The best staff and food combined!! Been so many places before but no where compares to here, we travel to come here. Brilliant with kids and welcoming will be back again very soon thanks guys

Walked in to see the male bar staff sat with his feet up at the bar vaping!!!. Food was disgusting, chicken was so overcooked it couldn't be cut was completely inedible. Garlic ciabatta bread was soggy and wet. Vegetable lasagne was almost raw, the pasta was doughy, wasn't cooked enough. Jacket potato was rock hard on the inside. I will never go there again !!!!

Ate here last night, food was basic, went to eat salad off plate and change my mind when I saw it's was old!!! Realised chutney was missing from our cluck and cheese sharer plate. Took ages for plates to be took away ended up with starter plates on table while eating mains!! As for loos they were unhygienic and when me and wife went to loo we had to hold door for each other as it didn't lock!! Pre booked table and they set us up in front of DJ so conversation was difficult! Won't be booking for a large party again!!

A good 'local' pub. Quick service, clean environment, accommodating to all customers and food looks great. Yet to eat here but we will!

The food we ordered was very good but there was a lot of meals on the menu that wasn't available including the dessert we wanted.

We came up for food as a 4 all thought it was beautiful, me and my partner had steak sizzler came cooked to perfection thank you to the chef Danny! Was searved food by alfie lovely and kind young lad! We are super full, great value for money thank you guys!

I always try to be fair when leaving a review. After all, this is purely my personal experience. Others may fare better. Think twice about a family gathering of say, more than 6 people. They simply cannot cope with numbers in excess of this. The food was appalling (I'm being generous here). It comes out in stages, and is generally cold upon arrival. From the ridiculously excessive menu, I chose the all day breakfast, wrongly thinking the 'chefs' couldn't mess it up too badly, but how wrong I was....it consisted of 2 crozzled rashers of bacon, 2 cold hash browns, an anaemic fried egg and half a plate of undercooked micro mushrooms with a side of mushy peas in lieu of the missing baked beans and tomatoes which they seemed to have ran out of. This, at least, provided some much needed humour to the proceedings. I'm not keen on having a go at the staff, they're doing their best, and no doubt working hard in challenging circumstances, but I would refuse to take most of this food out of the kitchen, as it clearly isn't good enough. The management need to take a long, hard look at themselves. This is the latest in a long line of similar experiences, and I'm afraid I'll have to politely decline to attend the next family gathering if it's held here..... 😅 (regrettably, no photos)

Visited for Christmas dinner. The atmosphere was great, the staff were extremely friendly and very attentive. The food was cooked to perfection, and service was superb. Thank you, we will be booking again in the future.

Decided to go here with work for Christmas lunch and to be honest the food was terrible if you like everything processed then this is the place for you. Rubbish place avoid unless your desperate.

Last time I was here I wasn't impressed with the food, this time I had a Korean burger and really enjoyed it. Called today 4th December had another burger and enjoyed.

Rob was absolutely bang on!! Every time me and my mrs are in here he’s absolutely brilliant!! Every time he drops a drink/food off he always clears empty’s and that’s always been a big bear of mine!! Brill food for the price and brilliant service!! 💪🏽 props to rob💯

Had Curry Wednesday, ordered upgrade curry, when curry came it was small plate, no upgrade, went to question this, but bar lady put small through so obviously didnt listen to correct order, disappointed with meal as a whole, rice and curry not hot. Service was not as expected as no staff did a checkback.

So comfortable and friendly, feels like home everytime I go,usually with grandkids great staff.

Fantastic service very poor food especially the mixed grill ,, not even proper chicken it was reformed all very lightly cooked was not nice at all ,,, but the service from the young lady behind the bar was 100/% spot on

Microwaved chicken and bacon. We waited 45 mins for food even though the place was empty. Expected it to be cooked fresh since it took so long, only to come out half cooked and clearly done in the microwave as the bacon was grey and floppy. The sausages weren't browned off at all were pale grey and the chicken had a weird texture. We left the whole thing more or less will definitely not go back.

Food was amazing, done perfect. Chicken was moist and chips was absolutely awesome 👌 the burger was very big and juicy 😋 comes out on a sizzler plate. Very cheap. Drinks was nice and cheap only £3.79 for pint of stongbow dark fruits 😬 garlic bead was done to how we like it. The atmosphere was very calm and staff was very polite and couldn't help you enough. Thank you 😊

Mixed grill not very nice , hard gammon cheap sausage gristle on chicken cheap quality meat , didn't eat it .....£13 wasted . My friend left her chicken due to gristly bits ......🙄 Apple & berry crumble custard - 2 spoon fulls not even a childs portion asked staff replied they are individual portions really poor . Asked for 2 white wine & sodas. We got wine and lemonade glasses were dirty one had a chip in .

