Pizza Hut in Wiltshire

Just had a family ( Birthday) meal here and the service and food were fantastic, Sians ( the manager) gave us fantastic service and helped us with the ordering via the app, thanks to our wonderful service we will definitely be returning.

We were greeted (not welcomed) and taken to our table. We were told to use the mobile qr code on the table. Spent 25 minutes trying to get the order into the mobile site. 2 adults and 3 kids (11, 9 & 9). Did not have any drinks offered until we had made the order. All that time we were trying to get the order done rather than talking with the kids. It was essentially worse than ordering at a McD’s order screen. To be fair, once ordered, the drinks did arrive relatively promptly… although this was more than 30 minutes after being seated. Other than being seated, drinks and food served, and then plates cleared, we had no interaction with any of the staff. What is wrong with places like this? It’s like the old COVID controls still in place but they are just too lazy to change back and get the staff interacting with customers again. It might as well be a vending machine with tables. For that level of non-service, £99.92 it’s massively over priced for the food we had. We’ll be going to the local Italian restaurant for better service and better value for money.

Forgot it is half term, but thankfully it wasn't too busy. Neither of us had ever had a melt before, so thought why not, let's try it. I have to admit, it wasn't quite what I expected, it was very tasty but in future I'll stick with a pizza. Great deal for £13.99 - chicken melt, chips, salad, refillable drink and ice cream. There was a lot, admittedly didn't eat it all and never even got ice cream. Waitress was very cheerful and friendly. I would recommend.

Ruddy lovely food and a great time. We came to eat with my little girl and she took an instant liking to your waitress who was so friendly and caring to her. It made the whole experience really nice and warming. The food was delicious and she loved having her own little pizza and being able to make an ice cream afterwards. It’s a tad on the expensive side, but we will certainly be back because the experience was so good and welcoming. Seeing how happy my little girl was made my whole week, as I don’t see her all too often, so thank you so much. Everywhere will have negative reviews, but this needs the most positive as you were all so kind. Thank you!!!!!

What an absolute bunch of tripe, food was blimmin chef microwave in the back have had better pizzas in Skegness Butlins honestly this place ain't worth it!!

Just had a meal at this Pizza Hut. I’ve been in hospitality for over 30 years and the service received this evening was impressive. It was efficient and the service cycle followed perfectly. I understand big companies set these things but it’s the servers personality and the ability to think on their feet that was impressive. Pineapple was forgotten on 2 of our pizzas - we were asked if we’d like a refire - as it was only 2 out of 3 that were wrong we said no don’t worry. Straight away we were asked how about a pot of pineapple… yes… perfect! Gave the guests the choice and ensured we were happy. For dessert, and as a vegan, I love the Pizza Hut cheesecake, it’s the only vegan option and I was the only one on our table that fancied a dessert so asked for it as takeaway. The server came back to inform us that it was out of stock but then quickly said it’s frozen and you could have a frozen one, leave it a couple of hours and enjoy later. Again perfect, saw a problem and found a solution! Pizza Hut gets their sales and we left happy. The pizzas were hot, crisp and with a polenta dusted crust - lush! If Pizza Hut do reward and recognition for their teams then please let these girls know they were great, polite, friendly and efficient! Apologies for not getting their names. What a lovely evening we had with our family celebrating a birthday. The food was great and very tasty. The service was outstanding our server was Amy Lee who was friendly and attentive and very patient with as all . Thanks for a lovely evening.

My husband and I have ordered vegan pizza from here, several times over the last few months. Unfortunately my father was ill and then passed so we have been driving back and forth between Kent and Somerset. The pizza is so nice from this particular restaurant. Next time we will dine in. It has been easy to order and cheered us up through a dark few months. Highly recommend.

