£9.50). I had the 2 sausages, mash and onion gravy. Both were very tasty and reasonably priced. Good value and good service.

Decided to pop in here for a quick snack and we were very surprised by the extensive menu - too much choice!! Not seeing it very often these days, I chose the ploughmans whilst the kids went for baguettes & paninis. All freshly prepared and service was swift! Picking a table by the window we watched the world go by as we ate - of course then dessert had to be consumed by the little ones as well - so they were more than happy!

Friendly service, great breakfast! Stopped in on a stroll and ordered the Mega Breakfast. Excellent value for money too, the sausages were great

Called in to Cafe Bellagio for lunch as we normally do when we visit Hythe .Sat at a table in the window and waited for the waitress to come and take dirty dishes and plates away and clean the table . Although she knew we were waiting had to wait for a male member of staff to come and take our drinks order . After ordering our food we had to wait 25 minutes for it to be served . During this period customers were going up the counter to query the time taken for their meals to be served .Yes they were busy but nearly all fast food so no excuse for time taken to serve . The table had to be cleaned as iv said and other tables were dirty with finished plates . The salt and pepper holder was filthy rusty and dirty . When the food was served my wife's omelette looked like someone had been ill on the plate . It was a mess just dumped on the plate . We were hungry so she tucked in but during eating she said to me it smells strange ,I had a taste and yes it didnt taste to fresh so she left the rest . I had a cheese burger which I did enjoy . After the meal my Wife went to the toilet the only one in use is a disabled and gents combined loo . When she came out she said its dirty in their no hand paper towels as the blower doesn't work . I went and yes it was filthy more dirty paper towels on the floor with a lot of bits of paper all over the floor and the toilet was not clean . Told the waitress but didnt seem in a hurry do any thing about it . Looking through into the open kitchen area it was messy and dirty plates staked up on a shelf and a precooked pie of some sort was just left out on a table with no covering at all . Not very reassuring about the hygiene of the cafe . Paid and left .How this cafe has gone down hill since we first started using it is amazing certainly will not be coming back ,shame as it used to be a clean and tidy good value little cafe .

Garden is so quant, staff are friendly enough, coffee is always hot and food is decent, though I didn’t eat today

Food is basic cafe food but well cooked and reasonably priced. Nice mug of tea and the young waitress was very attentive and helpful. Dogs allowed too which is always a bonus.

Usually come here as food is freshly cooked. Today we ordered two breakfasts and some drinks. 45 minutes later we had our drinks and was still waiting for food. Customers who arrived after got their food. We waited an extra 10 and still no food so walked out. Wont be returning

Made a visit to the cafe just by chance on our second day of our family break. The food is very good, well cooked with all to the various decision made by our family. So much so that we made a visit every day. ( gives the other half a break from cooking, it’s her holiday as well). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend the roast lamb. It’s to die for.

Well! Given a lot of places you have to book, we walked in and asked if they had space to which they just pointed at various empty tables. We ordered all day breakfast and a coffee and a cup of tea. Lady brought drinks and almost slammed them down on table and walked off. We could hear the breakfast being fried on full heat in the kitchen - was all fried inc black pudding and it arrived within a couple of mins. Menus/tables didn't seem cleaned between customers (not very covid safe), no mention of trace & trace, customer service a bit lacking, food was all fried but was quite tasty. Decent price. Wouldn't dash back.

Popped in for a quick late lunch this Saturday with partner. Asked if there was space in the garden and was told by table server to go and look for myself. There was no space so found a table inside, she gave us just the one menu. Hadn’t bothered sanitising the table. Waited for twenty minutes for order to be taken. Signalled for her to come over but was ignored. Customer service non existent so upped and left. Place was messy, untidy and greasy. Would avoid like the plague.

We visited today for brunch around 11.30am, and had a very enjoyable meal which was good vaule for money. The seating was very covid friendly but not once did we see a table/ chair or any other surface wiped down. As it happens, we always carry wipes with us and cleaned our area before seating. The courtyard is quite nice and only one seagull which waited patiently for any left overs. Friendly staff.

A lovely friendly cafe which we popped into by chance. We enjoyed it so much we have come back. Good choice. Good price. Clean and hospitable.

My partner and I visited this cafe twice during our stay in Hythe for breakfast, it was very reasonably priced. It was also great that they offer set breakfasts and also "build your own". If your looking for a homely cafe this is definitely the place to go. Unfortunately I can't comment on their lunch or dinner menu and we didn't try it. We would definitely return if staying in hythe again.

