Oceans Fish Bar in Rotherham

Placed a large order for a local care home the owner claimed in future had to order by 3.30pm for a tea time order. The owner was very rude despite bringing around a £90 order. The order was wrong with several meals being incomplete we felt uneasy about complaining after his abruptness over a large order I know as a community we are to support local businesses however we shall not be using their establishment again. There are other local chip shops that will welcome our order ie Blue Whale. So disappointed that an actual businesses can afford to throw away what could have been a potential regular order.

We always have fish and chips from here and now phone and collect. Always good quality but what impressed me most was the effort to find out which, if any, of the foods we ordered had soya in. The lady on the phone went above and beyond at a very busy time for them ( Friday tea) Thank you.

i live around the corner from a fish n chip shop but choose to go here instead, ive also tried delivery which is brilliant, friendly staff always have a chat with you even if they are busy HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Fantastic is the only word you can use to describe this chippy! The fish is fresh, chips are hot perfectly cooked and all th sauces and peas perfect too.Freshly cooked if you require something special such as my personal favourite fish with no batter it’s just perfect and you can order over the phone too and just collect so there’s no waiting either. It’s a firm family favourite and we’re really pleased to have found this gem in Maltby.

After my local chip shop changed hands and was no longer any good I have been on a mission to find the best in my area. After much research I believe I have found it. I have now been a regular customer every Friday for their large cod.
