The best restaurants serving Seafood food in East Renfrewshire Glasgow and Surrounding

FISH SUPPER: I mean it was nice, smaller portion of fish than I am accustomed to, especially compared to other fish and chip shops in the local area (yes, I've tried many of them), tasty chips and you even get a slice of lemon and some sauce. But at WELL over tweleve pounds (£12.45) it's defintely NOT value for money - priced for the well healed area the restaurant resides in, not the pocket. Better value places elsewhere with quality to match or better.

I went for Mother’s Day on Sunday. The restaurant was cold. Menu was already limited as well as some of the options being unavailable. Waitresses were very polite and apologetic. The pate only had one small slice of bread and was not enough for the whole meal. The other food was inedible particularly the roast dinner. It was very tough and we had to leave it as we could not even chew the food. Manager was dismissive and argumentative at first saying they haven’t had a complaint about the particular item. We’re not usually one to complain but in this case something had to be said. They took £20 off the bill but we will not be returning and would not recommend to anybody.

I was so, so disappointed with the food today! I sent my main and my daughter’s back twice. We left without having a main meal. We usually love this place as well and their Mac n cheese is usually amazing! Not today! I have shown how it usually looks vs how today’s was! The staff however, are so nice, they tried to deal with it but have no control on the dishes! There was a wedding on, my assumption is that took priority!

We sat in, food was good as usual, and our server was outstanding as always.

Ordered the Louisiana Burger + Chips. The photo shows + describes as a Brioche Bun+ shows an oblong Torpedo shaped Brioche Bun. It also looks as though there is 2 Chicken Strips. When it came it was 1 (Decent sized) Strip on a round soft breakfast style roll. The batter was not crisp but soggy. Even the parts not covered in sauce or cheese. + it was all barely look warm. The chicken was bit slimy + stone cold. So I binned it + ate the chips which were a bit cold but edible. However if I'd wanted to be charged nearly £11 for a portion of chips. Would have gone to 4* Hotel not a local
