The best restaurants serving Seafood food in The Vale of Glamorgan South East

I was charged 20p more than stated on the board…apparently the till price is different to the menu

So this fish and chippy changed hands earlier this year (end of last?) and the new management twins are smashing it. We're both veggies, but we go to a chippy... crazy huh?! So my favourites... haloumi, cauliflower, mushies and chips. My missus loves the tofish wrapped in seaweed. The owners and staff are very friendly and the quality of food is always superb. In the summer when it's busy, the owner goes along the queue to take orders so it's quicker when you get to the till. Everything is cooked to order. We go most weeks and will either sit in or take away and sit on a bench overlooking the Bristol Channel. Lovely. I understand that they also offer delivery. So there you have it... two veggies recommending a chippy. Yep, it's that good. The summer queues tell you all your need to know.

This was our 5th visit, every time we go it’s such great food and service I wanted to leave a review. An independent family owned restaurant that blends fine dining with a lovely friendly atmosphere. Fresh fish specials every day that never disappoint I cannot recommend it enough.

Still the best fish and chips in the vale

Saw the sign that this place was under new management and it showed. The beef chettinaad was nothing like the previous version and the beef was really tough. A real shame as the food here use to be great. We won’t be coming back. Avoid!
