Beryl's Cafe in Rother

Stopped here just to get a coffee, very busy it has to be said, though when you take an order always good to get it completed and bring them to the table rather than stick it ok the fridge and forget about as it happened today, and after we chased it still took another 20mins for it to arrive when it appears our order went to another table not overly impressed, not overly well organised room for improvement for sure. Good location, plenty of parking

We have visited this cafe many times and always have a super experience. Very pleasant staff, good service and delicious food. Always very welcoming even on a very busy Sunday morning. Definitely worth booking a table. Will continue to visit even as a local! Thank you

A great venue for meeting friends, very dog friendly and very reasonably priced. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us.

We had planned a day at the beach but being the minor rain deities we are it of course decided to pour down so we decided to stop at Beryl's Cafe and get fed instead. So in we roll, 3 families deep, 6 adults, 5 kids and 1 dog. We knew instantly we were in the right place seeing the 3 little dogs tucked quietly under a table. We commandeered 2 big tables kids on one adults on tuther and set about ordering. The service was great, and the food came very quickly. The food was really good and only empty plates went back to the kitchen. The prices were great and we ended up getting a nice breakfast, coffees and extra sides all of which worked out at about a tenner a head. I would highly recommend this as a stop over if you are in the area.

We returned here after visiting in October. Lovely seasonal theme to the restaurant each time and a clearly welcoming for dogs. Great, honest service and very warm, fresh food. Highly recommended

First visit since lockdown, great to find it's as good as ever. Full English cooked to perfection, great service from from friendly staff, with the bonus of being dog friendly.

We had a lovely lunch and breakfast at Beryl's. Good service and tasty food. We had the small breakfast and it was delicious. Good quality food, cooked fresh and a good portion size. A sweet place to stop at for breakfast or lunch.

Really lovely place and the staff are soooo nice! Had a fab breakfast with very nice tea. Only minor criticism ( reason for a 4 rather than a 5 ) is that the outside area has lots of discarded sugar etc packets and fag ends under the tables…

With friends, dropped in for a cup of coffee while on our way to Dungeness. Extremely friendly helpful staff and the service was quick and efficient. The coffees we had were very good, hot and tasty. Although we did not have any food, the breakfasts being served at the table next to ours looked absolutely delicious. An added bonus is that dogs are welcomed both inside and outside. Can recommend to anyone travelling along the A259.

best fried eggs cooked to perfection great food fantastic service this is a little gem the staff are so friendly and helpful and there home made cakes are to die for and your four legged friends are welcome here and catered for they even sell dogie ice-cream to cool them down this suited every ones needs in are party every one left full content and happy

We called in for a cup of coffee on our way down to Dungeness. This was our first fist but it won't be our last. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the coffee was delicious. In the restaurant were a group of elderly scooterists having breakfast. Their meals looked very good indeed and smelled very tasty. We will be back to sample the food, especially as the cafe is dog friendly.

My partner and I stopped off for Beryl's all day Breakfast. Very clean Decent Breakfast and beverages. Lovely ladies running the cafe. Pets welcome.

This is the only wheelchair accessable place in this area. They are so helpful and accommodating and have moved tables so we can get in even though we are restricting them a bit. We come here most Sundays for breakfast and do book in advance...

Very very slow service. Well no service in the end as I asked for my money back and went elsewhere. Over 40mins for a coffee and slice of cake, not good enough imo. Shame as it looked like a nice place. I won't be returning.

After being loyal customers for a number of years we were unpleasantly shocked, ordering breakfast we asked the owner to swap one item for another (due to allergy). This has historically never been a problem and then the owner explained she had stopped doing (swaps)...

Beryl's cafe was the perfect shelter on a wet weekend bear Camber Sands. They quickly accommodated our family, the food was excellent, the staff very friendly, and all at great value. What more can one ask ?! Highly recommended.

Our first time visiting Beryl’s after a good run along Camber Sands. We all had the all day breakfasts, milkshakes and juice. The food was delicious, hot, fresh and excellent quality. The service was fab. Brilliant value. Dogs allowed to sit inside. Such an enjoyable visit and we will be back!

Really good breakfast, freshly cooked food and excellent service. Liked the relaxed atmosphere. I can imagine it is a great place to stop and fuel up after a good long walk!

Our second visit here and it won't be the last. After a nice walk on the beach at Camber we headed here for a late breakfast.I chose the full breakfast and my partner had a sausage sandwich. Both were served promptly, piping hot and very well cooked.Great for us as they're dog friendly and very accommodating. A little gem of a cafe.

What a lovely cafe....a very friendly atmosphere...attentive staff, welcoming to dogs and humans...and the Sunday roast was excellent...a good plateful which all of us enjoyed.... Also peering at others breakfasts they looked absolutely delicious and very good value... Definitely a place to return to....

Stopped in at Beryl's Cafe for lunch when I was recently down visiting with family.

‘S ochtends vroeg op doorreis hier gegeten. Ruime keuze aan mogelijkheden om te ontbijten. Vriendelijke bediening. Prima ontbijt. Het cafe ligt aan de weg in een bocht. De ingang van de weg naar de parkeerplaats was wat lastig te vinden, zijn er eerst voorbij gereden. Kwam toch nog goed.

