The best restaurants serving Thai food in South West

Wonderful thai food from this place. Its such a shame that she suddenly left the market. We was looking forward to having more but to our horror she has left. I will be keeping an eye out to see where this lady goes, would be such a shame if she stopped cooking for us all.

The Thai Hut are usually at the market at Swanage every Friday although I get the impression they might have not been there for a while. They had not sold out of anything yet on this visit so I had the Penang Tofu Curry with Steamed Jasmine Rice. I think the curry might be a different recipe to the one I had here before but it was very good. The chef is friendly and provides a good service.

Amazing drinks, made quickly and very high quality! Shame we didn't live closer as I would be a regular visitor. A small gem, not to be missed!

First time here for me after being recommended. Cafeteria style restaurant, water on the table which is great. The food came quickly and was hot, portions big and fresh ingredients, the squid starter was excellent value. You can order 1,2 or 3 chillies heat level, I went for 3 and it was very tasty, I enquired with the waitress and they do go higher, so next time I'll try a 5, and there will be a next time. Went again and just as good food excellent a d staff super friendly

I’ve been here about 5 times now and have been amazed every time! I’ve tried a variety of the dishes and have been impressed with every single one. The food is authentic, very flavourful and they are generously portioned. The service is amazing, and every time we have come we have been greeted by very friendly staff, who are always very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is lovely, with warm fire-heaters and a generally cosy vibe. Highly recommend the Pad Thai and the Green Curry!

This restaurant is such a gem! The staff are all incredibly friendly and give such professional service. The food is all delicious with good portion sizes. I will definitely be coming back.

We regularly get takeaways from Renoos and we couldn't recommend enough. It's authentic and every well priced. Yummy every single time!

Great food ,good service and friendly staff .all food cooked fresh ,sauces are delicious and portions are a good size .lt does get busy so l would advise to book .The prawns were delicious and plenty of them .l just wished l lived near .we were on a break

We got our portions and ate them overlooking the sea sat on benches on the green beside the Aquarium. Generous portions of Pad Thai and Pad Kae Mao, tasted perfect, just like we ate in Thailand, and served by cheerful staff.

The Yard has always been a favourite of ours. We have recently had one of the best meals ever. Thanks to all the staff, who are superb.

Second time we have visited here, working on the island and this restaurant is the highlight of the trip, the prawn panang is absolutely to die for. The service is fantastic and the staff are incredibly friendly. Would highly recommend to anybody 5*
