Alishaan in Adur

Alishann was my visit to the restaurant, staff amazing so attentive, food outstanding will be going back soon.

As a group we each had the Sunday Banquet meal. Really fresh delicious food and plenty of it. Very good quality. Not busy but we had our own atmosphere. Friendly efficient service. I tried two things I hadn't had before Prawn Puree and Paneer Sag. Very flavoursome, not hot spice. Even the poppadoms were really nice quality. Would return if in the area. Very good value for great quality. Car park and on street.

Have eaten in the restaurant many times absolutely lovely staff and the food is amazing, had our first takeaway delivered tonight and we couldn’t fault it food was fantastic 10/10 best ever ! 🥰

Love it here, travelled over an hour passed the award winning masala city and it was worth it. Everyone is so nice. The food was great, and they served it on a hot plate so you can take your time and enjoy it. Definitely be back.

I was able to order via phone and sms which was perfect, enabling me to order around work commitments. This is what we ordered for 4 of us: King prawns Bhuna 12.55 Peshwari naan 3.55 Coconut rice 4.55 Onion bhaji 4.25 Mushroom Damsak 7.95 Chicken Tikka massala 9.95 Peshwari naan 3.55 Chicken Tikka massala 9.95 Plain rice 3.25 We all really enjoyed the flavours, with very positive feedback from the teenagers. I loved my King Prawn Bhuna, decent amount of prawns and the sauce was perfect with the Peshwari Naan, which was quite sweet. Onion Bhaji was lovely and crunch, again nice to go with the sauce. We will be ordering again. The only negative I could mention is the food was a bit milder than what we are used to, but they do say on their menu they can spice-to-taste, so we will add more heat on our next order. Definity not justifying a star drop for that though. Already looking forward to it! Keep up the good work Alishaan!

Onion bajis did not seam to be freshly cooked and not very warm. The bhuna curries were very bland and tasteless. Won't be buying from here again.

I usually order from Prithaj Raj but thought we'd try something new. Food arrived half hour late but its Friday. The customer service was very good when we spoke. Sundries great but then went downhill. The butter chicken was poor, I've had better from my friend who's a good cook, but isn't an Indian cuisine chef. As for the Makhani, it tasted like bbq sauce with ketchup. Whilst tender, no flavour, no spice, frankly a shocking dish. I would recommend it being removed from the menu immediately.

Delivery was way over an hour but at least was hot when arrived. Food however was shocking- so tasteless and watery

Wonderful evening, food was amazing, service was brilliant and very attentive, cannot fault the lovely people or restaurant.

Five of us went to Alishaan for dinner. The food was excellent, however I would have given them 5 stars but the service was very very slow. It took us more than three hours for them to serve dinner.

Boxing Day delivery for the four of us, on time and delicious as always.

I was given a chicken tikka starter whereas I had ordered lamb. This is why I only scored 3 on quality. Getting the order correct is a basic requirement.

Really good dhansak and shashlik. Best saag paneer I’ve had for a long time. Great quality ingredients 👍

Twice I’ve ordered from here now. First time my ordered didn’t show and just eat and the restaurant were very helpful. So I ordered again and it was amazingly fresh and tasty 🤤

Went here on the 19th November 2023 for my granddaughters 13th birthday meal and what can I say still amazing staff food spot on not been here for about 15 years but still on the top of my list

Good food I all way ordered from takeaway

Me and my boyfriend came here for our 1 year anniversary and had a wonderful time! The staff were all so lovely and accommodating. We were greeted very quickly and everyone was very friendly. Me and my boyfriend ordered the onion bhajis for starters and although there was only 2 they were MASSIVE. For mains we got a vegetable phall and chicken bhuna and shared a chapati and a portion of rice. All the food was so delicious, we ended up taking our leftovers home. In addition, the service was fast and efficient. We were so stuffed after and found it to be very good value for money! Thank you so much Alishaan for making our anniversary memorable :)

It’s a family restaurant so it’s meant they work hard for the name and the food . I ordered chicken tikka biryani it’s was fabulous and delicious i ordered it again the next day . The restaurant was super clean and the staff was always smiling and helpful with your order . The portion is more than enough and ingredients was high grade and amazing. The wifi was very fast . I really recommend this restaurant.

Have been going to the Alishaan for the best part of 15 years and it never disappoints. They have a wide range of curries, starters and side dishes to choose from and banquet deals on Wednesdays and Sundays. There is plenty of seating at the front and the back of the store which is comfortable and attractive. The service is always next to none with friendly staff ready and waiting to help at any juncture. If you love curries, then you simply must try the Alishaan.

As a curry house , I'd say alishaan is in the top 1% . It has a wide range of curry's, starters and sides . After my last visit I picked complete random dishes and I have to say , best thing I ever did . Amazing flavours , Amazing customer service and a great place to eat and catch up with friends .

Disgusting service. my grandad who has been a vegetarian for 73 years was served a chicken curry after ordering a vegetable curry for delivery. It had vegetable curry on the tub so he had some thinking it would of course be as it said. When i called to complain, the staff were incredibly rude and said he should have checked before he ate, laughed down the phone, said i was embarrassing myself for asking to speak to higher up, and called me annoying when i asked again after them refusing to give me any kind of contact for higher up. We are disgusted at how they dealt with the situation and will not be returning.

Me and a couple of friends went out for a curry a couple of nights ago to celebrate a birthday. And when we arrived, the man was rude to us when sitting down. Took over 40 mins just to get drinks and over 1.5 hours for food! When the food arrived, there was either a bit of plastic or toenail in it as it was really hard to chew so I spat it out. Called the man over and he didn’t do anything about it. He avoided the questions and asked us to finish and leave. ***Absolutely awful business. Wouldn’t recommend***

Food was lukewarm, first time I've experienced this before from this restaurant, ordered on regular basis from here via Just Eat.

Never had a bad meal here. Food is so nice, such good flavour and food is always hot. Staff are extremely friendly too.

First time eating in and a bit disappointed. It was a large all male group which probably didn't help! My favourite take away by far so maybe my expectations were too high. I will definitely be back as the food is just sublime.

Good food as always. One dish was missing but the restaurant went out of their way to get it to us and then threw in a side dish as an apology. This is still my go to Indian restaurant and highly recommended.
