Dan, what a shambles of service, no smile, no people skills, very defensive. Absolutely shambolic bartender for such a great pub. Worst bartender in 10 years of visiting this pub.

What more could one desire than sticky floors dirty glasses, slow service, no atmosphere and sub spoons level food. Wouldn’t come back if you paid me 👍

You’d advertised the Grand Prix, when we asked for it to be put on the person behind the bar (Dan) said no as the football was on. The Grand Prix started at 2pm and the football didn’t start till 4pm. He did go and put it on but then turned it off 7 laps (roughly 7 mins before end of race) at 3.25pm (35 mins before kick off). He hadn’t even put subtitles or the sound on for the football. When we asked for the end of the race to be shown he was very rude. We’ve used this bar many times and normally receive great service.

Came in the Monday just gone for a quick pint after work. Enjoyed a bowl of chips and a Guinness. Scott was very happy to chat, and he made me feel welcome!

I visited today for lunch with a few friends, and unfortunately had several issues. Firstly, I ordered an XL Diet Coke, expecting a larger drink since we planned to stay a while. However, when it arrived, the glass was mostly filled with ice and only about a quarter contained actual Coke. Considering it cost nearly £5, I felt compelled to raise the issue. A very polite young staff member kindly replaced it for me. However, I then witnessed what appeared to be her manager reprimanding her for doing so, which came across as very unprofessional. Later, I ordered another Coke, this time served by the manager, and specifically asked for no ice. In response, she only filled the glass halfway, seemingly because I had requested no ice. Having worked in hospitality myself, I find this approach baffling — customers are paying for the drink, not the ice. To make matters worse, when my food arrived, it was incorrect. When I pointed it out, the manager claimed I had ordered incorrectly, even though I had proof from my phone app. Overall, I left feeling completely ripped off as the food I received was definitely not what I wanted.

We had Bottomless brunch here after reading lots of good reviews. We had a fab time at The Bridge Tap - great food & portions, and our server, Scott, made sure our glasses were never empty. We left positively buzzing 🥂 Great service and felt looked after!

Why are you running 3 "mexican" restaurants out of Just Eat? Edit: Crikey, I found 3 more. You have 6 restaurants listed in Just Eat, all different names, that are all registered to your pub. Weird and dishonest.

The management there is shocking glasses left on tables. tables sticky. bits of food on the floor. tissues on the floor and a lime on top of a stair Bannister

James was amazing service, kept up at our empty drinks on bottomless even when he was busy. He stayed stress free and polite while serving us and a valuable member of staff to keep!

We visited bridge tap for my birthday and Taylor was amazing! The food was perfect and the drinks were spot on! I highly recommend this place for bottomless brunch!

absolutely loved the atmosphere and staff were very kind, but the food was quite expensive, which would be ok, except portions were small and it wasn't good. would recommend for a night out, but before you eat here please pick up a sandwich at sainsbury's or something 😭😭

The bar staff are lovely, it's a nice welcoming place, but the new owner/manager has decided to kill any fun the place had by removing all regular events such as the weekly quiz which the pups and I will be sad to no longer attend. Shame on you new owner, shame

£11 for a pint of cider and a half of poor craft beer, served by a disinterested bar person. You have to be joking; insult to injury! Fortunately an excellent Wetherspoons (over the road) saved our day.....?

I thought it was pretty average I much prefer the bishops mill for a meal It was more of a drinking pub it felt than somewhere to sit down and eat the chairs looked like they had a lot of stains on I wasnt offered any ketchup or vinegar I had to ask for it when the meal was brought over to me the chicken wings looked like they were shop brought and they were pretty average they never came around to clear the starter plate I was never asked how my food was in which they do in a lot of other resturants ive been to the meal took ages to come before it was brough over and when the assistant came over for the meal he took all of the napkins back and everything which I then had to make another journey to get again the chips were nice and the burger wasnt anything special it was a pretty average visit considering nothing was cheap there I would rather go to the Bishops Mill and have a lunch there as they seem to care a bit more for there customers there so I wont be in any hurry to go back there again

Came in for bottomless brunch and we were served by Scott, who was absolutely amazing! So attentive to our table and so friendly even having a bit of a laugh with us. Would 100% recommend

They said I wasn’t allowed in due to being in the British Military, then would not let my family in for being with someone in the British Military. For being in a Military town this is disgraceful.