Put an order in at half six to collect at 7. Walked in at 7 for them to say it’s not ready yet- no more info. Still waiting as we speak (7.30) for this pizza, with people who ordered here walking in and out. I love the food, but wait times/no updates is a little silly

4 of us arrived for a buffet meal. The choice of pizza was very limited. I asked if there would be a meat one coming out And I was told very soon. After about 15 minutes I asked again and a member of staff showed me a list of what pizzas was available within the buffet. I was happy with the selection and was told again that a meat one was coming. After another wait I went to the counter and asked the chief/ manager what was happening and he said no more meat pizzas were coming out. We then left. As we had paid in advance I did not want to have an argument in front of my in laws. Very poor customer service. The pasta dishes were dried out. At no time was I given a straight answer except by the manager/chief. I used to enjoy the buffet meals at Pizza Hut but this one was terrible. I wrote to Pizza Hut to complain and got a dear John type standard reply with no offer to put this right.

Lovely visit, grandchildren wanted pizza, arrived, started to get complicated,( for us oldies) lovely waitress said , shall I come back and get your order…. Yes please. Instead of us trying to sort out q codes etc..opted for buffet, pizzas were fresh and enjoyable, salad was good choice, kids enjoyed ice cream, grandson managed 3 portions. Not bad value at all.

Two years ago I did a review “Better Than Anticipated” however this last visit was so disappointing. We were seated quickly and told to use the app to order, which took a long time to do and to do the order. At the end of the order when you pay it asks if you want to leave a tip - before your have had any food or service, no way! Our refillable drinks glasses came so we ventured to the salad bar which was well stocked. However to the food - my lasagne came 10 minutes before the other two in the party, the child’s food was okay, but the adult pizza had hardly any topping. Nobody checks to see if everything okay and you just walk out at the end, totally soulless.

We often stop here at this Pizza Hut on the way home to Somerset when we have been away. A great stop with plenty of parking and the staff are highly efficient and really friendly. A Pizza Hut pizza with salad bar just really hits the spot when you don't have one that often, makes it a real treat. Note - both Defence and Blue Light cards are accepted here.

Dined here for lunch recently while staying near Stonehenge. We don't usually go in Pizza Huts as our experiences have been poor in the past (mainly full of teenagers!) However, this one was great. The food was fresh and high quality and the service excellent....

Quick service. Our food arrived in no time at all which is a plus. But on the other hand it wasn’t that busy inside and the staff were in such a rush it was like they were trying to hurry us up and get us out. Don’t think it’s just at this Pizza Hut but at most of them, the food quality really seems to be going down hill recently.

Visited our local Pizza Hut today for husband’s birthday. Greeted at the door immediately by a lovely waitress called Leanne. Order was taken quickly, we had the buffet which was freshly cooked. Leanne took the time to fuss over my 2 year old daughter and ask if we needed anything extra for her. Paying the bill was again smooth and easy despite the system being down. Leanne is a credit to the restaurant. A great experience overall.

A bunch of teenagers who don’t know how to serve! They all need some extra customer services training. We’re left standing at the door with a newborn in a car seat waiting for a table when the restaurant was mostly empty. We were ignored by the male server at the window and all other staff just looked over at us but did not stop what they were doing or offer to seat us. We gave up waiting, so decided to seat ourselves, only to be told that we couldn’t sit down yet as the male server at the front had to sit us despite there being 12 empty tables already. So, we went back to stand by the male server who was now serving at the take away part. No other staff offered to seat us, because we had to follow their silly system of waiting for this only and only staff member to seat us. Not good enough when we were travelling with a newborn. Very poor customer service. Train your staff so they all know how to greet and seat customers quickly.

All though the food was good it took us 2.5 hours to get served and yet we at the start it was busy but after 1.5 hours there was only 6 tables full with like 5 staff. The food took long to come out and whenever we finished it took 30 minutes to get cleared as the staff could see we had finished but was too busy chatting to over staff. This happened all night as we had to wait for the bill for nearly 30 minutes as we could see when the waitress was getting the bill started chatting to another staff member! Considering they nearly had a staff member for each table they didn’t care and would walk past us even though we stared at them to try and get there attention. When walking out we saw 4 staff members chatting and eating food. Just goes to show that they cared more about socialising then serving there customer.Would be more acceptable if it was busy but it wasn’t! Such poor service one of the worst I’ve ever had!

