The only downside about the place are the outdated toilets. But the food was amazing, the service lovely. The bill was steep, but totally worth it. Oh. Bonus points for the excellent wines

We visited for a pre show meal last night based on the good reviews and food photos online. Unfortunately some of the food and the service was a real letdown and I can see why the restaurant was virtually empty now. My octopus (it could have been any fish) starter was well overcooked and smothered in a sauce that could have come out of a supermarket jar, and the handful of anchovies my partner had were overcooked and flavourless.Thankfully our mains (that arrived after 45minutes) were better though one of the side dishes was minute and gone in a couple of forkfuls. Unfortunately the next table we’re drunk and very loud having had many of the restaurants “Porn Star “ signature cocktails ,it was like being in a scene from east Enders but without the talent. We were charged £95 for the ordeal and not asked once whether we were happy with the food ,I would say not surprisingly. I wish we had gone to the local fish and chip shop for a better experience and saved £60 .

Wow! What a wonderful experience. Was refreshing to have a waiter (I believe he could have been the manager?) who had a fantastic sense of humour. I was particularly chuckled when he offered to hang my coat up, and when I politely declined he said “thank you for trusting me” 😂 The food was superb, I had the soft shell crab, followed by the Burger and lobster combo, washed down with a beautiful wine. I didn’t have room for dessert. I look forward to coming back in the not so distant future…

Took my daughter and grandson for Sunday lunch, food was great along with choice and service was also very good, definitely recommend this restaurant highly and will be back soon

I had a great evening with my 9-year-old daughter who wanted to try some of the seafood she saw on Masterchef, especially the scallops. It was her birthday and they made it extra special by gifting her a slice of cake and scallop shells as a gift. She was really happy and loved the dishes.

Excellent, food was outstanding service was great can’t wait to go again my son and I went on Christmas Eve and had the most wonderful meal we are looking to go again it was so amazing would highly recommend this restaurant totally enjoyed and worth every penny.

This is a proper sea food restaurant, no fish and chips. There were 4 of us, 2 had the skate wings in butter with creamed spinich and 2 had the half lobster thermidor with a sharing of proper chips, not frozen. The meal was excellent, the manager was very attentive. Thank you.

Saw this place while passing by in the area and popped in for dinner. What an amazing find. All the seafood was fresh and delicious. We got scallops, prawns, octopus, and sea bass ceviche. The scallops and prawn with garlic butter were excellent and would definitely recommend. Our server was also very friendly and attentive. Great experience!

I visited Blue Harbour on Saturday evening 23 September with four friends prior to visiting the theatre. We had a warm and friendly greeting on arrival and the menu was varied with daily specials. The food was cooked to perfection and the service efficient. I would definitely eat here again and would recommend it. Thank you to all at Blue Harbour for such an enjoyable experience.

Love this place friendly staff great food (big portions! Don't overorder.). Might drop in later today. The non-fish grub is tasty too.

Came here for a late lunch with a friend today and I loved it. The food was fresh and delicious (I had the halibut fillet and my friend had the prawn linguine). Very nice portion sizes, and I found what I had to be filling. The staff were friendly and attentive and I enjoyed myself. I'd love to return to try the other dishes on the menu. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I ate there , from the moment we walked through the door , the service was so warm and friendly , we had a lovely bottle of wine , for starters we had the calamari & mussels, both were so fresh and incredible! Our mains , skate & sea food linguine, again both were fantastic , lastly we had two beautiful desserts! All the food came so quickly, hot and I can’t stress this enough, HOT! We enjoyed every single bite. If you’re in Bromley south please stop in and enjoy.

We went here for a quick lunch to celebrate my wife finally being able to eat oysters following pregnancy. The food was incredible. It's so hard to find good seafood restaurants outside of central London and I'm so glad we found this one. It's one of the best that I've been to. It was like the specials board was made for me (Sea Bass ceviche and Monkfish) Will definitely be going back to this plaice (see what I did there 😁)

This is such a great restaurant. Had an excellent meal there last night with a mix of seafood and steak all cooked to perfection . The staff are so friendly & efficient. Highly recommend a visit.

