The best restaurants in Thurrock East of England

I thought that I would use this Bangladeshi takeaway as it is opened recently. The takeaway does all of the ‘usuals’ however there are dishes that I haven’t tried before. So I ordered the Modhu Lamb which is chunks of Lamb with honey and mint mixed with baby new potatoes in a sauce. Wow what a tasty dish it is, superb. The other dish that I’ve never had is Niramish which is fried mixed vegetables with herbs. Another tasty dish. I also had a Keema Nan and mushroom pilau rice. I thought that on a very busy Saturday evening that I would be waiting ages but the food was ready and brought out to me within 10 minutes, so very happy with the service. Anokha has all the ‘usuals’ but also authentic Bangladeshi dish’s. The service was very good, the food was superb and plentiful and the prices very reasonable.

Texture, taste and appearance of these brownies are spot on and they have brownies in every form you can imagine 😁 I would definitely recommend to try them!

Best seafood place in the country without a doubt

I walked in yesterday for the first time during lunch, staff was very welcoming. Good was delicious and I’m about to order agin today. I can’t fault in any way very satisfied

Absolute cracker of a cafe. Some might say a hidden gem but if you know you know. Always our go to cafe when we have a day off together - fast, fresh, fantastic food.

It’s one of the best restaurants in the world prob better than Macdonalds workers r also very nice and food is also very good especially chicken burger and chips

"The Kara Lounge" I had a fantastic dining experience at The Kara Lounge last weekend. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm ambiance and a stylishly designed interior. The service was top-notch – our server was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations from the menu. The food was incredible! I ordered the signature karaoke wings, which were spicy and flavorful, and the grilled steak was cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the presentation was impressive. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is that the music volume was a bit loud, making conversation slightly challenging at times. However, it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment. Overall, I'd highly recommend The Kara Lounge for a fun night out with friends or a date. First time coming in and I've had one of the best chilli con carne ever. Props to the chef. 👍