We often stop here on the long journey home from the West Country. On a wet and windy Friday half term night, the place was heaving but we were shown to a table after a short wait. Our order was taken reasonably swiftly given how busy they were and food arrived promptly. Staff are consistently efficient, friendly and polite.

The staff here are great. Really friendly, great service and quick. Very accommodating and to be honest made our visit pain free. We all had the buffet. Unlike other Pizza Huts when a certain pizza has gone you end up waiting ages for another to arrive. We found here soon as one pizza had all gone another was already cooked and placed out. Definitely would return for a hassle free buffet lunch.

Exelent staff. salad was fresh. prices good . clean. very clean. the toilets very clean. they take pride knowing customers want clean clean clean. the staff could not do enugh.

Very busy the night we visited, but was warned about this on arrival. Unlimited drinks and salad at the salad bar passed the time. Salad bar chouces were limited. Food arrived in estimated time. Flat bread was very dry at the base, but other than this, all was ok.

We stopped here with the family. Was served by a person called Kelly. Great staff was excellent with the kids and had a good sence of humour. The food arrived fresh and tasted great. Thanks

Having read other reviews I had mixed feelings but it was a treat for my granddaughter. My misgivings were quickly put aside as we had excellent food and server and was a pleasant experience. The food was well presented and hot and we had a great time. The only thing that let it down was the salad bar, where most of the dressings were very low or empty.

Pizza hut is always good, the Amesbury experience was stand out though. We were a party of 10, the young lady who looked after us all was exceptionally good, polite and made splitting the bill very easy! Perfectly chilled beer glasses! Thanks very much indeed.

Staying at the Holiday Inn I thought I would try Pizza Hut for dinner and really wish I hadn't bothered. I ordered the BBQ steak and chicken flat bread with a side of sweet potato fries. The flatbread was so over cooked that I gave up after trying to eat a few mouthfuls and the sweet potato fries weren't quite cooked. When I asked for my bill I had to point out to the waitress the amount of food I left and explain how poor it was. In her defence she offered to speak to the manager but I said no, paid the full bill and left. I would have expected the waitress to automatically speak to the manager when it was that obvious how poor the food was rather than just suggest it. Very poor experience sadly. Wouldn't have been so bad but the restaurant wasn't very busy.

The pizza was fresh and delicious. But the service of the staff is waht I'd like to bring to your attention. I'm particularly Tracey. What a legend. Friendly and pointed out all the cheap deals. Highly recommended.

I took 15 of my friends to this restaurant when we finally got a waitress to take our orders she only took 13 and bypassed me and my friend then she proceeded to take orders from another table then when we told her she missed out on us she took one order and then walked away never apologized very rude we ordered starters and pizzas after 15 minutes we received our pizzas one of the guys didn't and when we finished our pizzas that's when the starters arrived which no one was in the mood for we ordered barbecue chicken wings and they was spicy and I don't eat spicy food even when we finished the meal my friend that still didn't have his pizza which they messed up but they did give it to him for free 2 take away what topped it off for me was the fact that no one asked us how our food was or was even bothered about us but just before we left the waitress that was serving us went to the table she was serving between hours and asked if everything was ok and did they enjoy the meal which then make me want to make a complaint when I asked for the manager low and behold the manager was our waitress when I started to complain she was not bothered at all and was very rude to me this was by far the worst meal and service I have ever had being a serving soldier I work hard for my money and did not get the respect I deserved at this restaurant the manager's name was KellyD and she definitely needs to go back and learn how to handle customers in the correct manner as if that was my staff I would have fired her will never go back to that restaurant.

Recently, this was our first visit to a Pizza Hut for over a decade. We were trying to get the hang of the system. Sharon served us. She was so helpful and friendly. She patiently helped us to make the best choices for our needs. When we had a query about the food she went to the kitchen and sorted it quickly and effectively. We enjoyed the food and the ambience in the restaurant. All of the waitresses seemed attentive and helpful. If all restaurants in the UK had this kind of service it would transform the industry. Good training and management goes a long way. A willingness to give the best service goes even further.

