Have ordered many times over past few years but last order I had 2 weeks ago wasn't great at all. Just really bland and quite greasy I found too.

So disappointed, used to be my local but have ordered twice now in past weeks and both times it's been dreadful. I've seen a lot of reviews recently about people saying the same thing, so I'm not sure what's going on. Maybe new chef or owners? Either way I think I need to find a new local!

We usually always get tiffin and have never been disappointed until recently. The madras came as what can only be described as soupy water and the naan was not fully cooked sticking to our fingers like play dough. The chicken tikka has changed massively recently and has almost no taste. For the price and service we have previously received I’m very disappointed.

Have been a customer for years but the last two curries we had, since it has been under new management were not as good. The chicken bhuna was pretty tasteless but edible. The lamb rogan Josh was awful, ate a few bits of meat and binned it. It was bland, large chunks of tomatoes with skins still on and the lamb was tough and very strong tasting. Maybe the new management needs to have a rethink

Been a customer here for many years and not had any issues with the food or level of service I see I maybe the first to review under the new management. As my uploaded picture my dish was mainly made up of large pieces of onion. Not much chicken And the rice is very floral For the price… I won’t be returning which is a shame

Tiffin rasoi is my go to curry takeaway. Always top quality food and the choice of curries is brilliant. The railway lamb curry is stunning. Won't go anywhere else for a delivery.

Unbelievable food! Easily the best in Barry in my opinion. Kolkata Kati Roll is 10/10. Can’t speak highly enough of this place!

i have been phoning all numbers online, cant get through on one of them, i have sent emails, no reply. before i have to go to ombusman, can you please give me my money back for this order that turned up 1 1/2 hrs late!! i refused at the door as this is a joke!! this is such a poor site to contact you nothing works on it

Took 2 hours to be delivered. Just ridiculous.

Over an hour late and still not arrived. went to the restaurant myself after an hour of waiting and got told my food was on its way.....it's been another 20 minutes now....I'm less than a 5 minute drive away. Really frustrating!! Never ordering from here again

This was the first time ordering from Tiffin Rasoi and I wasn't very happy with the whole experience. The food was really late - the estimated delivery time changed after I got Just Eat involved. When the second estimated delivery time lapsed I called the restaurant. I explained my order still hadn't arrived and he said it's out with the driver and said it's been a busy night. He didn't ask my name or order number which surprised me. It arrived an hour after the original estimated delivery time. The korma was blander than I expected and chicken a bit tough but nice enough. The chicken tikka was lovely and came with a pot of mint sauce - sauce was lovely but a bit too runny. It was nice enough but I'd be wary of order again due to the length of time it took. Go ahead and order but be prepared for a much longer wait!

Another lovely curry from the best in Barry. The railway lamb curry was melt in your mouth. One of the best I've had. Thanks

We had a delicious vegetarian takeaway. We really recommend the vegetable korma, aloo gobi, aloo chaat and butter paneer. We have not had such a good curry in a LONG time!

The food from this restaurant is always beautiful, they were slightly later than what I was told but it wasn't a real issue as it was the night before Good Friday. Of course I will order from them again and I always recommend them to my friends.

Our curry arrived at 9pm and it was disgusting, very watery. Called to complain, they apologised and said they would send out our order again. Waited until 10:40pm, called to ask how long it would be. Had to ring 4 times until someone picked up, they said they are closed now so there's nothing they could do. No offer for refund or new order.

Food was hot on arrival ,no water so cash given back with delivery delivery arrived very late . I was told I would have some £ back for this. This has not happened. Food was nice.one or two items were poor. Its a shame as I used to enjoy the food from here.

Waited 2 hours for delivery. Chips inedible, curry not the best. The delivery driver very rude. Avoid. Tried to contact them and no one answered their phone.