Popped in for lunch and drink after deciding Kingshead opposite (spoons) was chaotic and dirty. Very relaxed interior and perfect to unwind for an hour during a busy wednesday

Our food was cancelled an hour after ordering. I wouldn’t have minded if someone had called to explain what was happening but they didn’t.

It's more expensive than other pubs

Disappointing food and small selection of beers. We came to watch the rugby game, and had booked in advance a table to watch it. We ended up sitting in a room with a big group of people not watching the game but having their bottomless brunch. Couldn’t hear anything and the staff wouldn’t turn up the tv very loud when we asked. The other rooms had much better sound and better ambiance and they should have put us there. Tables and floors were sticky and gross. Won’t be coming back.

A very busy pub just slightly on the outskirts of Salisbury city centre. The service was fast considering the number of customers. There is live sports on the many TVs dotted throughout the pub. There is a plentiful number of seats both in and outside. The food looked nice even though I didn't try it.

No cutlery with food. nNot served because we put a complaint in for this. I would never come again due to this.

I recently enjoyed a fantastic bottomless brunch at the bridge tap. The midweek atmosphere was surprisingly lively, creating a perfect escape from the usual workweek grind. Went there for a works do just a fee days ago. All the food came out at random times and meant some people had food 1.30hr before the last people. Had the fat santa burger witch was cold and the pigs in blankets undercooked The waitress kept saying it was here first day witch I can understand 18 person party on your first day is alot however the rudeness and constant avoiding of us was horrible. Do no suggest this if your planning a Christmas do

I have come here with my partner and friends for multiple occasions over the last yer, bridge tap is by far the best place to attend for drinks and bottomless brunch. The staff are always incredibly friendly and the service is excellent. India was our server for the first time today and she was impeccable: regularly checking in on our table, giving us drink and food recommendations and creating a personal experience for our party. I regularly suggest and recommend the bridge tap for occasions to all my friends and co workers and will always choose it for my first choice of an occasion.

Went for our works Christmas meal at bottomless brunch. Taylor was amazing! Great service!!!!! Will be visiting again!

Visiting Salisbury so stopped in here for some drinks and food. I ordered the cauliflower wings for my friend (who is vegetarian) from a young barman with a rude attitude. When the food arrived, they were chicken wings which we sent back. Subsequently, the barman returned to tell us that I had asked for chicken wings and would have to re-pay if we wanted the cauliflower wings. To diffuse the situation and not make a scene in the bar, I ate the chicken wings and paid again for cauliflower wings. However, I know what I ordered (obviously wouldn't order chicken for a vegetarian), the barman made a mistake sending the wrong order to the kitchen and refused to take accountability. He clearly knew that he was in the wrong as he refused to make eye contact when he brought the wings to the table then proceeded to glare at me condescendingly from across the room. I have never experienced such awful behaviour from pub staff before and regret spending my money here. To top it off, the cauliflower wings were mushy, over greasy and unappetising.

Went in on a quiet Sunday evening looking for some food as visitors in Salisbury, was greeted with a young bar man who couldn't say whether food was being served or not. Served us drinks but never came back to us with an answer.

Went for a bottomless brunch for my birthday. Somewhat of a rocky start with one waitress for a party of 7 playing catch up with a party of 17! But credit where it's due they pulled it back!! Not much selection on the food menu which was a shame but by the end we were all happy and couldn't complain so all's well that ends well.

The ladies behind the bar are lovely and accommodating. The food was meh. Ordered peri peri chicken, it was a plain chicken breast with a dollop of chilli sauce and small garlic bread. Buffalo wings was good though. Portion of chips are so small.