Called into this Pizza Hut for the first time and we were so impressed. The staff were brilliant and so helpful and friendly. The pizza for me has to be gluten free and vegan. No problem and one of the tastiest pizzas I’ve ever had. We’ll be stopping in every time we go by.

This is the cleanest and friendliest Pizza Hut I have been to in a long time. Staff were engaging and not robotic, pizza was clean and the salad bar remained clean fir the duration of our visit.

We got seated and had Sharon as a sever. This is the second time we had Sharon (was meant to write a review last time but totally forgot)We all got seated, my daughter had a few tears and Sharon cheered her up. Made her feel important and got her to pick the table and her caryons she wanted etc. It certainly worked. We ordered food, she told us what was included in the offer/ voucher codes we had. Food was very nice and we had clean plates all round. Sharon is an absolutely star and a credit to the Pizza Hut Amesbury team. She really is a lovely woman and needs the recognition for her great work. The only thing I would say about here wasn't too keen on the kitchen staff had no hair nets and the lady dishing up, had her hair in a pony tail kept swishing about. Other than that Great experience.

Standard Pizza Hut, standard day out......however, this was not the case. The pizza, service and all round evening was honestly an overwhelming success. This review goes out to the waitress but yeah, really quite surprised how well the evening went.

Simply shocking service. We went there, for a family dinner. On arrival, it appeared fairly busy. We were shown to a table. After long wait, a waitress came over with menus, and a colouring sheet for two-year-old, she almost put it down in front of the child, then took it back, and said sorry "ain't got no crayons" and the way. Within a few minutes another waitress came over, with a colouring sheet crayons!!After a very long wait they finally came across, and took the drinks order. Yet another long wait, before the drinks arrived and they took our order. There were five adults in the party and one child. The order was placed, and about 20 minutes later five of the pizzas arrived. Further 10 minutes past, and the final pizza arrived at the table. It was wrong!It was sent back, and we waited the correct one. During this time, there are five had to start their food as it would have gone cold. I asked the waitress for some pizza or garlic oil, her response was "ooh, you would not like it, it's horrible anyway"!! Shocked and surprised are told not to bother. Finally the missing pizza arrived, and surprise surprise it was wrong the second time, wrong toppings! The waitress then simply laughed, as most of the food now been eaten, she was told not to bother. My daughter had had the children's meal, so she was entitled to a desert. The ice cream machine, appeared not to be working properly, and only dispensed, a very tiny amount. We asked about this, she told us there was no problem with the machine, as it had been cleaned this morning and taken apart, so the ice cream would taste good! I suggested to her that the machine was empty, she bluntly, pointed at the machine light and told us it was full!! With that, the manager came over, and asked her to go for the machine up!!I did complain, and we were not charged, however the service was simply shocking!

Three people left as we walked in informed waitress they had changed thee minds not because it was busy.Had not visited for a while the prices are very high for the type of meal that you are available to order in comparison to pub restaurants that I have visited recently.

It’s a chain Pizza Hut so it’s pretty much what it says on the tin as far as the menu and decor goes. Staff, however, are friendly and were quick to clear up a complaint I had. Doing so politely and efficiently. Service with a smile.

Running out of items, no latte or other coffees, just plain told the machine had been broken for months. Ordered a starter which was too hot to even touch for some time and the main came before half way through trying to eat that. Ladies so small it was difficult to get in. Staff lovely

Staff are so helpfui and help you save money if you ask for recommendations. Various deals are usually on offer, but if you are lazy like me its easier to ask the staff rather than read all the advertising. This place has its ups and downs At the moment its on an up and is liikely to be for a long time. The staff care and it makes a difference. Food is excellent as well. :) £20 apiece saw us full to the brim. Well worth a visit.

Being a chain the food will be well known. This store was clean and waitress was friendly. Location is good for travellers on the A303 heading West. Pizza had was fine with simple salad.

