The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Welwyn Hatfield East of England

Today i bought large cod and chips as I usually do and as ever it was cooked in good clean cooking oil served up by a very pleasant lady who clearly took pride in serving decent food. I must try a few other things on the menu. Call in and give pearl fish bar a try its well worth it for some decent takeaway food. I'll be back for more.

Consistently first class, fresh fish cooked to order great chips homemade tartare sauce etc friendly professional competent staff.

Had been recommended so drove out of town to visit, waited considerable time for a simple order and actually the food was not too shabby so was happy to have waited , however what let it down was the attitude of the server (lady wearing a mask over face), she was very rude and not helpful. Very to the point, blunt and considering it was a new visit, didn't want to help or engage. Whilst it may be busy, each customer is valued in any business, and I certainly didn't feel that here.

Saw skate on the menu and haven't had it for a few years. Was lovely and fresh, a decent portion with nice chips served very hot and was salivating waiting for it to cool down a bit before eating.

Spent £30 on food as we've been decorating all day, the fish was nice but the onion rings were hard and crusty, and the chicken fillets were thrown in the bin as when child bite into one you could see pink amd wasn't risking it, wished I'd taken a picture now