Took awhile to find, but proved worth the search,a varied menu but as the name suggests mostly seafood , As in most things not cheap it’s been a while since we were in England but the prices have greatly increased On everything wine was around 8 to 9 Pound for a glass starters Around 10 to 15 pound Mains 15 to 30 pounds food was well cooked and presented staff very attentive seemed to be family run and it showed all in all a very good meal and would recommend although decor could do with an upgrade and spoiled the experience somewhat although our food was as we wanted it

Went here today for Father's day and I can say unequivocally, that every single dish was delicious. Perfectly seasoned, balanced and quality. I have added a new restaurant to my roster and will be coming back very soon.

Absolutely delightful dining experience. The food was DELICIOUS...fresh and cooked to perfection with lovely presentation. I had the specials for starter and main but i also tried the food of 2 others in my party and all 3 were superb. The staff were extremely professional and obviously took great pride in their roles which I feel is sometimes rare these days! Very lucky to have such a great seafood option in Bromley and I would defo come back here. Thank you, Blue Harbour! Note: I notice other reviews have been a wee bit critical on decor and price but in my view, I would MUCH rather go for substance over style when it comes to food and you get what you pay for. I didn't even notice the decor because the food and service were great and I believe prices were worthwhile.

We came for a Friday night dinner. Although the prices may be slightly higher than other Bromley restaurants, you certainly get the quality you pay for (well worth it)! We had the most incredible dinner including escargots, scallops, lobster and prawns which were all delicious. The staff were great fun and professional, and able to recommend wines to our needs. We will certainly return. Thanks!

Food - for a seafood restaurant serving closed mussels to the seafood linguini dish is pretty poor and unacceptable. Downmarked for that. Service - again serving mussels but with no pot to put the shells? Ordered mussel pot as well but didnt get a citrus wash which the other table got. Lack of consistency here. Atmosphere was good so no complaints.

Great seafood restaurant in Bromley. The prices are higher than other restaurants in the area, but it is definitely worth it for quality ingredients and the fantastic service you receive. The fish come as a stand alone and you should get a side to go with it. Though it's easier for two, as they can get a different side each and share

Excellent service and value. I had: Garlic bread for starters: Sea bass, vegetables and chunky chips for my main meal and chocolate fudge cake for dessert. Pictures were not taken or needed. Very good restaurant, lobster is excellent, wine is superb and dining is very comfortable and warm. Staff were very friendly annd welcoming, I would recommend to everyone. Parking is nice and cheap and not too far from the restaurant aswell.

The butter garlic lobster, that’s rich

I had the Seam Bream Supreme with prawns on the top. The dish itself was lovely. The only draw back was that you have to pay for your sides as the dish does not come with any side, this bumps up the cost. I also had the crab starter which was lovely. Service was good, very friendly. Its swings and roundabout's as the food was nice but it all adds up to whether you consider it to be good value. The food presentation was nice but would have preferred the sides to be included in the price. One place where you need to watch the bill as it will creep up..

Great service, lovely menu. Slight disappointed that you have to pay for all your sides.This makes it more expensive. Ordered the sea bass supreme with prawns this was lovely and a good size. Dressed crab for starters was lovely and fresh. I think it's a restaurant where you need to be aware that everything is an extra cost so that you can keep an eye on the cost of your meal. I didn't leave the restaurant feeling like I had value for the money ,but I enjoyed the food so it's swings and roundabouts. Worth a visit.

Recently visited for the first time as we didn't fancy heading into Central London for dinner. Everything was cooked perfectly and service was excellent. The lobster bisque special was a highlight; it's been a long time since we've tasted such a good one and my husband didn't want me to order it for this reason but once he tried it couldn't stop eating it! Good quality seafood is not cheap but we found it to be fairly priced and portions were generous. Shame we don't live closer but will be back regardless.

Extremely over expensive overrated experience!

New Year's Eve afternoon, hadn't booked, but made very welcome, great food and service. A local treasure!

Delicious food - sorry, I didn’t think to take photos - fantastic service, everything beautifully presented and the atmosphere was relaxed, smart and comfortable without a hint of pretension about it. I went with friends, this afternoon 31/12/22 - my friend had planned visit but was completely spontaneous for me to join them - highly recommended!

Went to dinner Thursday 17th November, absolutely fantastic , had soft shell crab and the sea bream, cooked very well, presentation and service excellent, would seriously recommend and without any doubt a first class fish restaurant

Unbelievable food and service. The best lobster I have ever had as well as the best service ever experienced. 10/10 is the very minumum this place deserves. The whole family was happy and left with big smiles on thier faces. Will definately be coming back soon!