Staff are very friendly, I had the buffet lunch for £7.99 so it was good value. Lots of different pizza's to choose from and the salad bar was well stocked with a good selection. Drinks if you choose the refill option are all self service, so you only see the staff to take you to your table really. They are now using a mobile app QKR for bill payment and encourage everyone to use it. Cannot fault the food or the drinks for value. The toilets were clean and well kept. Restaurant also has air conditioning which on a hot day was a nice bonus.

Great Grand Mother, Grandad, Son & Grandchildren all attended for dinner as my Son is in the army and being posted abroad for 3 months. We all enjoyed everything we ordered. My Mother (the Great Garnd Mother) had never been to a Pizza Hut before aand thought it was clean & tidy with good service and she really enjoyed her meal. I would recommend this branch of Pizza Hut for family occasions. Well done!

Me and my boyfriend had the Pizza Hut deal, is coming with a large pizza, 2 starters an 2 deserts. Everything was ok, the price is ok. We was served by a lady with short blonde hair, she was really nice.

Me and my fiance were travelling back from Salisbury and decided to treat ourselves to pizza hut here. We were met straight away and shown to a seat which was good but then we realised we didn't have enough time to eat in because another appointment. So we asked if we could get takeaway instead but one waitress was just stood behind my chair chatting and I couldn't get out. It was very awkward then she couldn't hear me say excuse me. Eventually I was able to get up and told her we were going to get takeaway as we didn't have enough time and she gave us both a very disgusted look as if to say she was fed up and didn't want to be there.We then headed to the take away part where there were two ladies who just stared at us whilst we were trying to choose and sort of rushed us into making a decision even though there wasn't anyone else waiting. We ordered and paid and we asked what size the pizzas were and the lady didn't know and this wasn't very helpful. Then we sat and waited , the door kept opening and letting in extremely cold air as it didn't close properly, as well as this, another lady kept looking at us with a very angry face making us feel very umcomfortable,Therefore we moved to the other side of the empty waiting area.The wait time was reasonable so that was a plus. However the icing on this cake was when one the the ladies shouted 'where the f*** have you/they gone ? When our order was ready, we were appalled by this.

Had lunch with family today, every pizza overcooked very disappinting. We assumed the problem was the amount of people in the restaurant at this time, not a good enough excuse. We paid full bill reluctantly. Will not be returning.

The decor, the atmosphere and the staff are as expected for a global fast food chain catering for the hungry masses. The pizzas are average. The only gripe is about the extremely bland salad.

Used a tastecard had a main course and pudding! Excellent service Sharon worked really hard and was really friendly! She deserves a rise! Food was also excellent! Will be back thank you.

Popped in for a late lunch and the food was great, as was the service. Free salad bar and unlimited soft drink. What more can you ask for.

This is our local Pizza Hut and we use it about once a month or more because I take the time to complete the survey after each visit and receive a 2for1 voucher that does what it says on the tin on main meals (but not on the buffet). As always we were greeted with a warm welcome and a smile, seated quickly and had a drink in front of us in no time at all. The food service was quick and efficient and served at the right temperature. The salad bar was well stocked with a good selection of appetising items. The management are always working alongside the other members of staff and take an interest in the customers. They are also will to take time to talk to customers to either give advice on items or answer questions. We will be back inside the next month

Stayed over for one night in the area en route to Longleat, met up with friends for a meal. Great food, lovely waitress (Sharon), she was a real credit to the restaurant. Very friendly and prepared to have a laugh and a joke. Food well cooked, plenty of it. What more do you want for a Friday night?

Never go to Pizza Hut but had a £20 gift card from a friend, so thought we would take the kids after a parents evening that ended late. Although it was very expensive, we had an enjoyable family meal for 5 and the staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient.

