Not complicated but very nice. Which is how I like it) I've no idea if the people are complicated, but they also are nice. We have eaten lunches in, and dinners sent home, and not found a fault. Yum!

Extremely slow service, got our food 1 hour after ordering despite restaurant being mostly empty. They forgot our food and we had to ask many many times before they even checked it with the kitchen. When they finally realised they made a mistake, they never bothered apologising and pretended everything was just fine. Not recommended.

Food and staff were amazing, surprised how they did not take cash, luckily we had a card ans was able to use my blue light discount

Our server was Flo who was very friendly and took care of us and our order efficiently. The good was fantastic and we left very full and content.

Hard wooden chairs not great. We moved so that she could have a cushioned bench seat. My sticky rice 🍚 was OK but my Northern Thai partner tried it and said it didn't match hers! I enjoyed my chicken pad Thai. On a previous visit we had the express lunch which we both enjoyed. It is great value and comes with Thai lemon or lemon and pandan tea 🍵 which is really nice. We were there on Mother's Day and mothers were offered a complimentary prosecco or bubble tea. On checking the bill I was charged for this. I complained and the charge was removed and an apology offered. Service was OK but I don't like staff hovering over you when they have just given you the bill. My Northern Thai partner was the only Thai there. It was nice, but if she was employed there - in the kitchen or waiting - it would be better and more authentic.

This was a last minute decision and one we're glad we made. Right from the beginning the welcome was friendly, staff were efficient and the Prawn Pad Thai was incredibly scrumptious! Facilities were clean, service was speedy, the vibe was vibing. We will be back!

The Tom Hka Soup is the best, I have it every time I go there.

Great food, minus one star for the 15% service charge. I'll decide how much I want to tip thanks: if you think your staff deserve more then pay them more. And no, it's not "optional" when it's automatically added to the bill and you have to explicitly ask for it to be removed.

Food nice, would have to say it is slightly overpriced, though good variety. I would have given 4 stars but had to deduct 1 for the service issue and 1 for the rather high imposed service charge, especially for a table of just 4. When I booked, the booking process leads you through well, and then asks if it is a special event. I ticked yes to special event, ticked yes to male birthday and ticked yes to female birthday (as have twins). I even added more detail around being a special milestone birthday. So I thought great, they will make an effort. No, no such thing sadly. When we arrived we were first in at 6pm. Oddly we were offered one of only two tables ?! strange as booked a while ago, got the impression we should be thankful for that. No mention of the slightest 'happy birthday' or anything remotely acknowledging. Not even a free prawn cracker with a candle on it. What is the point of asking new customers during booking if its for a special event ?????? I had travelled 100 miles to meet my family to celebrate here. So, Rosa. I removed the extortionate service charge to offset the failure to provide something memorable or complementary, and instead used that to part fund my petrol. (I did give our waitress a fair cash tip, but really you should follow through on your booking system comments. As good as the food was, I, as a first time customer left rather disappointed. And you know that means: yep, Im highly unlikely to visit again).

Got in and got told we was sitting upstairs in a part away from the restaurant, the lady that took the order sat by are table really off putting, the meal was so salty and didn't even see any Thai chefs in the kitchen! And only takes CARD, why no CASH? The plates where very small, very expensive for what u get will not be returning!

I don't normally leave reviews but felt it was justified this time. Went as a group and most enjoyed their food but I think it's overpriced for what it is. Rice not included in most meals so it quickly adds up. I had the chicken satay, 3 small skewers for 7.50 and the chicken was overcooked and dry, even the peanut sauce couldn't save it. I will say the drinks were nice, especially the homemade lemonade. Sharing platters also quite costly for what you actually get, which is 2 of each item. I can't comment on the authenticity of the thai food but in general, in my opinion it was overpriced and quality could have been better so a disappointing (and costly) experience

We requested a table for 4, Rosa’s was very busy and we were advised a table would be available in an hour. On return the front of house manager recognised us and immediately showed us a table. Service was quick and efficient without being rushed. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing, lovely flavours and well presented. We were impressed at how well the manager had everything in control, despite a steady flow of take away orders customers in the restaurant received their food without any delays, the staff in the restaurant were organised and new exactly what they were doing. We felt looked after but there was no intrusion. Loved this place. Down points, the waitress brought our bill because she was finishing her shift. We were not ready for the bill and had not requested it. One of the ladies toilets was blocked.