I am not a fan of pubs that reserve tables and this unfortunately is one of those. We were there to watch the football at 12.30 on a Saturday afternoon and had great difficulty finding a table for 7 of us to sit for the whole game. We eventually did find somewhere but this wasn't ideal as we had to vacate our seat at 2.30 and stand until we finished our drinks. Ironically the people who had the table reserved for 2.30 soon followed us to the Bishops Mill next door where you can sit anywhere!

Excellent food and plenty of drinks flowing, Taylor was a friendly member of staff and looked after us. Will definitely be coming back!

We had a very unfortunate experience here recently when out celebrating a friends birthday. My husband ordered 2 of each cocktails on the by one get one free, to be met with the response" for f..... sake. Whe the drinks arrived we were shocked to see the poor quality of the drinks. They were served in sub standard glasses one which was in fact plastic. And another served in a coke glass that looked like and tasted like a very weak blackcurrant and soda. When I approached the manager he couldn't care less, " what do you expect, it's busy,"when I asked him about the cocktail served in a cake glass if he would happily pay £13 for this, he responded by saying, " we'll you didn't it was by one get one free" yes meaning that one would have cost £13. I asked again if he would have been happy with it and he curtly said , yes I would. Terrible to think a manager would have this attitude. We then went on to the cosy club where we were served beautifully made cocktails by a lovely friendly bar man. Tap bridge could learn a thing or 2 from them. Literally felt like we were throwing away the £90 that we spent on the drinks.

I went down to the city centre just to watch the Malmö v Glasgow Rangers (kick off 17 45 hours). The manager consulted his phone and said that he couldn't put the match on because the golf was on and they can't show both. Neither of the 2 customers seemed to be watching the golf.

Dan our server was amazing kept coming round taking our drinking orders, and making sure we were all good with our drinks and orders with food. He is such a polite lovely young man, cute, and very friendly. Azing work Dan the Man! Keep up your amazing attitude honey x

Great bar for sports. The service can be pretty slow at times which gets annoying especially when you want a pint. I haven’t tried the food yet but it always looks tasty when I see it getting served.

Basic and definitely set up for the younger crowd, but had a decent craft ale selection, less so real ale. Was early evening so fairly quiet but great to watch the football on various screens around the pub.

Awful place. Given them their last chance. Staff are rude, disinterested, and act as if they’re doing you a favour by deigning to do their job. The worst customer service in a Salisbury ‘pub’ by some margin. Shame really, because the place could absolutely rock given the chance.

Had great service to start with at the bar with very friendly staff Unfortunately the next time I went to the bar, was served by a guy who clearly didn't care and had a huge attitude and made me feel I was a inconvenience to me placing my order and even rolled his eyes when I placed my order. and yawned and really totally did not care at all I heard him later talking to your door security about how annoyed he was about a particular customer, which may have been true but totally unprofessional in front of your customers . I will not return and not recommend your business to anyone else!

Awful experience, ordered from here and received the complete wrong thing. When I went to reorder after complaining, the second order that arrived literally had two half empty bowls of rice. Whoever runs that kitchen needs to be fired. Also woman on the phone was useless, did not help whatsoever beyond a measly apology. Do not give these people your money

Having been here in the past we thought it was a safe bet with the 2 children. Arrived approx 7pm and not one table clean and ready ti sit down too although the place was very very quiet. After waiting approx. 15 mins and having to ask for a table to very cleaned we ordered drinks and asked for the children's menu to be told..... there is no child's menu ask a second member of staff and no kids menu. Told them there is one online ti be told "is there??? (looked 30 mins previously on the website to down load the kids menu) staff have no clue. Sat down to drink our drinks as quick as we could so we could look elsewhere for children to eat for my partner to question the menu with the manager to be told, yes thats fine order anything from the children's menu????? So we did. £8 for 2 kids meals. Bargain. Kids hungry let's go for it. Children would now like desert. All included on kids menu. Vanilla ice-cream. Nope, charged £9 for 1 and a half scoops of vanilla ice cream!!! More expensive than Looked at menu..... even on the vegan menu it was £4 each???? Place is so dirty. Floor sticky.... peeling your shoes from the floor...... staff have no clue. Will not be returning.... a shame after a great experience a few months ago.
