The best restaurants in Newport Pembrokeshire West Wales

Not very good and horrendously expensive!!

Perfect after a good walk. Brought the dog.

Despite being frequent visitors to Newport we had never visited here before. I imagined it was a large canteen style place for some reason. We were looking for somewhere for lunch today and the smell coming from here welcomed us in. Inside it is a small, friendly and warm cafe with really lovely painting on the wall. I ordered meat balls and my partner the curry. Both were stunning, filling and I had lots of extra veg and salad with mine. I’m sad now it’s taken me so long to discover and can’t wait to revisit next time we come to Newport. The prices are not low but you can tell the food is home made, tastes amazing and has the best quality ingredients which felt well worth paying for.

Tasty food in a good location. Food is reasonably priced with portions good. We had chicken ceasar salad and steak and chips. Steak was cooked to perfection .

Stopper here for lunch twice this week, great service and exceptional food, pie, burger and fish and chips all very tasty and good portions without being silly. Nice to see some local beers on tap. Great outside space, including nice undercover area with heaters for the chillier days. Very dog friendly, Cooper loved his ‘Sir Woofingtons’ treats

Excellent fish and chips. Great to be able to get one gluten free fish and chips - even took care to ask if coeliac so gave confidence. Also great cakes!

Visited the cellar bar this evening for drinks- wow!! We were served and looked after by Quinn, who was amazing. His knowledge of the cocktails (which were delicious) was superb, 10/10 charming, friendly service. He went above and beyond to make our evening very special. We had a lovely curry here. The staff were really attentive. The meal was quite big so we couldn't finish it all. We'll definitely come back.

A Nando’s is a Nando’s so you get what it says on the tin. This experience was no different and delivered. Having said that, the restaurant was cold, the toilets were freezing (no soap in men’s toilet) and the music was uncomfortably loud. Considering that it was nearly empty, the attention to detail was surprisingly poor.