Myself and three others (plus two dogs) were lucky to discover this fantastic cafe when visiting Camber. We had breakfast there and would highly recommend. The staff were lovely, very warm and welcoming, and the breakfasts amazing, especially for the very reasonable price charged. We had one full English, two big up English's and one vegetarian breakfast. Dogs are also welcome and were given water and free treats. Definitely pop in if you are in the area. We will definitely be going back.

Can't say too much about this cafe only great food and great staff. If you're that way pop in you won't be disappointed

We loved this place! Perfect for a stop on your way to or from somewhere. Especially love the dog friendly vibe! They even sell dog ice-cream! My in-laws pooch chomped on “Old Sock” flavour!

We pass this place so many time but this was the first time we'd actually come in and I'm so glad we did. The staff were super-friendly and helpful and the breakfast I had was lovely. They also served up what was possibly the best coffee I've had in a long time.

Popped into this Cafe on our way to Rye with a couple of friends. A very cute and clean cafe right next to a garden centre to pop your nose into afterwards. The young waitress told us to take a seat, and she would be over when we were all ready to order. Even though it was very busy nothing was too much trouble. I ordered the Beryls Full English which was absolutely lovely. My friends had sandwiches with lovely fresh bread. Once it had quieted down we got talking to the staff, all of them are very polite and enjoy to have a laugh. We will defiantly be back on our next visit to rye. Keep up the good work Beryls!!

Breakfast was good, but what disappointed was a table that was reserved, was loaded with plates ,cups etc, and was overheard them saying kitchen was small and not enough room for washing up. So unfortunately will not be returning . And staff could be more attentive as some people told to sit and someone would come over but didn't until they went back to counter and placed their order and no apology.

Although we have visited the area many times, this was our visit to " Beryl's" Tables outside where we could sit with our dog. Friendly service and a very enjoyable breakfast. Will definitely call in again when in the area.

Never been here before but will certainly come again soon! Had an all day breakfast which was superb. The very welcome pot of tea was also excellent. The staff are lovely, very friendly and welcoming. We will certainly be back and will sample their afternoon tea next time.

Next to the Farm shop which has a café too more to my taste. We did not want a variation on the huge selection of fried breakfasts so milk shakes, tea [both fine] and coffees were consumed and we moved next door to Salts Farm Shop, It is dog friendly and parking is free.

What a delicious feast we had at Beryl's. Egg, bacon, sausage, beans, tomato, mushrooms, hash brown and slice of toast. Absolutely sensational. Spotlessly clean and so friendly staff. Would recommend the breakfast GF or normal and if you have a large appetite and fancy a challenge try Beryl's Big Breakfast. Perfectly formed menu can cater not only for breakfast but lunch and afternoon teas. Excellent value for money. We live quite locally and will make this our go to place for breakfast out. If you need a break whilst in the area this café has direct access off of the A259. Can't praise it enough

Waited ages for food only to be told they had forgotten about the order, after about an hour it turned up, absolutely tasteless, never again.

Beryl's is a perfect cafe. Excellent breakfast range at good prices, great coffee. It also has a top food hygiene rating and is dog-friendly. Goes to show the two things aren't mutually exclusive. Other eateries should take note. Keep up the great work Beryl's!

We hopwn dat Beryl in de keuken stond, het intbijt was prima. De onvangst en de gezelligheid minder. Van een warm welkom was geen sprake. En bij het afrekenen ook helaas geen tweede ontbijt halve prijs zoals gecommuniceerd op het menu (bleek na het narekenen in de auto) Gemiste kans!

Called in for lunch on a Sunday but didn't want a full roast. Opted for a breakfast sandwich - two eggs, two or more rashers of bacon and two sausages in wonderful fresh doorstep slices of bread. My wife had a bacon sandwich four plus rashers which was just as good. Best of all they serve these all day. The tea and coffee was good also.

We always pop in here on our way back from walking the dog at Camber Sands. We tend to visit between September and May as we have the dog and always find a seat. The fish finger sandwiches are a firm favourite as are the bacon and sausage butties. Very think slices of very fresh bread ! Dog friendly which we like, so I suggest if you don’t sit outside and the people who work there are always busy but always great to have a chat with.

Always passed this little place but never went in till today. What a lovely surprise. The girls were all lovely & cheerful. The food was gorgeous & the price really reasonable. Will defo be going back.

Stopped here for lunch on the way for a walk on Camber Sands. As it was December it was great to find somewhere that was (very) dog friendly and had excellent food at very reasonable prices.

Stopped in here for breakfast on our way home from nearby camber sands, so glad we did the sandwiches were lovely all freshly made with thick crusty bread would definitely recommend to others, take your dog too as they have special doggy ice cream but im afraid i cant review it as didn't try it!

We visited Beryls after a lovely dog walk at Rye Harbour. Great food, friendly service, very clean and dog friendly our dogs loved the doggie ice cream what a great idea so nice to know we can take the dog's there and they are actually made welcome, can't wait to visit again.