A great cafe with a garden out the back. Obviously not star rated cuisine but so had a jack potato with chilli con carne. One of the best home made chillis that I’ve ever had. Mrs has a ham omelette, and that was really good too.

This is one of those places that you get what you pay for , processed food and milky drinks. The food is edible but not served with any hurry or imagination, the same as a thousand Cafes countrywide.

Nice and freshly cooked food,very friendly and helpful staff, would highly recommend this cafe best in town.

I cant even talk about the food because we left as soon we realised the cafe doesnt have baby changing facilities. The man in charge offered me to change my baby in the toilette’s lid and when i said no, he thought was better idea to use the floor to do that, really? Clearly no interest at all, maybe the cafe is good but with this kind of service for sure i’ll never come back. Hospitality zero!

In a prime position in the high street, this coffee bar/ restaurant could be terrific. However, it is very very tired. The staff are very pleasant, and it has a garden space that could be lovely, but is used only by smokers it seems. I won’t mention the toilets! The prices are reasonable, such a shame it doesn’t reach its potential.

Very standard, food and drinks were both cold, service was almost non existent. Very quick in and out, food was definitely not fresh. Slightly let down as from the outside it looked very nice! Tolerable but wouldn't go again, you expect food to taste nicer when you eat out than if you made it at home by yourself with absolute basics.

Found this place in the high street had lunch here very clean and staff very nice food is lovely and a good price will defo recommend

During our visit to Hythe and the High Street area we visited as many venues as possible. One day when our schedule was tight we stopped by the Cafe Bellagio for a quick breakfast bite. The setting is quiet and calm, the wait staff attentive and the menu provided a tasty breakfast option for me and a lunch option for my wife. We enjoyed our visit so much we chose relax a bit in the cafe and not worry about our busy schedule.

In Hythe for lunch,and this was by far the best value food we found on the High Street.My partner had Tuna Mayo Sandwich,I made up a small breakfast.Add on a Lipton Tea bottle,and a cup of tea,and it came to a little over £10.Service was quick and efficient,food quality and presentation were a reasonable standard.Worth a visit.

We called it here whilst walking through Hythe High Street. I chose it as we only wanted something inexpensive and light to eat.

Been coming here now for four years we normally stay at marley caravan park it's only a short drive or bus ride.

We had (very good) coffee here one morning in Hythe. The decor is plain and bare-bones but the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.

Stopped here for lunch whilst visiting hythe Great little cafe , tea was fresh, Our lunch order of sandwiches & jacket potato arrived quickly and tasted great 👍

We call in to this Restaurant several times a month, Either for a coffee or a main meal. Their Roast Dinner are very good value and is always the same good presentation, great flavour and plenty to eat. All the Staff are very pleasant with a welcoming smile and greeting.

We were visiting Hythe for the day and decided to have lunch somewhere in the High street. We chose this place as the decor was OK and the menu offered a good variaty. we were a party of four and was sat on a nice comfortable table in the window. I ordered a cheese omelette and chips which was of a very good size and tasted lovely. The rest of the party all had different dishes and we all agreed that we had had a good meal and would certainly return again when we are in the area.

Me and my mum alway love coming here for lunch if we are in Hythe, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very tasty cottage pie with chips and gravy, not too expensive and very friendly staff. Premises a bit small but well laid out.

Very friendly, helpful staff. This was our first visit and we had a toasted sausage, bacon and fried onion sandwich, which was delicious and plenty of filling. Very reasonable prices. Good tea. Will definitely return.

A great place with fab prices and a warm and friendly welcome. The pot of tea for two would have served five!

Ahora hemos comido aquí en numerosas ocasiones y la comida es tan buena que prefiero salir de allí a cualquiera de los restaurantes "pijo".

No hay nada particularmente italiano sobre Cafe Bellagio y el ambiente es cafe universal pero la comida era muy buena. Yo no creo que la única razón por la que disfruté de mi pastel es porque me jolly hambre. Servicio carecía de encanto o real participación pero la comida caliente generosos y sabrosos. Este es un buen lugar libre de pretensiones de ir en una ciudad donde los restaurantes más selectos son bastante concurridas.

Out for a walk with family, we were delighted to find this café open and serving very good decaff and standard coffees. Staff were cheerful and welcoming.