Tiffin Rasoi is by far one my all time favourite takeaway options in Barry as quite frankly they never disappoint 🔥🔥🔥 Now for those of you who don't know me I'm the face behind Wayne's Eats which is a very popular food blog on Facebook and Instagram which covers all of South Wales. I have lived in Barry all of my life and it's fair to say I've tried every Indian and takeaway option here but most importantly I've tried every single curry that Tiffin Rasoi has ever put on menu. The most amazing thing is that I can honestly say I've not disliked any of their curries which is unusual as normally from experience, there is at least some options that are not great but I cannot say this about Tiffin Rasoi. Everything is always cooked to perfection and just stacked with flavour, the proportion sizes are always very generous and delivery is always on time. 👉 My personal favourite curries would have to be the Goan Chicken, Railway Lamb, Highway Chicken, Beef Chettinaad and the Butter Chicken. Don't mind waiting a while but when the estimated delivery time was over an hour in the first place then to add 40 minutes on top is not good (nearly 2hours since placing order)phoned restaurant was told it should be with us with abrut phone hang up,still took 20mins after that.

Took 2 hrs from order to delivery. Food was Luke warm and received plain naan not garlic as requested

This was my first order with this takeaway. I enjoyed the food was really good. I will order again soon.

My order was supposed to arrive between 6.30 and 7pm. When it hadn’t arrived by 7.30pm, I called the restaurant and was simply told that they were busy and it was on its way. 10 to 15 minutes late is fine, but when your dinner arrives over an hour after it’s supposed to, that’s unacceptable. Never again

Delivery was very late. No answer on the phone. Tikka Massala tasted like vinegar. Biryani was dry. Korma sauce was alright.

The food from here is always top quality. Tried something different and wasn't disappointed.

Awesome, as always! The Chicken Makhani tasted more like a korma with all the coconut but was lovely all the same. As far as I know, Butter Chicken has no coconut in the recipe 🤷🏼‍♂️

Didn’t get the rice and chips half and half but got a sort of sausage side it was very nice but not what we ordered

Food is lovely but the past few times I have ordered, the delivery has been over an hour late & takes ages to get through to them to chase an update. When I tried to complain over the phone, they hung up on me.

Ordered on line for 830pm but it arrived at 630pm not a game changer on this occasion but I hope it won't happen again.

I've used Tiffin many times over the years, this time I'd waited 2 hours for the delivery, I called to ask where it was they said it would be another 35mins I asked for a refund & to leave the order they said they couldn't do that (they said it was already cooked but they hadn't cooked it yet) I drove up to collect it in the end had to wait while they cooked it. It was chaotic there. Got home with my food gone 10pm (ordered originally at 7.30pm), my curry wasn't as it usually is was very milky, there isn't usually milk in it. They gave a free can of coke as an apology (very poor), we've asked that the delivery charge be refunded (they couldn't do it while we were there apparently). The staff were nice & apologetic but clearly not enough staff or drivers to cope with the demand, the phones were ringing constantly & people were also turning up as I did to ask where their delivery was. I'm very reluctant to come here again.

Was fobbed off when food over an hour late, and still waiting. person stated driver out, owner on holiday, no one in charge, when asked for the name of the person I was speaking too, He abruptly put phone down on me. I will NOT be giving my custom to this place ever again. I will also be calling into the owner to complain. NOT acceptable £45 order !!!!

Been waiting over two hours for my order, still haven’t received it. Restaurant has since closed but we’re still ignoring calls 45 minutes before closing. made excuses over the phone.Avoid at all costs.

V poor after two and half hours food still hasn’t arrived . Will never use again. Would like to have given zero stars but in able. Let’s see how long it takes to get my money back! 😡

Genuinely, one of the best Indian takeaways I've ever had, anywhere in the world. I've tried five or six dishes and each has been delicious, the right balance of flavours and spice, not oily or too salty - proper food! Highly recommended:)

Recommended by a friend, we got a takeout for a birthday treat. The food was fabulous, one of the best Indian meals I've had in a long time. Unfortunately one of our dishes was wrong, chicken instead of lamb tikka. They offered to send out another but we'd already eaten so I just asked for them to refund the difference. I didn't realise they'd drive out to give me the change! I would definitely recommend this place, 5 stars!

Went to collect our food as received a great discount offer. The shop was immaculate for start, staff friendly and helpful but omg the chicken tikka Biryani was another level. Full of flavour, portion was huge and totally delishous - my new favourite dish. My other half as always had his railway lamb. Highly recommend

First time ordering and the food has been fantastic

Great food always. And a bit different to the rest of the takeaways around. Like that we can have a big feast or pick at some street food. Usually a little slow/delayed when picking up but usually worth the wait.

