This is a really great place to eat for all occasions. I went with my family and there were many different options including delicious options for vegans/vegetarians. The staff are so friendly and helpful and there is a lovely calm atmosphere. 100% recommend. Probably best food I have ever had!

Very poor service overall. Waited a long 55 minutes for brunch, arrived with a few slices of mushroom and tatty scraps of tomato, no avocado ( was informed they didn't have any avocado at start) Partner asked for sugar wasn't brought over so had to go to counter to ask for it, drink ordered not brought over with other drink .... had to ask for it ...... unlimited brunch was a pretty dire looking offering tbh. No apologies for the waits or forgotten items ....

A tapas restaurant in Cambridge. After spending almost two weeks in the UK we were happy to see a restaurant with Spanish food and we tried it. The tapas we tried were not bad at all, obviously they are not like the Spanish ones but we ate very well, far from the typical fish and chips. Garlic prawns, squid, croquettes, even Spanish beer,... The waitress who served us was very attentive and friendly.

We enjoyed another wonderful evening at Sutherland House last week. Our go-to place for celebration meals. This restaurant has the perfect balance of delicious, inventive food, beautifully prepared and presented, attentive yet unobtrusive servers and a charming dining room with a relaxed atmosphere and gentle background music. Highly recommended.

After unfortunately missing last years annual holiday visit due to a hip replacement i was back and as always excited to revisit Titchwell Manor for a very special meal on August 1st. Greeted by exemplary table host (Sam) and the bar host (sorry i forgot to ask her name) who were both attentive and professional to a top notch level. Canapes Crispy panko hot arancini filled with perfectly cooked rice and fresh sweet peas on top of a smooth as silk pea puree. Oyster with a paper thin batter which was crisp yet the oyster inside remained juicy and plump. This was presented dressed with a buffalo style sauce which was mid spicy and with its vinegar base worked extremely well not only with the oyster but also worked very well eating wise with the arancini. Lobster Thermidor The best cooked lobster ive had the pleasure in eating! It was crazy how it retained a meaty texture as you would expect but at the same time was like a beautifully cooked scallop. Accompanied by a dill oil and chicory leaf cradling a segment of pink grapefruit which as a lot of the cooking was an inspired small touch yet worked so well with the main focus. Ham Hock Melting texture packed with flavour, accompanied by the freshest of vegetables. The age old saying of well sourced simple ingredients done well. Poached Monkfish A beautiful piece of monkfish exceptionally cooked with a bisque with incredible depth of flavour. Pork Fillet Titchwell always nail their pork dishes, helped by the use of exceptional meat. Flavourful, succulent and a perfect example of well timed cooking and resting along with a very nice apple relish which seemed to utilise the apple skin too, great idea - more depth of flavour - yet very smooth. Now to the mind blowing pot of 'summer peas and beans'. This was almost hard to work out, it was like a hybrid of a sauce, veloute and emulsion. So fresh and delicious, initially dipped the pork in, then started drinking it! Summer fresh broad beans, fine beans and peas were at the bottom of the pot so back to using a spoon it was! Elderflower set cream Absolutely love anything elderflower so i could have taken a lot more of the fragrance however this was a superb end to the meal. As usual fresh summer fruit flavours dancing on the tastebuds. The set cream? Imagine a panacotta without the deliberate wobble. Rich, silky working in harmony with the sorbet and fruit. Overall an exceptional example of well sourced seasonal produce, precision cooking timing paired with some clever flavour pairings, along with beautiful surroundings. Counting the days till im back already!
