This tiny restaurant offers a great choice of Thai food, well cooked and presented and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed the mixed starters and the Massuman curry, which was excellent. Not to mention the Jasmine tea! It was so good, we went again later in our holiday. You do need to book, and don't arrive too early as its popular and there's no room for people to wait for a table, so you'll be sent out to return later!

Really good food very reasonably priced in a fantastic location served by very attentive hosts. One of the best experiences of our holiday on Arran

Turned up at this restaurant at 13,50 only to be told very sternly by what I can only describe as a completley disgusting person."we are closed at 14.30" I looked at my watch and said that's OK 40 minutes is plenty of time The disgusting person looked very upset at this and stormed past me to the only occupied table in the building.I said to my daughter who had struggled up their stairs on crutches ...Let's go I cannot stand that guy's attitude he seems really pissed off that we are sitting down We left and will NEVER return to that disgusting atmosphere

Today me and my friends went to the Phu Siam for dinner and it was so great. I got the Rad Prig with chicken and spicy chips as the side. The food was splendid and the sauce added a grand flavour. Brad, our waiter was so lovely and welcoming and made us feel as though we could ask anything when needed. Lovely service and great experience overall. LOVED the interior design and would DEFINETLY go again.

Stayed here for three nights. It’s a nice and very clean guest house. The couple who manage the accommodation are wonderful and very hard working. Our room was comfy and thank goodness it had blackout curtains. The pillows were way too soft, so new pillows would be worth while. The room had tea and coffee provided. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the continental spread was amazing lots of fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt, juice. You could also choose a hot breakfast. The wifi was not very good but I believe that’s the case on the Scottish islands. The Guest house is about 10 minutes walk to the centre of Lerwick. The Guest house also has a Thai restaurant which was quite convenient and the food good. Again the managers of the guest house operate this restaurant. Overall would stay here again but only for a short term stay. I recommend a stay here as two managers were lovely people and rooms quite comfortable.
