The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Went in to get some dinner with some friends at around 6:15, it was quite busy so expected a wait. I ordered first out of my friends and every single one of them got their food before me and they started reading out numbers way past my order number. Went up to ask where my food was and they said they had already given it to me, then when i said that they hadn’t they continued to say that they’d given it to my friend i was with which they hadn’t, they’d given him his own order. They then said there was nothing they could do and said they wouldn’t make my food. After i complained further they said it would be 5 minutes, 10 minutes later i still hadn’t got my food and they started making my same order and giving it to multiple other people, i complained again and they offered and free can of drink and said it would be 5 more minutes, it wasn’t and i was still waiting for a further 10 minutes. Didn’t get given my food until an hour after i’d ordered when my friend said that i’d been waiting an hour to which they made my food then.

We stayed at the Tufton Arms Hotel and decided to book a table here. It was okay. Decent range of choices and food tasted okay but....service, decor etc was pretty basic.

Called on friday night about 5 30 bought fish and chips l do have to say the worst fish and chips l have tasted wukk not be back

I had mid size fish and chips. It was delicious and it was large quantity. I will like to visit the shop again.

It was a wet Friday evening in September and I ordered a Chinese takeaway to be delivered. It said it would be 45 mins and when I’d waited over an hour I called the restaurant and was told that as it was wet the driver didn’t want to come out and deliver my order! Can you believe it! I’ve never heard anything like it. Avoid this restaurant at all costs and give your business to a restaurant with morals and who deserve your custom

Great seafood. Never really been to a dedicated seafood place but very tasty! FYI we found best value nearby parking at Amwell St, EC1R 1UL!

Placed a large order for a local care home the owner claimed in future had to order by 3.30pm for a tea time order. The owner was very rude despite bringing around a £90 order. The order was wrong with several meals being incomplete we felt uneasy about complaining after his abruptness over a large order I know as a community we are to support local businesses however we shall not be using their establishment again. There are other local chip shops that will welcome our order ie Blue Whale. So disappointed that an actual businesses can afford to throw away what could have been a potential regular order.

Fried chicken was put in a box with the chips and was dripping with grease/ and soaked with condensation. The chicken boxes are supposed to be used for chicken. Large cod was seen through the paper due to excessive grease. This isn’t the first time we’ve had an overly greasy take away from here, i understand it’s a greasy kind of meal, but you shouldn’t have to throw food away because it’s past the point of eating. Overall an absolute shambles and a waste of money. Wings were ok though on a positive note, probably down to them being packaged correctly. Still hungry

Very nice , clean , smart building , tried the Turbot for main , with saute potatoes & veg , as i told the chef , probably the blandest meal i had all weekend , what a let down .

Food was brilliant and great value for money. Very friendly staff and order was placed before arrival. Well worth a visit and I would say the best local chip shop in the area!

My wife and I visited Cambois Beach today.We stopped off at the Charlton Pub for drinks.The service was good, I had occasion to visit the toilet Male which was immaculate, as per my wife the female facilities were immaculate as well

Always freshly cooked. Just decent fish and chips. Good staff. Good value kids meals. Fried chicken is really good.

We ate here as its local to out holiday house and it was a really warm welcome. Arrived early as we had tried to go for a walk but it was freezing. The pub was so friendly, they put all our wet clothing on the radiator. Dog friendly and home cooked food with a small menu which I imagine changes regularly.

Efficient, friendly, good portions and not greasy at all. Will use again next time I treat the family for fish and chips.
