iFood Thai Taste in Exeter

First time here for me after being recommended. Cafeteria style restaurant, water on the table which is great. The food came quickly and was hot, portions big and fresh ingredients, the squid starter was excellent value. You can order 1,2 or 3 chillies heat level, I went for 3 and it was very tasty, I enquired with the waitress and they do go higher, so next time I'll try a 5, and there will be a next time. Went again and just as good food excellent a d staff super friendly

Delicious and fresh Thai food, love it

The food was authentic and really tasty, and the staff was polite and friendly. They had a variety of dishes, very good prices and quick service. I loved my Pad Thai with chicken and prawns! I'll definitely come back! However, perhaps they could improve the deco, as it's quite plain.

Amazing authentic Thai food with a wonderful range and the nicest staff. The owner is lovely and the rate at which they prepare and cook the food, freshly in front of you never ceases to amaze. Whatever you choose, you'll have a wonderful meal and definitely be back for more. You should absolutely give it a try if you haven't already.

This hotel is located in a busy area in the center of the Exeter University District, with a large number of college students and citizens, so the flow of people is basically at an advantage. This restaurant is separated into a takeout area and a dine-in area. The takeout area is often crowded waiting for the food to come out, while the dine-in area often has customers queuing up to be seated. This shows that the food quality and service level of this restaurant are among the best, and the service staff The number of people and kitchen staff are also sufficient, regardless of Takeout or dine-in customers can quickly get their food and enjoy Thai cuisine. Whether it is appetizers such as fried shrimps, fried spring rolls, or padthai, tom yum gong, tom yum gong fried rice, or beef and chicken fried noodles, they are also full of aroma and will make you enjoy eating! I believe many customers will also recommend each other This Thai restaurant is for family, friends and classmates to try.

Good food, fast service, clean.

Some of the best Thai food I have ever had. The food comes out very promptly, and the staff are always very attentive and friendly. The food prices are very reasonable, and curries include rice in the price, which other restaurants tend to exclude. You also get the option to choose the spice level for some dishes, and food portions being very generous. This is one of the best restaurants in Exeter - thank you!

Excellent food quality at a decent price. The soup is delicious and the side dishes are very nice too. It is worth the walk up Sidwell street just to savour their dishes.

Great food. Prices are mid, but you essentially pay for what could feed two (and a half?) people. We ordered noodles with chicken and noodles without chicken (very creative!) and both portions were amazing. I had a started of fried squid/calamari and that was really good too. 4 stars for atmosphere as there wasn’t much of it. Felt like a low key diner, which serves amazing food. That’s good.. because it is a low key diner, which serves amazing food!

I have tried it a couple of times, but the food is not particularly tasty.and the chicken is quite dry. There are definitely better options nearby.

Still our favourite Thai restaurant anywhere and we are lucky to have it close by.. Great food and lovely staff.. you don't need any more. But just to let you know.. easy to get a table, you will be seated, when you're ready to order go up to the counter, place your order inc drinks (only non alcoholic but hot, cold and now good boba drinks aswell) then pay upfront which is a bit unusual but it works perfectly, just view it the same as ordering a takeaway... check the online menu before you go, to make sure they serve what you want that night, Sunday has a slightly reduced menu but the favourite Thai dishes are available all week.. we always order 2 dishes each so we have lots of choice and then we take half home in takeaway containers (free of charge) so 1 individual dish is more than enough food as the portion size is very good,( the pictured plates are large dinner plates..) also the starters are very tasty, especially the satay chicken and salt n pepper squid. We cannot fault the food or service as the food is always perfectly cooked, hot and arrives quick.. Try it you will not be disappointed

super authentic thai restaurant. the portions were huge!! however they definitely didn’t compromise on quality for quantity. the food was AMAZING, the pad thai is comparable to the pad thai in bangkok. the green curry was really tasty and so flavorful, same with the bangkok egg fried rice. each portion can comfortably feed two people, maybe even three. the thai tea was also pretty authentic, not too sweet which i liked. service was friendly and quick. overall was a great restaurant that ill definitely be coming back to!