We were a group of 8 and everyone said the same thing " that was really gd" and we will go back.

Delicious fresh fish cooked to perfection and amazing service: a real surprise. I will definitely come back.

The fish itself was tasty, but the skate wing was the smallest I've seen and was not good value. The real insult was having to pay extra for side dishes and how small they were. Chunky chips cooked in oil that tasted stale and a very small portion and the other extra side dish of vegetables might as well have been served in an eye bath the portion was so small, literally about eight green beans, carrot batons that didn't amount to one whole carrot and four of the smallest broccoli florets. We each had a glass of white wine, not cheap at £8 per glass and not a good taste, almost tasted as if it had been watered down. I would not recommend or return to this restaurant, very disappointing.

lovely food , lobster linguine was great , mothers birthday food success. Recommend this lovely little restaurant.

Great dining experience. Seafood was really great but it was the bread that really did it for me! Kasim and the other staff were very attentive and friendly. The Pinot was an excellent wine choice, as was the Surf and surf. The atmosphere was relaxed and all the guests struck up friendly conversation. Loved it!

Amazing Food, worth every penny!!

I came inside the restaurant with my family and the restaurant was empty.......after I undenstood why? I ordered tuna tartar and I asked only tuna chopped with lemon and salt and Was arrived tuna chopped ( very small quantity) and a lot of chopped tomatoes...

This restaurant is small and quaint, we went for some lunch prior to shopping. The food itself was nice, staff friendly, decor a bit dated but this place was very pricey for a lunch , 67.10 for 2 mains (seafood pasta, grilled seabass, chips), 1 starter escargot and a bottle of sparkling water . This restaurant being in Bromley it's not what I would say 'fancy'. Perhaps the restaurant need to look at adding some vegetables with the seabass as value for money just wasn't there. I get it isn't fast food but the location, decor etc doesn't match the pricing. Overall I rated a 4 because of taste and staff.

The Blue Harbour offers a good selection of sea delicacy, big enough portions and a lovely service from the staff. We had a warm welcome as soon as we crossed the door and it didn’t stop until we left. The menu offers a good selection of fish as well as shellfish and seafood with an add on of steak for those who also can’t give up meat! Admirable selection of wines too. Overall it’s a bit pricy, however considering the quality of the food and it’s freshness I do think it’s fair. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and come back for the halibut!!

Extremely overpriced. £13 for four prawns... four. Mussels had a funny smell. Charging £4 for a small glass bottle of coke or £4 for some pineapple juice poured out of a carton. How can they seriously justify that?. The food is mediocre and not worth the price. If it was anything special I wouldn't be too upset. The service was friendly enough but I can't help but feel like they cheated me. This is not central London and certainly not fine dining, the prices are not justified. Will never go back, there is a better restaurant nearby which serves fresh seafood at prices which don't feel like an absolute scam. One man and a child, 2 drinks, 2 starters and a main (which we shared) and they charged us £80.

Very friendly staff, on point with the service 👌 Food was fantastic. We were 3 adults and a child, we had a mix of starters as sharing plates 🍽 From the prawns to the lamb and octopus 🦑 and muscles were all divine. Not to talk about the calamari, that were fresh and crispy and non oily. The wine was fantastic we went for a primitivo. I would highly recommend this restaurant 👌

At last we’ve found a good restaurant in Bromley. Fish was excellent quality, very well prepared. Tuna tartare was fabulous, as was the sea bream, anchovies and cod. Superb. Service was professional, prompt and friendly. Thank you. We’ll be back!

Far too expensive, very small portions, greasy food, unfriendly waiter. I had to send back the tuna as it was off. The other fish didn't taste fresh. Really want to recommend this place, but I can't.

Delicious food and amazing staff. The waiter was helpful with recommendation and even open for a little chat. We learned even how they get their fish fresh every dawn. All the food we had (tuna tartare, octopus as starters then sea bass and wing of skate for main finished with chocolate fudge cake and Panna cotta for dessert) were good but have to call out the octopus. Usually I only have it fried as cooked ones tend to be chewy. This was the first place where that wasn't the case. Will definitely go back!

The food was amazing, the setting lovely and a huge dollop of customer service. We loved it and we’ll be back to work our way through the menu. Very tasty food.
