Fantastic chips, battered sausages and a scallop. Had to wait for fresh chips - no problem - worth the wait, piping hot, not greasy.

Lovely, friendly staff. Fantastic food. Competitive price. All our family love the food from this chip shop. We visit at least once a week.

Ordered a large mixed kebab got it home and it was tiny , the tikka was vile , mushy salad threw it away disgusting . Would never go there again

They may have excelled at self praise and promotion..but sadly the food and service aren’t reflected in their blousy claims.. Fish was soggy mush in batter, curry sauce was watery and frankly vile.. the chips were tiny and pointless.. The staff also don’t seem to deduce that fish, chips and curry sauce might be best served in a tray .. Appalling place .. wouldn’t eat here again if it were free..

We went with a large order, they got it done in a timely manner, food was exactly what we wanted and they were very friendly

Binley Mega Chippy, world class for a reason. An emotional reaction would be undercutting the magnificent quality of Binley mega Chippy. Would recommend. Once in a life time chippy. Pairs nice with some Micheal cylinders. Top Bins.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! Ordered a fresh haddock, I was then violently sick during the night, colleagues had different items, only myself poorly, prices have gone ridiculous £7.00 for haddock! come on just (staff are hideous, one looks like a 10 year old) sorry you have failed.

Absolutely appalling Chip Shop. Staff so slow, zero customer service and food really bad. Standing waiting for 20 minutes whilst staff literally do nothing. Then two staff members put one kebab together. This place has gone downhill so much. Please do not use it and use Hipswell or The Marina instead far better in the area.

I feel the new owners are becoming a little greedy with the prices, especially with the fish £7.00 for haddock you buy this in bulk no need for them kind of prices, I guess it's back to the Marina's. Donna kebab was tiny and flavourless.

chips were alr, not that soggy, donner was 10% lamb my favorite, solid staff, bro dapped me up styll.

I used to come here regularly but since the new owner has taken over its gone down hill. I thought I'd try it again last Friday but the service was so terrible they took 40 minutes to do 2 donor kebabs & 2 fish & chips. The 2 women that were serving were rude, they were too busy chatting & kept asking me to remind them my order which I had already paid for. In the end when I got my food the cod was so small and dry compared to the other ones on display & the donor kebab had hardly any salad. Not a good experience will not be returning ever again!!!

When Binley mega Chippy was famous, I drove for three hours, to go and try some of the famous Binley, mega Chippy I went to get food and in the back of the café, I saw a employee pick his nose, then continue to fry a fish disgraceful I did not drive three hours to eat boogers I will never visit this place again

Marvellous portion of sliced potato in a neat and tidily manor. Excellent langoustine. The battered sausage (an odd name for caviar in a tempura batter) was cooked to perfection

I was nearby, so i'd thought i check it out. I had cod and chips with mushy peas, it was very very tasty!

Lunchtime treat, not busy, fast service. Nice chips, not greasy, with lovely spicy Irish curry gravy. I would happily order again from Binley Mega Chippy.

This place is horrible the fish was completely rubbish and so were the fries, I first heard about the place through Tik Tok a few months ago. While I wasn’t expecting this place to be posh it was much worse than expected. Also it was massively overpriced for the quality of the food.

Having heard good things about this chippy even down to customers writing a song about it, I was in the area so decided to give it a go, I must say that my experience was far from pleasant, the service was fast but that was probably down to the food already being in the warmer and evidently for some time, as the battered fish was more like a schnitzel, flat and tough, and the chips tasted stale, maybe I was unfortunate and hit them on a bad evening however I will not be eating anything from them again

So I went to Binley Mega Chippy in July and August 2022 and I got a tote bag from there and the food was very nice and hot. I would recommend a Battered Sasuage, Chips, Gravy and a vimto! I would recommend going if ur near it