Fabulous food, great service, groovy soundtrack and really yummy cocktails. They were able to easily cater for a gluten intolerance. Restaurant was fully-booked which is always a good sign! Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thanks to Timi and the team x

Overall, I enjoyed my meal (red curry, rice and brocolli) with the flavours all being good. A couple of minor points were some bits of tendon were left in the chicken and the brocolli contained a lump of hard stalk. Service at well over 10% (12.5% probably) was automatically added to the bill, which is completely unreasonable for a chain.

A really nice atmosphere in here and the staff are all very nice, but you can't help escape the fact you're in a chain restaurant. The food is good, not spectacular, but it's an enjoyable and reasonably priced experience.

As soon as Me and my Mom were inside, we met with a Lovely Lady that served us and asked us. But, as soon as I tasted the food my forehead was looking kinda angry because that's a sign that I approve the food. I was enjoying it while I was looking angry, which I can't control because most of the time I eat like that. Then the Lady asked me if everything was alright, I responded with "yeah, everything's alright, so yummy" but i don't think she heard me. Anyways, I love the food and the Service, the Two Ladies are polite and great. The Spring Rolls are delicious too, I recommend it.

My Dad and I ate at Rosa's Thai a couple of weeks ago, as an impromptu walk-in. The food was really good all round (Pad Thai and a selection of their starters), and we were served by the wonderful Kate, who was extremely helpful and charming and made our experience an excellent one too. :)

Zamówiliśmy Dania na wynos. Suche mięso i warzywa, sosy i curry smakowały jak by ktoś wymieszał niedokładnie proszek z wodą. Nawet ryż był suchy. Pierwszy i ostatni raz zamówiliśmy coś w tym miejscu.

I am going to rate the food because that is the most important. Everything lacked flavour, the soup was not authentic, no lemongrass or kafir lime, just a generic hot&sour soup. The pork belly (main) consisted of 8 tiny cubes of mostly dry meat with a sauce that was just spicy, extremely spicy, without any flavour in there: no ginger, no garlic, no lime. When I have asked for sesame seed oil they said they don't have any. A waiter said they did and after that a waitress came by to tell us they don't have it. On top of all the have some tacky plastic plates. Do yourself a favour and find an authentic place if you really want to try Thai cuisine

This is our 3rd visit to this restaurant. It is consistently brilliant from service to food to vibe. I love a restaurant that is relaxed and calm. We had the pork skewers and pad Thai which was delicious. In addition. We had the brownie desert which I would absolutely recommend. We were served by 2 waitresses who were bright and positive. The manager was warm and welcoming. Great food choice!

I start with saying that this restaurant far exceeded my expectations. We viewed the menu outside as my wife was hungry and determined to find somewhere decent to eat. Thank goodness because this was a first class choice. On entering the manager immediately made us welcome and he has the perfect level of humour to make you comfortable without being overbearing. The food selection is not vast, but well thought out. I had the Veg and Tofu Pad See Ewe and this was delicious. The Jasmine root cooked in aubergine is exquisite. My wife had the Veg and Tofu Pad Thai which was also delicious and the sauce used, tamarind, is excellent. Our daughter choose from the Kids menu which at £7.50 was excellent value. A starter, main and drink, and not a carton either. She also had ice cream with Bubbles, as in bubble tea, for an extra £1.50. Everything is spotless, including the toilets. The staff are first class and the atmosphere is brilliant. There is a service charge added, but we were tipping anyway. The next time we are in vibrant Exeter we definitely know where we will be eating. Thanks to all the staff at Rosa's.

This place is a gem - I feel bad as we came here a while back and I didn’t get round to writing the review. We’d had a sub par experience previously and the manager personally wanted to make it right for us - WOW. The food is exquisite , spice levels perfect , Rosa’s craft IPA washes it down beautifully - in a really hip and charming part of Exeter. Really thank you for such an amazing experience.
