Rosa's Thai Exeter in Exeter

Super atmosphere. Lovely busy restaurant. We were served by the wonderful Norbert.. a fellow Hungarian! He was super attentive without being over baring. Would highly recommend especially with the special after 5pm £20 offer. We really enjoyed the evening.

An outstanding customer service for the fact that staffs were very polite, friendly and accommodating which made us really feel extra comfortable dining. Isabela has assisted us thoroughly even before we needed further assistance, and as well to Bianca! Together with friends decided to dine for lunch today. We all tried their noodle soup. And, they serve Bubble teas! Also, they have available chilli oil per table for extra spicy flavour. The cleanliness and art of the “loo’s” is an extra! Looking forward to our next meal visit.

Amazing place! I came here for my daughter’s 13th birthday and we came with family. Some incredible food, the calamari was to die for and when something says it’s spicy, they aren’t playing around! One of the best restaurants in Exeter. 5 stars

Lovely food and service, but I didn't notice any music unfortunately.

First time dining here and I’m huge Thai fan, so hoping for good things. Exceeded those expectations by some margin - delicious food full of flavour and some unexpected delights, like the okra and broccoli and the service from Norbert was outstanding. We commented how his style was personable and the right balance of being available but not invasive. Highly recommended - as is the Dragon Star Martini!

We ordered take away and it was yummy. Food was hot and fresh and flavorful. Could have a larger portion considering the price but would eat again.

We enjoyed the food here: probably better than I was expecting from a chain restaurant. However, the wait for the main course was not acceptable at around 40 minutes. The waiter said it was because of the large table being served before us, but in fact it was because of the steady stream of Deliveroo orders being prepared, clearly prioritised over restaurant customers. They add 12.5% service charge to your order, which makes the bill fairly steep. I know I could have not paid this but it's not fair on the waiters, who aren't responsible for the delay. I'd like to return but am rather deterred by this experience.

I love Rosas and have eaten at most alone across London however tonight I was turned away purely because I was alone. There were plenty of empty duo seats left. When I challenged the front of house he admitted that one would take up the space of two. The menu looked incredible also so a dissapointing experience. Will think twice about choosing Rosas again

Dined at Rosa’s Thai this evening. Our server Izzy was fabulous and incredibly attentive, provided a wonderful recommendation of the sweet corn fritters as a vegan dish. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, will be returning.

Had a kraphaow Kai and Padthai which were exceptional reminded me of home. Dylan was very helpful

The food is not well executed... In addition, there are dishes that are poor in quantity and others that are too abundant. Also the service was slow. I don't know why it has such a high rating summary, it's not cheap either. we will not return

First visit to a Rosa's Thai but I was disappointed. The service was really slow, we waited 25 minutes for starters and then another 20 minutes for mains. When the food arrived it was below average and the portions very stingy for the high prices they charge. Save your money and go to literally any other Thai restaurant in the city, you will get better food and better service.

Food was great with a really positive atmosphere. Kate out server was really attentive and very helpful, overall a great experience.

I have no complaints about the food however a delivery arrived while we were eating lunch and they jammed the back door open causing a freezing cold breeze directly one to our table and my 1 year old. I asked the waitress if the door could be not fully ajar as it was a very cold breeze directly on my 1 year old. She didn't understand and told me the delivery would not be able to come in if the door wasn't fully open. She was rather abrupt and didn't listen to me. A male member of staff commented how cold it was and tried to ensure the door was shut in between the delivery coming in. It didn't make for a pleasant experience sitting in our coats to eat

Both my partner and I had the Chicken flat noodles. Terribly bland, chicken dry and not freshly cooked. Presliced chicken definitely. My partner although he ate it declared it was one of the worst meals. I didn't eat mine, it came with a chicken bone. Shame really.

What a disappointing experience. We were sat and then watched everyone around us get sat and served and have their food ordered and delivered before we were even spoken to! Though the main food was quiet, they forgot to bring the side orders. Very disappointing because of the poor service and the forgotten dishes - I would not recommend.

Loved the place. We came for a team night out and everyone was amazed by food and the atmosphere there. Lovely service by Kate, she coped well with all busy demands. Thank you Drinks could be a little stronger though and food a little bit milder but still super happy we choses Rosa's for the dinner. Thank you.

Excellent & authentic food (I lived in Bangkok for 4 years). Aubergine dish delicious. Nice lunch special menu.

I wish I had got the name of our waiter because he made this a really great experience. I went with a friend for an early supper on November 27. I love Thai food but it was my first time at this restaurant. I was impressed with the menu, and particularly the special offer of two courses and a drink for £20 - this suited us perfectly as I went for the offer, she just had a main course, and we shared my starter. The meal: shared summer rolls, then green chicken curry for me and king prawn pad Thai for my friend. There was a slight delay with my friend's main course - I was really impressed that our waiter came up and apologised for this, rather than just hoping we wouldn't notice! The starter was lovely, light and fresh with a delicious sauce. The curry was very rich and creamy with the coconut milk sauce - I couldn't eat it all - but it had a delicious flavour, and was not too hot. My friend clearly enjoyed the pad Thai - I should have asked for a taste. Maybe I'll order it next time. When our waiter came with the bill we had a lovely chat and really appreciated his friendly manner. I'm so used to restaurant staff being over-attentive and trying to up-sell all the time, which is just annoying and obvious - this was much more informal and natural. The reason I'm writing this review is partly to make sure the company appreciates their excellent waiter - give the guy a bonus! But I would also recommend the restaurant for the food, the value for money and the atmosphere (neither too noisy nor too quiet, tables not too close together, nice lighting and decor). To be honest I wouldn't have expected a chain restaurant to be so good, but this one doesn't feel like a chain, and I'm sure I'll be making several return visits.

We had a fab 19th birthday meal. The food was delicious and Kate was very helpful with cocktail recommendations.

We came in for the Festive Feast set menu having never eaten at Rosa’s before and I can say for sure we will be back. Atmosphere is vibey, food was AMAZING (go steady on the unlimited prawn crackers though haha). We had a beef massaman and chicken green curry, both of which were delicious. We were served by Norbert who was charming and tentative and made for a very lovely evening all round.

Came in to order takeaway and wasn’t feeling really hungry so Rachel recommended me these starters and sides. I loved the prawn donuts and pork skewers were really tender as well. Will definitely come back for more😍
