The best restaurants serving Turkish food in Thurrock East of England

We come here almost every week and we don’t order from the cheep menu Today my meal came cold was sent back and came back the same temperature I ate half of the meal as had plans and didn’t have time for my meal to be in and out I tried to explain to the guy and he just didn’t care telling me it had been warmed up for 6 mins and then another 4 mins sorry but we don’t come in to pay £40 for 2 microwave meal. We are paying for freshly cooked food. Very disappointed with the food service was no better. When the women are on we don’t have any issues but when this guy is on he’s so rude and stick up and his response to everything was “I’ll talk to the owners so next time” sorry your service sticks the food was cold what reality do you think am coming back!!!

I believe this pub has just reopened, and it certainly seems to have a lot of new fittings. It was lively when we arrive, about 6:00pm mainly male customers. The choice of beers and wines was very good. Disappointed that the new pub chain do not support food prepared within the pub, but I was advised there would be "Burger van" outside which will provides a variety of food and there was no objection of you wanted to bring your own food into the pub. There is planned entertainment this coming weekend, Fri Sat and Sun so encouraging sign from this freshly re opened Pub. It is a very large pub, with many TV screens so sport lovers are well catered for. The garden area, obviously freshly laid out had a good supply of typical pub Table / bench arrangements. So overall, encouraging start and first impressions suggest this pub will be a good "local"

Got food and was not what I wanted

Disgusting display of utter disregard for local residents. Constant displays & evidence of anti social behaviour (direct) encouraging & allowing anti social behaviour (indirect) loud music, shouting, car violations & utter disrespect for anyone who lives in the area. If you value your neighbourhood - DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. ignorant owners ignorant staff - & rinding their privilege to the utter detriment of their neighbourhood. Time they went. And the locals will be making sure do.

Nice place for a good Turkish meal... Went after school with the kids... Had a family meal and came back with half as it was quite a lot of food for 4... The atmosphere was a little quiet due to midweek blues but overall good food and service and would definitely recommend a visit etc.