Whilst visiting some old friends we popped over to Rye and came across this cafe, which is situated alongside a Farm Shop and cafe.

Drove to Camber Sands from Hastings and discovered that out of season (late September) every cafe for miles was shut. Desperate for some sustenance before our visit to the beach - we headed back to the Rye area and happened upon Beryl's Cafe. Much to our delight they were dog-friendly inside and the staff were really welcoming. Can heartily recommend a Beryl's Breakfast Sandwich - served with the most fresh and delicious doorstep bread. Will definitely return should we find ourselves in the area.

It was a cold, early Autumn Sunday and the place felt cold. Not helped by the staff propping the door open front and back - thankfully, other visitors arrived and the door was closed. More visitors and the place did warm up.

My partner and I stopped for a bit of breakfast and were delighted we did. Our egg sandwich and sausage sandwich were both delicious, on lovely thick granary bread; the coffees were hot and tasty, and our encounter with the doggies made our day! It’s a very dog-friendly place, selling Doggie Ice cream too! The staff are friendly and welcoming.

We visited here on holiday - the food and drinks were pretty good. On the table I sat at you can get a direct view into their kitchen - and food prepration area. It was alright, but I probably wouldn't return again in the future.

Stopped off for a coffee today while cycling. Wanted to sit outside but tables all covered in food debris which had attracted wasps. Young lad behind till seemed baffled when I asked for a latte. He brought it over and just dumped it in front of me. No interaction. Awful coffee poorly made. Pity.

Situated between Camber and Rye on Salt Farm and we stopped for a sandwich which come as a door stop size and very nice and good service.

We were looking for a place to eat breakfast ! We saw the sign and went into Beryl’s cafe ! Very busy which is always good. The cafe is dog friendly so if you don’t like dogs then this isn’t for you ! The service was quick and the staff very friendly and helpful ! There is a big car park and a farm shop ! Beryl’s Cafe is situated at Salt Farm and offers a lovely range of food for all tastes. The cafe is fairly small but comfortable and feels very welcoming (dogs included)

Really good traditional breakfast. The sausages are very good and the brown bread is brilliant. I had the breakfast sandwich which meant I could skip lunch.

We visited Beryl's on two occasions, and both visits were great. The portion sizes are very generous, and the prices excellent! The staff are very friendly too. We would definitely eat there again.

My hubby and I stumbled across this place today on our way to Rye. What a great find! He had a full English breakfast and I had a delicious bacon sandwich on fantastic fresh bread. We both thought it was really good and value for money. What I will say though is this place is dog friendly , there were 3 inside when we visited, so if a dog is not to your liking then perhaps this place isn't for you.

Found the staff friendly helpful & very clean place. Ordered a goats quiche with salad expecting a quiche warmed up with a few token leaves.

Been here on a number of times now and starting to make a point of putting my head in the door when I'm in the area, lovely little cafe lovely food lovely setting and of course lovely ladies welcoming friendly and helpful, see you all soon again :-)

Popped in for some lunch on the way home from Ashford. Myself, my partner, my mother and a neighbors child we were babysitting and none of us could find a bad thing to say. Well priced, clean, great food, friendly staff. Nice young lad took our order and made sure it was all correct. Will definitely be back =]

This place is so friendly, clean, great staff. It is set on a farm with outdoor seating, the food is so fresh, from cakes to main mails, it is also not expensive. This will be our place to eat while on holiday here

Stopped in for a cuppa and cake but ended up staying for lunch as well as they welcomed the dog inside too. Tasty food and a great price. We also treated the dog to a doggy ice cream which went down well!

Hidden gem. Amazing full English! Very quick and friendly service. Free Wi fi if you need to catch up on work while enjoying the breakfast. Full vegetarian options on the menu as well! And ‘doggie ice cream’ available for our 4 legged friends!

Popped into Beryl's for lunch: brie and bacon panini for me, goat's cheese tart with salad for husband. Everything delicious and freshly made. Lovely staff, working under pressure as there had been a bit of an unexpected rush just before we arrived. Best moment was seeing the faces of children sitting at another table when their sandwiches arrived - I think they may have been bigger than their heads!

All fresh and made to order couldn't recommend enough. We had the big breakfast and it was all lovely very welcoming and the little dog is so cute 🤗

We were staying in Camber for a few days and popped into Beryl’s for lunch. So lucky we found this place! I was with my daughter and her toddler and baby, my elderly mother and sister and the staff were so friendly and obliging. The food was delicious and big portions. Thoroughly recommend Beryl’s if you’re in the area.

Popped in for lunch with a friend and two teenage boys. Portion sizes very generous and food freshly prepared so worth the wait. Food was delicious and managed to fill up the boys, which takes some doing!

We went to Beryl's for a late breakfast and was pleased to see they allowed dogs. We both had the full English and it was perfectly cooked. They also had a sausage for dogs on the menu so we had to buy one for Peggy! Very good food and friendly staff.

My friends car broke down, so while we waited for AA man we had snack in. this cafe. I had. lovely sausage sandwich. My friend. had. tea cake and jam and butter. Nice tea and. Latte for my friend. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Easy. to. park.
