Man Must Wack African Restaurant in Thurrock

A breath of fresh air. First time visiting this restaurant with my husband. We were running late due to road closure but the owner was very patient and kind. The cleanliness and customer service, attention to details with the aim to please was very impressive. The food was finger licking good and the atmosphere was a delight. It's been a long time since I left a restaurant feeling on such a high. Please keep up the good work . It makes all the difference

Honestly if you have this food, all your life problems will be sorted. The hostess will take care of you. Textures - incredible. Flavour- mind blowing. If you’ve never experienced authentic Nigerian food before, this is where you begin. You’re welcome in advance

I should have known what to expect when the place was empty. We had to wait 25 minutes for a take away and there was zero… zero people in the restaurant. There was no delivery drivers collecting etc. when we saw the amount they sold us for £16 I was so glad I had ordered an extra fish for £6. It was not enough for an adult male portion. We had to add rice when we got home. The restaurant is very very stingy. The jollof rice was hard. Fish and plantain was fine. But not worth the price. I ate a plantain piece because I was so hungry before I took the picture. Shameful portions.

Honestly, the food here is incredible. Large portions with so much flavour. The service is also great, very kind and interactive. Good music and nice setting. I will definitely be returning!

I went to go dine there for mother's day along with my sisters, and the service was good. Eric and Titi were both friendly and welcoming. Not to mention the food which was superb and tasty. I definitely recommend to come here.

This place was absolutely a sheer pleasure to visit. Big up to Titi and Eric, as the customer service was truly amazing, such patience shown by Titi as myself and family members were quite indecisive of which dish to go for. The food was absolutely delicious, mouth-watering and divine! I enjoyed my Okra dish very much, most delicious I’ve ever tried from an African restaurant before. The Eforiro was truly sensational as well and Eguse was delicious too! Best Mother’s Day ever, she loved it! - We shall most certainly be back!!

So got drawn by the quirky name, decided to go down there rather than order for delivery, thought id check out the place. I was visibly impressed by the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. The food was superb, got some turkey suya to eat there and some take away of Egusi and bitter leaf. I would highly recommend the food. And I am very particular with my pallet.

This is an absolutely fantastic 👏 restaurant in Grays. Food is freshly cooked and served nice and delicious. Attended the Valentines evening on 17th February. Nice array of menu and good music by the DJ. Food is reasonably priced for in house freshly cooked dishes. Kudos 👏 to Eric and Titi for their hospitality and care of customers.

The jollof rice was very delicious, with adequate pepper and seasoning. The egusi soup was also nice and the eba was fluffy and smooth. Keep up the good job 👍🏾