I enjoyed the massaman curry with rice. The spring rolls had been bought in but were ok. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Knew nothing of this place, found it by accident and now a convert. The food was just amazing, fantastically priced, fresh, hot and served quickly. The entire premises were immaculate and a joy to eat in. Wife and I were well and truly sated with the portion sizes and left there safe in the knowledge that we'll be back.

Good value for money. Great food as far as restaurants in Exeter go. Not a place you sit in for a long time, but generally comfortable and lots of space to sit. Can get especially busy on Fridays and Saturdays, dinner time. Definitely worth recurring visits.

First time here. Water was on the table pre- order which was great ( in carafe style) .food served by knowledgeable and very friendly staff members. Food came quickly and was served hot. Portions were big and we could share everything between ourselves.

Tasty Thai food. The food is of a relatively big portion, although you can always take it home.

Met with some friends here after they had travelled down from near London and it was great in these circumstances as we could order straightaway and didn’t have to wait too long for food. There’s good level, wheelchair access into the place if needed. I didn’t go to the toilet do I don’t know if there is a wheelchair accessible toilet… We immediately got a table for six people when we arrived at 8pm on a Friday night. There’s a few quirks to this place - it shuts at 9pm and there’s a definite push for this which is fair enough but did feel a little rushed as we only arrived at 8pm… Secondly it doesn’t serve alcohol which is a shame as the food is heavenly and a glass of wine would have gone down a treat with it, but it wasn’t the end of the world. All six of us very much enjoyed our food - I had chicken pad Thai as apparently they don’t do a vegetarian version - really?! In spite of not being my first choice it was really tasty and I boxed up half of it to take home as the portion was generous. All in all a good, lively, friendly place to go for a quick bite.

This is my absolute favourite place to eat in Exeter, delicious food, generous portions, quick service and lovely too. I’m always bringing friends here and they say they wish they had somewhere like this near them. I couldn’t rate it higher!

Following a vigorous three-hour tennis session, my sharpened appetite led me to explore a highly recommended Thai spot in Exeter. Greeted promptly and seated with efficiency, I indulged in prawn crackers, crispy wontons, and a standout chicken dish. Each component of the meal was a culinary triumph, delivering a feast that challenged even my considerable hunger. The spices were exquisitely balanced, the crispy chicken was a delight, and the rice perfectly cooked, all within an inviting atmosphere. With excellent service rounding out the experience, it’s without doubt that I’ll be returning to this Thai gem.

Had a tofu and mixed vegtable Tom Yum fried rice dish. Absolutely delicious ! Huge portions (I've had this a few times before and had to ask for a takeaway box !) Staff are really friendly and welcoming ✨️can get really busy during lunch and evening hours so would recommend either turning up early or late afternoon 🍜

OMG, I have thought about my Massaman curry so many times since. Absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend this place.

Authentic, well priced, and fast culinary experience. We ordered the chicken satay, green curry with tofu & veg, and stir fry noodles with cashews and chicken. All of the dishes were good, but nothing out of the world, but for the price it was a great deal. The service was also really lovely, and speedy, we didn't wait long at all to receive our food. Also great that we got free tap water, which was already placed on every table. Would definitely go back, it's one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Exeter.

Although they let you know what the vegan options are, they contradict the labelling they have on the menu. E.g. egg noodles but then get told the noodles don't have egg in. I had the Bangkok fried rice made vegan with tofu and veg, but the amount of veg is disappointing (I got 3 slices of green pepper, and a couple of slices of onion and spring onion) and they still charge you the same amount even though they are taking ingredients out of it. It would be nicer if they could just make a separate vegan/vegetarian menu and make the prices different. The food tasted ok, just feels disappointing when it's not the full dish.

The best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand, the Tom yum was outstanding, friendly service and great portions. Can’t recommend enough. More like a canteen style but with service, a bit chaotic at peak time of 7:30pm but you won’t regret it!
