Middletons Fish And Chips in Adur

Went in to get some dinner with some friends at around 6:15, it was quite busy so expected a wait. I ordered first out of my friends and every single one of them got their food before me and they started reading out numbers way past my order number. Went up to ask where my food was and they said they had already given it to me, then when i said that they hadn’t they continued to say that they’d given it to my friend i was with which they hadn’t, they’d given him his own order. They then said there was nothing they could do and said they wouldn’t make my food. After i complained further they said it would be 5 minutes, 10 minutes later i still hadn’t got my food and they started making my same order and giving it to multiple other people, i complained again and they offered and free can of drink and said it would be 5 more minutes, it wasn’t and i was still waiting for a further 10 minutes. Didn’t get given my food until an hour after i’d ordered when my friend said that i’d been waiting an hour to which they made my food then.

the food took over an hour to get given and when we went up to complain they told us they had already given us our order, which they hadn’t, so they said they’d start making it and it took another 20 minutes before we were given it.

Great chips, nice halloumi burgers and great curry sauce. Well managed on a busy Saturday lunchtime and pleasant enough service.

excellent fish and chip shop in a nice spot with all of the expected menu items, didnt want to pay loads for ketchup so had to go to the shop next door though

Best fish and chips in Shoreham. Alway hot and fresh. The batter is crisp and not greasy. Phone ahead to jump the queue. Totally recommend

First night of our weekend staying on the Spit. A Friday. So it HAD to be Fish & Chips! Middletons certainly hit the spot. Wonderful greeting and service. Everything cooked fresh. What more can I say? Perfect.

Best fish and chip shop in the area, all food cooked to order. The chips don't stick together ! Can get very busy.

We ordered cod and chips, fish was beautifully battered ,very light. Cod was moist, and tasted wonderful. Chips were perfect.
