Beautiful Turkish restaurant. We visited as a group of 13 to celebrate my Mums 70th Birthday. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are friendly at all times. we were served by Fuat, who was dedicated, friendly and ready to help us, even bringing the birthday cake we had with us out at the end of the meal with a sparkle candle. Exceptional service, great food & drinks, and an lovely atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed the lunch and we will be returning soon, Thanks Again Fuat, for the exceptional customer service.

We had the pleasure of dining at The Kara, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is fantastic—stylish, modern, and thoughtfully designed. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional level of cleanliness. Not many restaurants can boast sparkling chandeliers, fingerprint-free mirrors, spotless shiny surfaces, and not a single cobweb, even in the highest corners—impressive attention to detail! The food was absolutely delicious and arrived in record time. Our waiter (unfortunately, we didn’t catch his name) was outstanding—polite, knowledgeable, and clearly a seasoned professional with 18 years of experience in the industry. His recommendations were spot-on, making it easy to relax and trust his expertise. The Kara is a must-visit if you’re looking for a restaurant that excels in both ambiance and service. Highly recommended!

i did book a table over the phone for 3 person, when i went there apparently no one did not about my booking and the lady was absolutely rude to me and didn’t treat me kindly at all because of that i felt uncomfortable and went somewhere alse! i believe was miss communication between them!

The restaurant left me amused by their delicious choices of their luxurious cuisine, wonderful employees, especially beautiful atmosphere and amazing music taste. This is now my all time favourite restaurant, I will be coming back here.

I visited on 23rd of December for my husband's birthday . Atmosphere was good but the food was served was not great in quality. We ordered platter for £139 . All meat pieces were not fully cooked. Literally blood was dripping from meat. On making complaint lady apologise and took it for re cook. When she brought it back it was badly burnt. She was trying to convince us that turkish food served like it(not fully cooked) and we would've told her while ordering that we want it fully cooked. When I told her that we are not new to turkish cuisine then she accepted her mistake and offered us free complimentary turkish tea.over all I was so disappointed price is very high as compared to other great turkish restaurants like Dia Bakar,Sultan etc. Will not recommend or visit again.

Went last night for a work do. The food was amazing. We had the meat platter, about £150. We had 3 of them. It was the most tasty chicken and lamb I've ever eaten!! The bread and dips was also very tasty and moreish. Service was great! The decor is.....interesting. Live singer all night was a bit odd but wasn't annoying.

Had a very special night at The Kara with my fiance, we were served by a very friendly waiter called Gurkan who was very attentive to our needs. We were made to feel welcomed and for that reason we will definitely be back.

This place is a ripoff🤮🤮🤮🤮. Never gone try again, one of the worst Turkish restaurants ever I came across. Basically the photos and the 4.7 points deceived me and many more, those has been once, never gone go again I can write all day and still nothing been said, the local has been disappointed ☹️ already. a Turkish lady working on Sainsbury’s next to the restaurant she warned me the place is so expensive and service and service charge are ridicules!!! but I still trying new places as usual. However she was so accurate. While I was there a customer travelled 20 minutes and asked for take a way and they refused. I heard ”We don’t do take a way”. I understood basically they want to rip you off 😣 come and dine in…. Never again and I know so many nice Turkish restaurants around so reasonable but be careful about this one!!!!!! Never recommended!!!!🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮.

The food at this restaurant is really good and full of flavour. The staff are quite friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is really nice, it's normally quite busy especially on a Thursday Saturday evening. The restaurant itself is well decorated and has a touch of class. The prices are fairly reasonable. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.

It was a lovely experience, a restaurant with great ambience and music! Unfortunately, the expectations were not met. The service was sluggish and unfriendly, you will not feel welcome in this restaurant. The kebab was smelly and not tender and juicy at all. The desserts tasted worse than in the store. The prices are too high and the taste does not justify it.

We had a table for 12 to host our Daddy’s Birthday and family from Canada, it’s was a beautiful experience. This is our favourite restaurant, great atmosphere, tasty food and friendly staff. Gurkan served us and he’s so professional and friendly.

Came here on a sunday with my husband with no reservation, we got seated straight away. Ordered the calamari, sarma lamb beyti and mixed grill, food was amazing, can taste the fresh quality. My strawberry mojito was 90% ice so that was disappointing and our waiter smelt very badly of BO sadly.

The food was good but the space between tables is soo tight. It's like sardines in a tin can. If they are busy the staff definitely try and rush you along which isn't so accommodating

The Ambiance, the staff, the service and the food was excellent! Our super friendly waiter FUAT made our dinner experience very pleasant. First time visitor at KARA, will definitely be returning. Oh loved the music in the background, cool RnB sounds soothing our souls. I had lamb chops and Lamb ribs. The meat was tender and full of flavour served with a side of rice and lots of veg and salad. Overall satisfied customer.

Brought a party of 15 people to celebrate my Sons 15th birthday and he absolutely loved it, 5 stars to Fuat who took care of our party. We will definitely be back soon

Feedback on My Recent Experience at Kara Restaurant I recently booked a reservation at Kara Restaurant to celebrate my son’s birthday, paying £100 a month in advance. However, the experience fell short of my expectations, especially considering it was a special occasion for our family. Upon arrival, I was informed that we would only be allowed to stay for two and a half hours. This time restriction was not mentioned when I booked, nor was I notified at any point beforehand. Given that we were celebrating a birthday, I requested an additional 30 minutes to cut and enjoy the birthday cake, but this request was denied. The manager’s response to my request was disappointing. His manner was unprofessional and unfriendly, which was upsetting on such a special day. While the food was delicious and the general service acceptable, the manager’s behavior left a negative impression and diminished our enjoyment of the occasion. I ultimately had to take the birthday cake home, and this experience has impacted my view of Kara Restaurant. I would be hesitant to return in the future. I hope this feedback can help in improving customer experience for future guests. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I had the mixed shish kebab and the quality was excellent. The chicken liver I had to start was maybe even better. Staples such as the hummus and falafel are well executed. Complimentary bread is a nice touch and it's great bread, too. All in all I wholeheartedly recommend it, I would definitely eat here again if I was in the area.
