The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in South West

With having been to a supper club (which the food was spectacular) I was more than disappointed with our latest visit. Starter of 'caramelised onion vacherin tart' was soo sweet it was near inedible. The onion was fine, as was the pastry, however, the sauce and the CHUNKS of caramel were horrendous and sweet enough for a pudding! This was followed by a sad, sad, Beef Sunday Roast. Now |I know that a 2pm sitting means that I would probably get medium and not medium rare, I was fine with that. However, the 2 small 1cm thick slices complete with fat and gristle was not what I was expecting for a restaurant of this calibre. The Yorkshire pud was underwhelming and bone dry, and the spoonful of gravy which it all sat in was salty and thin. The only saving grace were the roasted carrots and the broccoli. Accompanying this was a separate serving of bland overcooked cauliflower cheese. Hoping that perhaps, pudding might save the day, I was disappointed yet again. My partners Crème Brule with pear compote was just a Crème Brule with 2 small biscotti, pear compote nowhere to be seen. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was small and instead of the clotted cream ice cream (which they were out of) I opted for the double cream, which thanks to my server, was spilled on my lap. Yes they apologised, but still left the 10% service charge on the bill. While on the subject of service, plates once finished where left on the table far too long and it was only at the end of the meal that empty glassware was cleared. Now I don't expect silver service from such a restaurant, however, the basics wouldn't have gone amiss. All in all, quite the underwhelming meal especially for the price tag. Disappointed to say the least.

The choo- poo burger is great and so are all of the pizzas. The staff are amazing! Would definitely recommend if your in the area

Made a mistake with the order so requested the order be changed, the food had not even started to be prepared but told by the (very miserable) server Amy that it’s too late the order has gone through, asked to speak to the manger (Ashleigh) to be told ‘it’s your fault for not reading the menu properly’ and the order can’t be changed, zero customer service skills for a so called manger and the worst customer service I have ever experienced, clearly not trained to deal with and appease any sort of complaint from a paying customer, the manager Ashleigh even felt the need to call security which is beyond belief when simply trying to cancel an order and reorder (despite the appalling customer service), basically ruined a weekend family break at Haven Burnham on Sea!

When in on a Tuesday and wanted to order pizza like we have done so many times before to be told that I couldn’t have the pizza done half and half as they don’t do half and half on a Tuesday , all I wanted was half cheese and the other half sweetcorn , but the lady said not on a Tuesday , never heard of anything so stupid ever , I have been going to here for the last 10 years but after the experience on Tuesday I will never recommend or return

Had a Diavola and a Prosciutto e Funghi pizza delivered on a Friday evening. Pizzas arrived quickly and piping hot. Great quality ingredients and fantastic flavour. Will definitely order again

This is where you get a slice to take with you. The quality is good and has never ever wavered over many years. A classic.

Unfortunately after 3 years of ordering a delivery from star pizza the last few orders have been wrong and my kebab or wrap haven't come with what I asked for. We've complained each time and when ordering again we've begged them to get it right and yet still they simply can't. We've complained each e spent a fortune with them but not any longer. It's a simple request which they obviously can't comply. Very disappointed 😡

Pizza butlers delivers truly authentic pizza, with perfectly thin, crispy crusts and fresh, high-quality toppings. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the mozzarella was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We ordered a couple of pizzas and a garlic bread with mozzarella , and all 3 were simply outstanding. It's clear they use proper ingredients and traditional techniques. If you're craving real Italian pizza, look no further. This is the best takeaway pizza I've had in a long long time. Can highly recommend.

Over priced cheap produce used, you can tell by the shop they are running things on a budget the shop is empty. Ordered a few pizzas which were average the beef was cheap and had a revolting after taste. The cookie was shocking a small cookie which they class as cookie dough very disappointing.

Best pizza ever, perfect in everyway. Went to Domino's they tried to charge us £70 for 2 pizzas and garlic bread. We had 3 pizzas, 2x buffalo wings, potato tots, bacon and Cheese sticks all for £40!!

Best pizza in Yeovil, Edgar is a very friendly guy, pizza is made fresh. What is there not to like? Tasty pizza, recent change to menu is a big hit!

Came here with my teenage child and a friend for a bite to eat before a gig. Offer was on for pizza and a pint…. Seems great but no option to substitute for soft drinks for those abstaining from alcohol (even alcohol free) so one stuck to water. Pizzas were ok, although a litttle charred on the base. Service was inattentive, with us having to chase for missing drink, bill etc, even when quiet and most tables free. Not the worst, not the best…. Just a bit meh…. 🫤

Fabulous pizza and really helpful and friendly staff. We ordered both gluten and gluten free pizzas and they were very professional keeping the gluten free pizzas separate and non contaminated, very impressive. That combined with the fact that the pizzas tasted great made for a fab meal. Unusually for many pizza places this felt like good value for money as well. We will be back

I arrived in a wheelchair to renew my membership so I got to the bar and Jo who works there who was ever so busy that she had the time to come to the bar and serve me as well as help me with my membership as well. Thank you very much. What lovely service I had.