Aunque tiene un nombre italiano, esta excepcional café/restaurante sirve excelente comida inglesa a precios muy asequibles. Todo el día, desayuno inglés completo, pescado y patatas fritas, pastel de carne, ensaladas, bocadillos, hamburguesas y panini, etc. , etc.

Have to say prices was quite reasonable and eventually decided to order a pudding since it said home made pudding.

last 2 visits to Hythe we have used this place for breakfast and it's been well cooked and presented each time. This time as weather so good we have sat in garden area which was really good. Staff very pleasant , fast service but you are not rushed when finished. Try the chocolate and nut sundae mmmmmm

Called in for lunch. Had to ask for menus! A surly looking waitress produced some after a few minutes. Not a great choice but what we got was good. Not a very inspiring visit. Tried it again a few days later. Same miserable waitress! Disappointing.

Con tanta variedad de sitios donde comer en Hythe High Street y de haber hecho una mala elección en el pasado, decidimos darle una oportunidad Cafe Bellagio. La apariencia de precios y el lugar nos dibujó en el interior. Sólo me apetecía una baguette y una copa y no estábamos buscando una comida cara. Una vez dentro, encontramos la cafetería, limpia y cómoda. Aseos limpios y una zona de comedor en la parte trasera, sumado a una buena experiencia. Nuestros 2 baguette, café con leche y té eran frescos y deliciosos. Suena bastante simple, pero hay muchos cafés puede ser desesperante. No aquí. Nos vimos tentados por el precio de su gloria y ordenados 2 Knickerbocker. Precioso, muy bonito. Espero que lo encuentre en su visita, disfrute.

Went in because they have a big open space at th back. Cappuccino nothing like. Only milk shakes available were ready made in a bottle. Very poor selection of cakes, no biscuits. It was 11:15.

He estado antes varias veces con amigos como normalmente tenemos perros y sentarse fuera. Pedí una patata chaqueta y preguntó si estaban crujientes por fuera, nos cocinará más para usted fue la respuesta. Hora de la realidad, Emmmmm, micro no se obviaba spuds preparado más para que sea más crujiente. La comida se sirve mucha frito y la mayoría de la comida es insípida y no cómo se maneja. El café se sirve y es tan enorme que el trago de café se pierde en la leche. Yo estaba charlando con una señora cuando abrió y le preguntó lo que pensaba, me dijo que el lugar era sosa y deben considerar pintar la pared de color llamativo con muy extraño como una cereza o turquesa. No se sabe a qué es buena comida y mala comida. Son muy útiles, pero el lugar no tiene alma.

El servicio era muy lento de personal inepto. Tras 10 minutos de espera para nuestra orden de dos patatas al horno y dos coca colas de tenerse que esperamos 40 minutos, escuchando a otros comensales a discutir el servicio lento, para luego ser traído el orden colocada por una pareja que llegó cinco minutos después de nosotros!

Greasy spoon cafe - poor customer service we left before being asked what we wanted. Atmosphere poor only thing going to the place is a lovely back garden. If you want lousy service then visit this place. Should have done better.

We called in for a toasted bacon sandwich and there was loads of bacon in a very nice toasted bread, which we washed down with a very big cup of Cappuccino. Pleasant staff and quick service. Would definitely go there Again

We poped in for lunch on a cold March day. We had freshly baked baguette full of our chosen filling and a nice side salad and a pot of tea for two which gave us nearly 3 cups each. Nice polite staff good menu too.

Visited one Saturday morning as a table of 10! Fantastic quick service, lovely cooked breakfast and a nice cup of tea. I paid £21 for 4 breakfasts, 3 hot drinks and a juice. Great value.

There is a nice patio area out the back which is south facing and very warm in the spring. Plenty of room for children to play. The food is very good and reasonably priced.

Nos detuvimos aquí para almorzar y estamos gratamente sorprendidos. Nos sentamos en la zona amurallada del jardín, que estaba bien. Un poco ordenado y algunas plantas lo que sea mejor. La encantadora camarera era muy amable y mi marido disfrutó su parrilla de Cumberland que parecía mejor que la imagen en el menú. Yo tenía una papa de la chaqueta con frijoles y este llegó con una buena ensalada fresca y despejada fresca. La taza de té para dos era suficiente para 4 tazas. El servicio era excelente y el precio es bueno. Sin duda, volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en Hythe.