This Pizza hut was very helpful. I am allergic to garlic and onions, they were able to tell me the only pizza without these things in, are the Barbecue ones. So I stuck to those and they put more of them up on the buffet, as there was only one on there at the time.Drinks are on tapSalad is all you can eat, if you get the right main meal.We stayed for lunch and had the buffet.My partner had been dreaming of Pizza all week, so he got his wishes in the end, despite I cant eat much pizza due to the allergies.The staff were excellent and very helpful. I will return despite me being any Waitress' nightmare, because of my food allergies.

We stopped off here on our journey home from South Devon. The staff were friendly and accommodating with the children's menu so our picky child was catered for. I had not been to a Pizza Hut for ages and I was a bit apprehensive but they now sell light flat-bread style pizza meals which are much nicer than the greasy pizzas I remember from years ago. They also sell sweet potato fries! The children's menus are good value with a lot of different options. My children loved the Seven-up machine with different flavoured 'shots' you can choose and add yourself.

I have come to this restaurant quite a few times both with family and with friends and I have to say I have always been given excellent service, there is a male I think manager who I particularly have to sing his praises sadly can’t remember his name, he really is fantastic with guests and is always friendly and really does make you feel at home.

On the way back from the West Country and stopped for a late supper. I know this is one of a chain but the place was clean, staff all very helpful and the service was swift. Salad bars can be very tired but this one was great. Well stocked and relatively fresh.

Need more staff. Sharon was on her knees. Supervisor did nothing and was hardly seen. The pizzas stay on the hot plate for ages, to a point were people was actually getting up and getting their own food. Embarrassing

Yesterday (Aug 17th) we enjoyed a real blast from the past at this Pizza Hut. About 5-6 years ago every Pizza Hut served a deep pan pizza base that was crispy, cakey and not saturated in fat. The chef at Amesbury far outstrips the standard chef at Pizza Hut and his pizzas and pasta were superb. Ably assisted by the amenable Cheryl (old school waitress - friendly, no-nonsense) this dream team made us feel like royalty and served us food fit for any occasion. Thank you both and well done.

Fab for what it is, my son and I love coming for the buffet as it's his favourite and the staff are brilliant!

Came here after visiting stonehenge. The staff are extremely friendly and seated us quickly. We ordered the Vegi hot one and the magherita stuffed crust. the food was brought over quickly and tasted delicious.

I really enjoyed our recent trip, staff were friendly. Food was delicious we had a really nice family meal.

Sólo había 2 personal que abarque el período buffet hoy, debido a que encontrará personal. Pero siempre había comida disponible y no tener que esperar mucho tiempo para sentarse. Ambos miembros de personal hizo todo lo posible para que mi visita una experiencia agradable y pidió disculpas por cualquier tiempo de espera.

Llegamos a la A 303 alrededor de las 7:30 p. m. Jueves 25 / 5 / 17 con nuestra hija y dos nietos de 3 y medio y 6 meses. Nos llamaron inmediatamente y nuestros requisitos jurado correctamente:) en seis meses que son demasiado pequeños para una silla alta, así que nos llevaron a una gran mesa redonda donde el bebé podía ser atendidos. Como mi novia es vegetariana no creo que Toby Carvery o KFC es apropiado así que decidimos ir a un Pizza Hut!Nos pareció que el personal era muy amable y nos sentamos nosotros rápidamente. El menú era mucho mejor de lo que recordaba. Yo opté por una pizza plana pan realmente no como bases gruesas de pizza. La selección de panes sin levadura era impresionante. Teníamos nuestro bar de ensaladas y para ser honesto era mucho mejor de lo que normalmente tenemos en la cosechadora. También compartimos una porción de patatas fritas de camote que eran frescas y no grasienta en lo más mínimo! Todo dicho y hecho, yo elegiría un Pizza Hut de nuevo.

Pizza Hut is normally just a fast food joint , but this one in particular is very good. They are good with kids and have 7 or more different pizzas on the go at the same time . Staff are always polite and happy.

A diferencia de la habitual en los servicios de la autopista, es encantador poder parar para comer Pizza Hut fiable. El chico que nos servía era super amable y muy eficiente, realmente no podría haber pedido más desde el servicio.
