Bubble Ci Tea in Guildford

Ok the bubble tea tasted fine when I got it, even though I found it suspicious that it took them less than 30 seconds to make it. Sometimes it wouldn’t be mixed up properly and you’d swallow bits at the bottom. The next day I woke up feeling sick, sore stomach, burping every 5 minutes, and then later throwing up It’s really disappointing and they need to make better quality bubble teas.

My children told me they saw this on YouTube Shorts and it was amazing! It has super good flavours and the popping boba have a great sensation in your mouth. Thank you Bubble CiTea!!

They don’t follow your specific request. The last four times we’ve been to the Guildford branch, the Bobas have been awful. Overly sweet, milk powder not mixed properly, run out of tapioca pearls. Have had to send drinks back multiple times due to it having been made wrong. High staff turnover so maybe spending a little more time training new starters on how to make the tea properly would help? Have visited Mooboo branches and other branches elsewhere which were far superior to the Boba served at Guildford Bubble Citea. Disappointing.

The worst matcha milk tea that I had. We visited the Portsmouth branch and the drink was very water down. It’s like drinking water that you can barely taste the matcha. The staff are great though it’s just the quality of the drinks. As an asian myself, it’s very far from the usual asian milk tea brands that you can get in Chinatown. The flavour is really wrong. My friend ordered the Taro and she says it’s also water down.

I ordered 2 regulars with NO ICE. we were charged for 2 larges and didn’t realise this until after i checked the receipts. we also had ice in the drinks. customer service was rude and it was as if they didn’t care about being there.

This review is for CI Tea Staines actually. 3 servers were present that day & as a first time customer I was excited as I am a big fan of bubble tea but my first impression was just wasted. The cashier who was wearing an eyeglasses didn’t give option as they run out tapioca pearls, so I asked if she can substitute another topping & answered yes so I said I have the mango Crystal & the lychee jelly but unfortunately she charged me with the topping. The green haired lady said “did you ask if there was a charge?!” As if it was my fault. The other lady who was shaking the tea was so arrogant by saying “what’s the problem now? it’s not a problem we can still put the toppings!” Seriously?!? Is that how you talk to your customers? You even made a mistake on the special request & you didn’t apologise for your mistakes! How unprofessional! Don’t do business if you don’t have the proper skills!

A very welcoming worker named Imran was so cheerful and helpful when making our orders and was very patient when we kept deciding to change our order. I wanted a mix of individual bubbles but he advised me to get the rainbow selection as I get the same thing but I save money. His hospitality was so good that my and my girlfriend are definitely going to become regulars and even buy their cup when I next visit!
