Ordered a takeaway on Thurs 25/07/24 using uber eats buy 1 get one free offer for Chicken tikka masala. I also bought 2 pilau rice, 2 poppadoms and a peshawari naan. The delivery was on time but the food was not good. I've never left a negative feedback for any restaurant before but this was that bad. The rice was bland, the curry was watery, seperating on the plate and did not taste fresh. (Most likely has something to do with the 2 for 1 offer). The peshawari naan tasted like off butter had been used to make it which was rancid, as soon as I could figure out what the aweful taste was I imediately stopped eating it (such a shame because peshawari naan is one of my all time favourite foods). Hopefully my stomach holds up 😬 I still have a portion of masala and pilau rice that will be going uneaten because I would not feed this to my partner when she gets home from work later. So disappointed 😞

Collected a takeaway this evening, decided to try out Aji Bhaji and was not disappointed! My partner and I enjoyed our vegetarian masala, pilau rice and garlic naan. This is going to be our new regular Indian takeaway

Had a takeaway from here this evening , so delicious I am very happy to find a great Indian. Needed a squeeze of lemon on the chicken chat puri but that’s my only feedback. It was incredibly tasty, served hot and fresh .. loved it !!!

This was our first visit to Aji Bhaji. We had been interested since we picked up their extensive menu and found that the restaurant was now open. People don't seem to know that this is now a restaurant as well as a take-away. Poppadums were fresh and crispy. Our starters of chicken tandoori were the best tandoori we have eaten in years. Perfect and served with a fresh lettuce and onion salad. We chose the Chicken Naga, very hot and delicious, King Chilli prawn, with a fairly hot and very fruity sauce. People must get to know just how good this restaurant is. The food is better than the majority of Indian places we have eaten at in the last few years, and prices are very reasonable. Service by a charming waitress was perfect and friendly. The chef must be congratulated on a perfect Indian meal. Put the word out. Great restaurant, great food.

Since it's been recently taken over the food and decor have certainly got better, but the prices are absolutely extortionate and totally not justified. We recently ate for two of us and the cost was over £80+ which is absurd for a curry. We would rather travel to Ashford or Romney Marsh for an on par curry and even factoring in the petrol would still only cost £50-60 at a push. £13+ for a curry, £5 for rice, 99p per poppadom and 99p charge pp for sundries. The costs really need to be revised as feel like this is losing alot of business for the new owners with locals. I appreciate it's a rural setting so the footfall isn't as high as Ashford but to remain competitive and entice people to travel to try the I will say superb food, service and ambience really needs a rethink