I enjoy the food but have often found that my food and drinks have been served in glasses and on dishware that is dirty and not well cleaned.

Visited pub 17th July 2023, table 15 till receipt 04/5470, time 14.29, server H******. Ordered 2 mini mixed grills and drinks. Food came in a reasonable time and it was the usual good quality, same as we have had here in our past visits. Only problem is there was no pineapple on the mixed grills, went to the bar and asked why and was told pineapple had not been delivered. We were not offered an alternative such as another egg, sausage or a few extra chips as a replacement for the pineapple, it seemed just a case of that's it and like it or lump it. Which is pretty poor service. The other half a dozen Hungry Horse pubs we have been to in the past have always offered an alternative if there has been a shortage of something we ordered. Will probably visit again as it's local to us.

Staff are extremely polite and go to all lengths to make sure everything is okay! Foods brilliant and the pub was clean and tidy Will definitely be going back again

I came in for food with family, really enjoyed it the staff were great very welcoming and friendly. The food was was really nice. The pub itself was clean and tidy, i would recommend it to others and will be coming back.

Really poor food, wanted fish told it hasn’t been available for 3-4 works because the fish drier was broken. Ordered a crown of burgers for nearly £14-15, bread was defrosted all 4 burgers were over cooked and dried. Very minimal fillings and just loads of chips chucked on the side. No cherry shots for the drink or hallumi starters, ordered a vegan burger which came completely plain, told they no longer provide sauces on the burgers and that they were also didn’t have any red pesto, apparently should have been told this at the till. Not great for a Thursday evening. Really poor

Bought a magic pints bag from here off TooGoodToGo. Collected with no issues. Staff and locals were friendly and polite. Was told if I left the cap on the bag that the ale would last. The ale went flat as soon as I got home with it. Went to pour it the following day and it was undrinkable. Very disappointed as I paid nearly £6 for it. Won't be ordering a Magic Pints from them again.

Called in for lunch & glad we did,friendly staff the food was really nice we had 2 for £11.40 menu usually portions on these type of menus are small but these were quite big,lovely clean well decorated pub will definitely be going back here

only problem we had our 15 year old granddaughter fainted 4 time's with the heat we took her outside and still no better we asked for a glass of water to try and help and they charged us for a bottle we found it disappointing as it to help a child who was having a medical emergency. she had gone completely white lost all colour. and they didn't help us. it spoilt our evening. after. such a lovely meal.

Very helpful staff, decent beer but the food was pretty poor. It's not that it was badly prepared or poorly presented it's just that they use cheap produce so the meat is fatty and gristley. This is like every Hungry Horse I've ever been in so it's not the pub which is a problem. It will do at a push but I wouldn't go by choice.

Came today at lunch time, all looked promising went out back to find a table in the sun. Came back to the bar and waited 5–10 minutes for noone to serve us. There were no team out back in the beer garden, or on the floor or on the bar. Could have easily walked around the bar and served myself but then maybe someone would have appeared from somewhere. Walked out and had some lovely chippy from next door. Not good enough guys

Ordered Full English for £7.70 and feels like I got less then £4 worth of food. My egg was undercooked and toast wasn't even included. Safe to say I was disappointed and was still hungry

First time coming to ring o bells for food accommodating 6 people and a child at last minute. Nathan and staff went above and beyond to ensure we was seated with child access. Food was lovely no complaints from anyone around the table, will deffo be coming for food again.

We come to ring o bells a lot for food, we was really well looked after today for food. Also working as a carer when we bring residents in they go above and beyond to accommodate and look after each one of us. Can't complain about the staff or food. Lovely place to dine.

Myself and my partner come here quite often to take advantage of their deals. Last night we went for a meal as we usually would and hadn’t booked as it’s not usually busy. On this occasion it was rammed but they still found us a table where not many other places would’ve done that. We were a little hesitant to order considering it was so busy but from ordering on the app to receiving our mains it took around 20 minutes which we were really happy with. All food was hot and tasty, as it always is from this branch. Last night was managed so well and was really nice to see everyone playing their part to get the food from the kitchen to customer. Thank you.

The bar staff are extremely polite in particular the middle aged blondish lady. So accomidating and easy to deal with!

Meal had missing poppadoms eveen tho other orders after my order had them on. Some of the food cold. Some of meal order had been missed when ordered even after I repeated the order.

I have never have been somewhere where the staff have been rude like this! Long waiting times for the food and then when the food arrives they just put it on the table without even saying enjoy the food or anything. When I ordered the drinks the lady that was on the bar just stood there without speaking, she didn’t even ask us what we would like to order she just stood there looking at us like we have done something wrong. If there was an option to give less than one star, I would.