More quality meat and small portion of mixed tandoori,tasteless korma sauce,narga chicken starter and peshawar nan were ok,But award winning food not anymore,used to order when they started but sadly gone down hill

On a day out on the beach came across this absolute gem curries are D E licious family really enjoyed it highly recommend the Chicken Jalfrezi can't forget the mango 🥭 Lassi

We ordered the Railway Lamb, mushroom rice & chicken tikka biryani with a masala sauce. This meal did not disappoint, I loved the Biryani, full of flavour and not tight on the portion size. My other half was chuffed with the lamb (his fave) saying he has never had lamb so tender and will ask how it is prep as it is so good!

Had an excellent takeaway from Tiffin Rasoi in June. Lots of variety on the menu and an easy to use website to help decide! Staff were very polite and helpful when takeaway was collected. Food was incredible! It’s easy to see why they have won so many awards! Both curries we had (chicken curry and butter chicken) had a lot of flavour and was cooked to perfection! We had bhajis and chicken tikka for starters and this really complemented our main and also had a lot of flavour! Pickle tray and naans were lovely and all food was piping hot which is what you need! I would thoroughly recommend to come here for an Indian takeaway! Can’t wait to come back!

The food arrived on time, but was bitterly disappointed with the food, the chips were cold & hard, the mango chicken curry didn’t taste like it had any mango in and very bland. Unfortunately I left the majority of the food.

Best take away in town . Always fresh prompt service and the food so tasteful. Would never go to a different take away

The delivery driver was amazing so polite and courteous. The food was great but I wouldn't have the noodles again.

Ordered vegan food. Also asked for vegan mint sauce. Was sent a meal full of cheese and no vegan mint sauce. When asked how we could rectify this, was implied it was our fault.asked if it was our fault " yes it kind of is we tried to ring you". No. You should have cancelled the order and let us spend our money somewhere else instead of taking our cash and sending a totally random meal to someone. Enjoy the £40 guys atleast one of us got what we wanted.

Fantastic place. The Kale and Onion Bhaji's are divine. Service is fast, friendly and efficient. All the dishes I have eaten, can't fault.

This is a bit of a late review having not bought anything from here for around 5 or 6 months. Waiting times can be a bit of a nightmare so if we're looking for a quicker takeaway we do tend to go elsewhere. We know to expect to wait over an hour in general though so when we do place an order, it's done early. The food is generally really nice. My most recent visit, despite the order not even being started when I got there to collect it, the food was amazing. I dont know what they did to their bhajis this time around but they were the best I have ever had. Occasionally their food can be a bit on the salty side but, overall, we do love the food from here and never buy our curries from anywhere else. The only reason we don't buy from here more often is due to the cost. Prices have gone up steeply over the last few years so what used to be a once or twice a month family takeaway is now down to once or twice a year as, for our family who all like different curries which becomes expensive, it is considerably cheaper to order Chinese etc now instead. It's still nice to see them doing well though and winning awards for their food which are definitely deserved. I know the in laws etc miss the curries too so hopefully we'll be ordering from here again in the future.

Food was a tad warm... Not piping hot as usual. Food was still tasty and usual quality.

Heard good things, tried it very disappointed. Chicken in the korma was very dry, everything from the sauce to the keema naan was cold. Mint dip the worst I have had sadly as was really looking forward to it.

Poor poor service. delivery was scheduled between 8.40 and 9. Rand at 9 to be told my food was being packed up. 10.05 still no food. rang up to be told he on his way. So my food had been sat for an hour waiting to be delivered? Good luck to the person ordering from here.

Food came at least 45 minutes late. Items missing. Rang restaurant, they were very very rude. Asked to resend items and send fresh chips as they would be cold by the time they’d get here and basically told no because we’d already had chips.

Didn’t receive 2 portions of chips . How can I get 6.50 refunded?

Our food was lovely as usual, my only complaint this time was that I ordered and paid for a poppadom but didn’t receive it so a tad disappointed.
